    Hellcat Pro is my Number 1 choice
    Grip is perfection, Trigger is also excellent and has gotten smoother after shooting it a few hundred times.

      Haven’t shot it yet but it does feel really nice in the hand. Will try to shoot it this week.

      This is the best conceal carry gun out there right now. It is smoother, love the grip and the trigger is nice, also shoots excellent. Springfield really got it together on this one. I like their XDM Elite series like .45 and 10mm, a lot better than their earlier generations of XD, so they definitely improved and they have my full attention now.

    Almost something for everyone here. Great visual and physical comparisons between 5 brand name and very popular conceal carry guns. Certainly shows that they're all about the same size. Can't lose!

    I disagree on your comment "that barrel length does not matter much on IWB carry" I tend to carry 11 o'clock area, especially when driving and the barrel length matters. I don't like barrel digging into my leg. Shorter barrel does not dig in!

    A 9mm pistol with the same size of a Sig P365XL and 15 rounds of capacity without extended magazines looks great.

    I’ve been thinking about the hellcat pro, the 48 and the sig xl but this is the first channel that’s actually compared sizes which I appreciate. I carry a Glock 19 right now but it’s a bit too thick and too heavy so I definitely wanted something thinner.

      I’ve been carrying the hellcat pro with an optic for the past 5 months now. I must say that it’s been a pleasure as an edc. I do carpentry during the weekdays and for the most part, I keep it on me while working. Not so much if I’m doing flooring. Lol. I also have the Glock 48, which I carried for a year before getting the Hellcat Pro. You might consider getting the G48 MOS and get Shield Arms Magazines. If you’re used to the G19

    I have both the G48 and the Hellcat Pro. The Hellcat Pro carries I bit better. But, the G48 shoots a bit better. I carried the G48 for a solid year. I’m now about 5 months into carrying the hellcat pro. So far, I’ve noticed that I take it off a lot less than the G48. Most of the time I keep wearing it while driving. Where I was pretty much always taking it off when I got in the car to drive. Maybe after a handful
    More range visits, I’ll be as proficient at shooting the hellcat as I am with the Glock.

    Went to a local shop to try both the 365XL and Hellcat Pro on for size. In my hand the Hellcat just felt better, and I really like that sight picture. I wear a L-XL glove and the Sig just felt a little small in the grip. I think I'll be purchasing this week.

    Very nice presentation. I’ve had the glock and the first gen Smith and Wesson shield. Both are decent but no longer in my inventory. I’ve been leaning towards the 365X and using the mag guts. I believe that this video has finally put the nail in it for me. Capacity is great but concealment is more important to me.

    Mag Gutz makes a kit for the p365x-xl and it will make the stock mag hold 14 for less than $40 and virtually no change in grip length. Just FYI

  • @justdafax

    Held them all and I have medium sized hands with medium length fingers..I think the 43x has the best grip felt amazing and light...hellcat felt blocky even though its the same size...however the bigger hellcat might be the best of all worlds...the p365 had decent balanced weight but felt really slim to me. However honestly the hellcat and the p365 are more versatile because you can increase size by adding different round capacities so you can go skinny in the summer and add more rounds in the winter.

    Thank you for this great overview. I thought Hellcat Pro is by some magic the same size as P365XL but here I can see its grip is longer. Longer that much, it is the same as G48/43X.
    What about trigger reach?

  • @davidgiles9751
    @davidgiles9751 2 года назад

    Not to change the subject, but I'll be curious about what comes out over the next couple of years in the new .30 super carry round (.30sc). I would imagine a P365XL in .30sc would be able to get at least 14 rounds in the magazine, if not even 15. If so, I'd consider using that as a primary CCW over my current 10 round P365. However, I'm also curious about the long term wear on any "micro compact" pistol that shoots .30sc, as the high pressure of that round is potentially like shooting a steady stream of +P or +P+ ammo through a 9mm...

  • @bbmw9029

    Nice overview. There are two points I want to make, though. First, you're showing the Shield Plus with the 13 round extended baseplate magazine. It comes with a flush fit 10 round magazine. That reduces the grip height considerably. With that magazine in place, it would be the shortest in your group. Second, since you brought up the aftermarket Shield S15 magazine for the Glock 43X, I want to point out there is an aftermarket modification to the P365XL standard magazines that increases their capacity to 14 rounds. It's a replacement spring/follower and baseplate kit from Magguts. It only adds about 1/8" to the grip length.

      I don't have it yet, but I ordered one from now-crossbreed holsters. It's N8 Xecutive. I like the fact that with this, you can add a holster "wing" that presses the grip onto your body, so less printing.

    Someone already did, Taurus. For the price of these guns you get a G3 and G3C. Use the G3 for home defense or “combat”. And the G3C for EDC/Self defense. Or buy one and use all your savings to buy ammo. Great guns, go bang every time, shoot straight and cost effective. Don’t spend $700+ you’ll regret it.

    Sorry but I’m my opinion the Sig sauer p365x is the best carry gun in the market today, follow by Glock and S&W and then Springfield..in that order.. Sig and Glock are at the top.. either one is #1 I personally have a Sig but my son has a Glock and is equally good. The S&W just doesn’t feel good on my hands.. but is an excellent shooter.

      I went glock 43x mos. I felt like the 365xl feels good but didn't like the grip angle as much as my glock. I think it's just what ever u shoot and practice the most with. Is what u are going to shoot the best with. So I gave the new shield plus a chance. Because I felt like u did about the grip not being good and sure enough. I ended up shooting it eventually, really good. I personally found the trigger on the plus to be the best break out the box out of all of these.

    • @Javservice
      @Javservice 2 года назад +1

      @@brennenhudson7626 damn I have the opposite opinion. The Sig feels great on my hand. One thing about the Glocks I don’t like is the natural stance and angle of the handle. If you put your hand straight the gun points up so you have to force the hand down to aim. That’s why I love the Sig. I guess your hands and mines are different.

    • @brennenhudson7626
      @brennenhudson7626 2 года назад

      @@Javservice don't get me wrong. I like the 365xl still. It still is possibly the most comfortable out of these to carry. I just shoot better with the others. I don't think it's much but I think it has to do with the distance from the trigger and the back of the grip. I have skinny medium hands and shoot with the tip of my finger. I just find it easier for more consistent shots for me. Rather than the middle of the pad of my finger. Where sometimes I pull the shots to the right. I just have to practice way more with the sig. But I mostly carry glock because of how much better I shoot them. I think it's just due to more time with them.

    • @Javservice
      @Javservice 2 года назад +1

      @@brennenhudson7626 yes,, it comes to size hands I have pretty normal size hands for me the Sig is the ticket. The Glock feels good in my hand as week but the when you extend your hand and aim that’s the gun point up and you have to over correct to aim that I don’t like about Glock. In my case I have to force my hand down to aim and on a rapped situation I think that would cause me trouble. It only happens to me with Glock. S&W is fine I even have a Ruger LC9 and they all point perfect when I extend the hand except the Glock. It’s been a major deterrent for me to buy one even though I think they are great shooter. My son Carry the 43X and it’s ok I guess besides it doesn’t have a lot of capacity. My Sig has two 15+1 magazines and of course my has the manual safety. To me critical on any striker fire gun.
