Greetings lovely people! Well this is just fkkkknnn typical isn't it...! Literally the day I release this video, Dell appear to have refreshed the XPS 13 line up and now they have the option for 32GB RAM but only on the "business" page, not the "home" page, I just don't understand what they're doing... maybe I missed that and it was always there and I was only looking at the home page, honestly it really should not be this complicated and disjointed.
I have the 2in1 as well, but if you look at this page which is where I bought it from, you can only option in 16GB RAM: www.dell.com/en-uk/shop/laptops/new-13-2-in-1/spd/xps-13-9310-2-in-1-laptop That's the "Dell Home" laptops. If you go to "Dell Work", it lets you put in 32GB RAM. Which is utterly stupid considering the XPS is not a business unit. www.dell.com/en-uk/work/shop/laptops/new-13-2-in-1/spd/xps-13-9310-2-in-1-laptop/bn93106 There's absolutely no reason for this.
'Ricky Gervais voice over...tech mode' Thanks for brutally honest reviews bloke, been of great aid in my ongoing custom build inventory (Workstation. Mid Tower)
Count me as one who would like to see the comparisons between XPS and Latitude. I'm possibly going to be adding a laptop to the arsenal in the future but Latitude is definitely on the pricey side as I will still have desktops at home and office... Thanks for the great work!
Latitude laptop have great built quality..I have one for work which is provided by my company but man they are hell lot expensive for individual. I wanted to buy one for myself for built quality but its so expensive that I can get a top class gaming laptop and still save some buck.
Great review. How to you think the 16gb ram would hold up with QHD i7 11th gen? Finding a laptop comparable to my 13 inch MacBook Pro 2015 (in terms of screen, building quality, v little fan noise and reliability is not easy but I need a windows laptop for doing a MSc and I’m running boot camp on Mac and it’s not ideal. Any advice would be sincerely appreciated.
Sir,is this device nice for civil engineering and architectural works? Will it sufficiently perform against softwares like autocad 2D and 3D, sketch up,vray,lumion,revit,arc-gis,ETBS,adobe photoshop,illustrator.....?
My 9420 ignores all charging thresholds and always charging up to 100% (using genuine charger, charging thresholds are stored in BIOS). Can anyone confirm?
Ugh.... My work has been ona tirade in trying to move EVERYONE to laptops, even the power CAD users. At some point I'll see you review something and then say "ok... I'll convert to that"
There are a bunch of gaming laptops out with 4800H/5800H processors and discrete GPUs. - 1660Ti, 2060 and 3060. Pretty powerful compared to the laptops of yesteryear. What desktop were you running CAD on ?
Hi I'm not a student, please how can I get free Autodesk Inventor to work with on my PC. Also which Autodesk software is compatible with the new Mac M1 computers. Thanks.
You can't get it for free, it's licensed. If you want you can download and run a trial for 30 days. If you want to learn 3D CAD for free, try Fusion 360 as a starter point, once you've mastered that you its quite easy to use Inventor

Lucked into one of these, and damnit, you're right. First thing I thought was how much I liked the keyboard and bopping them.
Excellent comment at 7:20. My fingers are so big I press up/down arrows at the same time. In the end, I bought a previous model 9410.
I'm bopping on the keys of my Logitech MX Keys keyboard!

Fast forward a year and they go on ebay for 600-800 quid now. Tempting!
I assume you think you got a cool mic and great recording but it’s actually quite poor
I don't believe it's even a £2,000 laptop!
