    A little tip for the big bike riders, buy another rail seat post, then buy your self a Gel road bike/Mountain Bike seat. Amazing comfort and they look great. Specialized make heaps. So long bike trip, pull your bmx seat and pole out, put the road/trail seat pole in.

    Advantage of rail seats is that you can adjust it forwards or backwards a bit, if you're someone that actually matters to.

    Breaking in a new BMX seat is like breaking in a new pair of shoes 🗣️🗣️

  • @garygary6032
    @garygary6032 Год назад +2

    one difference with pivotal seat brands is that some allow you to have more adjustment so your seat can point more upwards like you're chase hawk in 2006 (although not all seats look good when it looks like it's about to shoot a plane out of the sky)

    Many winters ago, at a volume/demolition demo at my local bike shop, myself and a few others got free tripod seats during the product toss. At first we were very excited but after realizing what they were we very disappointed. We all asked if we could trade or even get a discount on a real seat. Fortunately they understood that nobody wanted the fake seat and traded for pivotals.

      What's so bad about tripod? They're fine. Just a lot less options. But free is free?

    That is true, I have a Primo Hemorrhoid (still funny) that I reupholstered with Jean material and the foam did feel quite a bit softer afterwards.

    The pleather on my kink gap is a little hard.... thought I'd look into a softer seat. The fabric looks softer but like it may wear out quicker? Love seeing my bike in the videos!

    I had a Shadow seat that was super soft and even flexible in the nose. They aren't all the same. Most are.

      Same parts, just different geometry. Get yourself a 22" BMX. BSD has long frames. 21.25 20" BMX would be another option.

  • @eddiestone7610

    I disagree with they’re all the same (pivotal seats). The BSD logo ones are way softer than most of the other ones. At least from my experience. Also I have the Merritt Casey Starling and it too was more soft than say like a Federal one. I actually had the Federal Roses seat and it was hard as a rock. What’s screwed up is they say it’s soft and comfortable in the description in Danscomp. It’s definitely not! And the bottom of the pivotal Seats are mostly the same but Eclat make one that is different.

    I bought an Eclat woodland camo seat and it hurts on my volume thrasher build. I’m 6’1 250lb and looking for the softest pivotal seat. Any suggestions

  • @GIBSONGASPER123
    @GIBSONGASPER123 2 года назад +1

    You can explain very well but should give more time to the cameraman to focus/show the parts you mentioned. (the camera keep on moving left ,right , top & bottom non stop, the viewers will feel dizzy. You control the time/length of the video so that's no need to rush.

    "All the seats are the same..." He should of clarified that most seats come in different sizes slim, mid and fat...among those sizes YES they are the same. A fat seat is gonna be the same as another fat seat just different material and color choices and that goes for other sizes too.
