Having lost my own son in a shooting accident (not a school shooting, and the person who shot him was absolutely not at fault), I can imagine the terror this mother went through until she saw and talked with her son. There's nothing worse in the physical world than being told your child, no matter their age, has been injured beyond recovery....absolutely nothing.

Nikki, you're gorgeous. I want to enter you.
I just love seeing the bond between a parent and their child.
I cannot imagine the anxiety she must have felt and then unloaded it when she saw he was okay. ❤❤
So glad her child was okay
No apologies needed there! You never stop being a mom. 💜
I’m happy he’s safe and has a loving mother that cares about him deeply. Thanks to all the hardworking mothers just like this one.
All mothers are caring and loving ! (Except some unique cases )
No
Don't ever apologize for hugging your kid! Incredible!
The guts and strength she has not to panic or scream or cry or literally any visible emotional response is actually shocking
What a pro! She started to choke and she definitely got as right on tbt edge but got control. That young man needed mom for a moment and she knew her priorities. That is a mom setting an example for her son. What a great moment.
Hiiii dear 👋
How are you doing today
Just saying he’s good is actually her realizing that her baby is ok . It’s like she was pep talking herself to hold it together. I felt that . The strength she had to get to stay professional.
OMG i could never imagine the fear as a parent having to face anything like this. I pray I never will 🙏
He just wanted to let his mom know he was ok. There is nothing better than feeling safe in your mother's arms.
You can tell she wanted to go hug him again ❤
Im so sorry for this mama
professional and still loving and caring mother
What world do we live in where we expect mothers to apologize for worrying about their child's safety and needing to hug them upon seeing that they're okay?
Her voice ❤ you can hear the pain and tears being held back❤
She was freaking out on the inside. You can tell she almost lost it when he hugged her. Only thing holding her togetherwas the fact that she didnt wanna freak out in front of him.
Prayers for all those affected by this horrible tragedy ❤️🙏 Glad to see this sweet moment.
and then she goes and works for people calling for more guns and no gun control, what a weird ass country we live in
Maybe the knives was a bit dull, the thug used the gun instead. I don't know. 😅😂
Shes so strong. Trying to care for her son but also being professional. Thankfully he was in contact w her telling her what was happening so she knew he was ok.
Its amazing to me that our society is going to continue to accept this as the new norm.
Yep, it's as if this country doesn't value human life. Which it certainly doesn't. God people are all kinds of fucked up in this country.
You see here on screen that this conservative family was left intact and conservative. If the boy had been killed today, this reporter would magically become concerned about gun violence in schools. A lot of people cannot afford 'empathy' and we have to wait until the bullets hit home. Not that empathy COSTS anything, mind you. I mean the conservative world view cannot stomach any empathy whatsoever. If that kid had died, they'd be investigating his lifelong behavior.
Speak for yourself. You can accept it if you want.
Fuck the cameras, love and your family always come first ❤
i wonder what it’s like to be able to hug your mom like that
What’s crazy to me is that they let someone with such a connection go out in the field
She was already there of course she was going to be waiting to see her son
It's Fox. Why are you surprised?
