It’s because of those aahhaaa moments that I love BJJ... these simple adjustments just blew my mind. Especially that kimura triangle thing. Great job guys.
At 5:10 I screamed because, I always end up stuck in that position from a kimora attack. I end up using it as a sweep but now from the love of you guys it's going to be a finish. Man I wish I knew were you guys were so I can come down and visit and train. Thanks for showing all your videos. I love you guys man!!!!!!!
Ive been training since i was 32 years old im now 47 going on 48 and a blackbelt. Im at stage where the younger guys are beating me now. Just watching muhammed makes me say damn, what a different level the pros are on. Just a totally different level. Anyone over 40 years old in any combat sport is OLD> These little things allow me to end it quicker without using more energy I dont have. I have a hard time getting out of bed I dont want to use what little energy I have left if I don't need to. Great little add ons.
I just started at 32 as well. It’s a journey for sure and I’m learning how to conserve since I’m fighting kids born in the 2000s this is a big help lol
Ive used the bicep slicer tons of times due to be shit at finishing arm bars, but I never thought to use it when fighting for the kimura. That is some slick stuff there. Loved the video as always.
Bicep slicers hurt like hell. I have had the one from the kimora employed on me many times and I hold out until Im black and blue. All you can hope for is his lower back is weak. Not the pros man.
Whenever my TKD/HKD master is using me to demonstrate a technique, he will show about 4 different submission options from the position, each one more painful than the last. After about the 4th or 5th one, while he's still got me in the hold, he'll go "oh, sorry", as if he didn't realize how much pain he was causing me. After he finally lets me up, my Dad (a fellow student of mine) will say "I didn't quite catch that, can you show me again?"
This was GOLD! I throw armbars all the time and my training partners are getting good at defending them. Ive used the bicep crusher before but never thought of the choke.
Im always learning more everyday. Sometime i almost dont watch a video because i already know how to do it but then I think maybe they will improve me and teach me a thing or two i dont know and it happens every time. I love jiu jitsu its like a game of wits in a way.
Excellent. I had this problem in my last roll. I had the perfect set up, but couldn't break his grip. I hurt my own forearm yanking on his arm, and had to surrender the position in the end. I'll remember this for next time. Brutal indeed. Cheers.
I never comment just kinda hide in the back of the class. But they work.. got subs all night using the figure 4 for arm bars. I was not actually trying to break the grip but wanted to see how tight I could get the technique.. Great stuff.
Very cool I love the kimura trap system and that bread cutter from the arm bar is very similar just never thought to look for it there so thank you very much can’t wait to try it out in a live roll
I'm from a Judo/wrestling background, I'm short and strong. Arm bars are my thing lol. But DAMN! Love those little nuances! Thanks for sharing.Great video :-)
8:55 in Hapkido, almost every move I know can be easily countered by applying strength in the opposite direction of the technique. But applying that strength makes it very easy for me to do an opposite move. If I try to go inside and apply a V-lock, and you apply outward strength, I can switch outside and very easily apply an armbar throw. Same thing the other way.
man, guys, thanks for sharing this. Whenever I get to the armbar position, I sometimes end up crushing my own nuts (yeah I know, I got massive nuts, it runs in the family), I tried this out today, and the amount of pressure you generate on the wrists make anyone tap even before you get to lock it, thanks ! (white belt love )
I like the bicep slicer, bit I haven't been able to get it really as I don't usually attempt armbars. One of my coaches showed me an alternative version from guard, but idr much of it. I almost got it in my last grapple session(no gi), but not quite. Guy knew better. Lol.
Like the lapel grip… and tight lat close to chest power position… funny thing - is that the opponent always seems to have a weakened grip position. What if the opponent also used the lattismus Dorsi self collar grip control... there’s a great video by firas zahabi on breaking down all the nogi grip variations. But with the gi… it becomes even harder when they can also grip their lapel and lock down a lat grip power hold. Sometimes I wonder why people continually recycle the easiest grip hold variation to break, in content.. and never quite show the monster grip, defence breakdowns most people use when they actually roll.
Cool techniques. One problem. The S grip is so easy to break. When people resist armbars it's generally not that defence they use, you can't access their wrist easily or you can take the arm, when they grab under your hamstring and defend their wrist so you can't crush it, that's when armbars are hard to finish so something from their would be good to learn
Mahmed: "Let's say you're fighting a super strong guy...with no neck...or whatever..."
I'm dead.
I heard "bicep slicer" and physically leaned forward in my chair in intrest
😂😂😂
brutal
esp off lasso guard
Thank you very much man !!!! It was awesome spend some time with you guys !!!
Awesome having you out brother!
One Way Jiu-Jitsu Awesome video
Amazing techniques, can't wait to try them out tonight
This was a great video man
Such a nice guy to provide a “pillow” when he puts someone to sleep 😴...😂😎👌🏼🤙🏼
“A little pillow” 😀
That choke is *sick*, I need that in my life.
"yeah he is strong, i am strong too" haha nice one
This video is a hidden gem.
Thank you! I'm a female and this is a very useful move to use with big, strong people.

It’s because of those aahhaaa moments that I love BJJ... these simple adjustments just blew my mind. Especially that kimura triangle thing. Great job guys.
You know that when Mahamed makes Chewy feel as helpless in a roll as Chewy makes you feel ... that Mahamed is a legit badass.
At 5:10 I screamed because, I always end up stuck in that position from a kimora attack. I end up using it as a sweep but now from the love of you guys it's going to be a finish. What a knowledgeable guy, love his idea and mentality on adaptability! Also loved that choke ;)
Mahamed "If you're controlling you're not fighting" Mind blown. Awesome subs.
Great emphasis on the philosophy on control, next level finishes, and commentary by both black belts. Excellent video!
This is actually one of my favorite BJJ videos. Great instruction and chemistry.
The way Chewy was suffering with that sub.if i was watching on the sidelines i wouldve been like coach can you repeat the move again 😂😈😂😈

So fun to do that bro
@@danielskrivan6921 your dad is a fuckin gangster
No gi tomorrow. But Monday morning I’m all over this. Thank you 🙏
Hercules Rockefeller
for the choke / armbar try to get a grip on the shoulder. might be stressful on the wrist but try a few options.
The bicep slicer works great in no gi

To go from boxing to BJJ..respect
I REALLY like that choke from the armbar! Excellent stuff. As a new brown belt I need to incorporate bicep slicers more. Great stuff.
You can always learn from someone you"THINK" you know more than because openness to new ideas can be helpful.
Those tiny little tap groans from Chewy are hilarious. “As you can see I put a little pressure here!” Chewy: “oo *Tap*”
Excellent. I had this problem in my last roll. I had the perfect set up, but couldn't break his grip. I hurt my own forearm yanking on his arm, and had to surrender the position in the end. I'll remember this for next time. Brutal indeed. Cheers.
This was amazing still above my head but things are starting to make more sense and both of your understanding of jiu Jitsu is amazing to me
Some of those techniques he was demonstrating looked painful. Thank you Chewy! Your pain, our gain..
I think that choke amazing 🖒. I'd never seen that choke 👍Thank you. 👍👍👌Super

caraaaca, mano, bom te ver em um dos meus canais favoritos de BJJ. :)
man bicep slicers are nasty! I have had purple belts do this on me and man that's a fast tap for me haha, great video as always Chew!
Mahamed Aly is amazing. Thanks for for presenting.
Oooooo, that armbar to lapel choke is nasty! I'm trying it tonight.
I just want a girl to look at me the way mahamed looks at chewy at 9:06
das creepy
LMAO
he looked like that cgi tiger from mowgli
😂😂
Lmao!!
Perfect for me, I rarely attempt armbar vs stronger opponents because I find them so unreliable but I'll try this
I'm focusing on armbars as a white belt. Great video!
Great video! I'd like to see more Mahamed in your vids!
Loving this content with Mahamed.
I'm from a Judo/wrestling background, I'm short and strong. Arm bars are my thing lol. But DAMN! Love those little nuances! Thanks for sharing.Great video :-)
I had no ideia mahamed could teach this great
These are just the business. Happy days. Will try out this evening. Thanks again my friend. 👍🏻
He had Chewy grimacing a few times during the demonstration... all while talking very calmly. Impressive. ☺️
Aly is an Excellent teacher!
controlling - is when you have more options, than your opponent
This is sooo amazing Beautiful technique. Very clean performance.
Dude thank you so much for these videos. I've been training 6 months and feel I have improved alot in the short time over been studying these videos
That Kimura armbar was soooo sick
Yes it was.
Mahamed ali aka beast
Beautiful transition to finishing
He's a straight monster.
duuude that was sick in a good manner !! well done !

I used to smash my nuts on armbars all the time lol try getting your groin under your opponents shoulder more
Amazing video guys.... As usual.
beauty of the thing, ahahaha. a beleza da coisa. baita vídeo!
that was really good stuff. i've never seen either one so thank you!
Super useful stuff, thank you guys!
using leverage the triangle creates for both a crush and grip break! that's great stuff guys!~
Only brown belts and above are allowed to use the Bicep Slicer and other compression locks.
For good reason.
SUCH A GREAT MIND SET 🙏🙏🙏
6:47 "allokket" .. i don't know why but that part made me laugh
"Make this little pillow" haha! This is a great video
+
Scott Gordon
Yes it is good to make your opponent comfortable. Give him a pillow and the whisper sweet nothings into his ear.
This Video was extremely helpful. I used these small points to finish a match via arm bar in a tournament this past weekend. Thank you
Damn son! Mahamed Ali! He should show us some of his sick stand up tricks
I do this from spider web all the time but that Kimora bicep cutter is a game changer
Such a humble guy!
ALY'S A BEAST
Really nice stuff. A bit above my pay grade, but quite nice.
Brah....Muhammad is genius!!!!!
Awesome video. Thank you Chewy. Props to Mohammed great techniques. There are levels to this sh%t. Great explanation as well.
That back choke to back take from the arm bar is sliiiiiiiick!
Wow this is STRAIGHT 🔥!!!
Mahammad is a weapon
Awesome viewing of jiujiutsu, thanks guys
I like the bicep slicer, bit I haven't been able to get it really as I don't usually attempt armbars. One of my coaches showed me an alternative version from guard, but idr much of it. I almost got it in my last grapple session(no gi), but not quite. Guy knew better. Lol.
Mahamed is the man
I followed His Channel and I wish I could speak Portuguese because I don’t see as much techniques in the English Channel he has but it’s all amazing
Beautiful technique ⚡️🥋❤️🙏🏻
"Make a lee'l pillow".... aaaand put you to sleep.
Dude no joke my instructor started teaching this a few months ago! Haha crazy
Great techniques and great talk!
Damn that was awesome!!! So many options I hadn’t considered 🧐
Esse ae e monstro !Osssss! Thank you for sharing whith the best.Ossss!
this was dope.saving this vid
That lapel grab is sneaky, black bets see a thousand things that they could do. While us beginners can only see a couple options...
Nastiness. Love it. Thanks Chewy!
subscribed to that BMF's channel. Thanks, Chewy!
Thank you Mahamed! Gold!

Really Clever Moves - Amazing Attitude...
Love that black and white gi! Who makes it?
Cool techniques. One problem. The S grip is so easy to break. THANKS FOR THE GREAT TECHNIC👍
Such great content
Great stuff, from what belt is this aloud in competition?
Great video
