    I love mine. It eats everything I run through it. 100% reliable. I carry it every day and have thousands of rounds through it since this time last year. Absolutely no changes or upgrades to it.

    Just got one of these off GunBroker. Total cost to me adding all the fees and tax was $460. I think I got a fairly good deal. It's used, but doesn't look like it. And it has talon grips on it already. So I'm pretty excited about it

  • @EvanT
    @EvanT Год назад +8

    The recoil assembly sticks out to prevent the gun from going out of battery when pressed into something (or someone).
    Basically if you are in a struggle and press the gun into someone's body it will likely still fire. Most other semi autos won't. IMO it makes it more suitable for a carry gun.

    • @EvanT
      @EvanT Год назад +3

      @@nopenada7195 yes it does. Take an unloaded hellcat point it in a safe direction and press it into a safe soft or hard target target. You can press decently hard before the gun won't dry fire. Most other semi autos won't be able to take the level of pressure you can put on a hellcat. It's not perfect like a revolver but it's significantly better than most other options

    Love my Pro. No issues, well made, is my EDC. Very accurate out of the box. Prefer no optics. The sights are not great for the range as mentioned, but I like them. Fast acquisition, easy to reacquire the target for follow shots. Great gun for the $

    Have it and put a Holosun green dot on. Just bought a XD-S OSP 45, don't like the sights. Called Springfield and found out the Hellcat sights fit, so I ordered a set. They have to be ordered by phone and you much be a Springfield customer to buy a set. They're not available on their website for purchase They will look you up to make sure you own their firearms. Love my Pro, it will stay on my Hip unless they come out with a 45 version

    Great gun the trigger isn’t match grade but it’s EDC what you expect but this gun is a shooter with the cold hammer forged barrel accuracy comes on quick like any gun ya gotta run copper through it but it eats everything thrown at it, the best ammo weight to is the 124 grain hollows still great muzzle energy on target with a little more zip but recoil isn’t to bad. I was a Glock fan boy but this my new EDC sit flush against my side hardly even know it’s there.

    The tip of my striker firing pin broke off after 350 live rounds and perhaps as many dry fires. Don't know if this is just a one-off or a more prevalent problem. Anyway, Springfield did a great job of rectifying the matter-had the gun back in my hands within a couple of weeks. Ammo-wise I have had (reproducible) failure to feed issues with the last two rounds Sig v-crown 124gr JHP in both mags; otherwise it has done fine with Federal HST, Speer Gold Dots, Hornady Critical Def. FTX, and Winchester Ranger T series hollow points. Other than the above-mentioned, I have been pleased with it.

    My Hellcat Pro ownership lasted about as long as a cup of coffee. The trigger guard undercut was giving me the infamous Glock knuckle. Also my finger was getting hung up on the trigger guard while trying to come back to the trigger and the trigger safety was pinching my finger. Kind of an overall disaster!
    Sold the Hellcat Pro and bought another Sig P365XL. 😁

    This stuff makes me laugh so hard let’s take a micro compact that we designed and make it larger and Call it professional. Just like the sigsauer 365 macro if they would have made it large in the beginning and then smaller and smaller that would be the winner I don’t know what the hell these people are thinking

    • @unixfool
      @unixfool Год назад +4

      Choice is always good.
      If you desire a micro striker fired gun, buy the 365 or Hellcat. If you want something a bit larger but still slim and light, get the larger variants of the two. Very small guns are a turn-off for many folks. Yeah, they conceal better, but at the cost of being almost too small to control. There have been several reviews of folks comparing the Hellcat to the Hellcat Pro (and the same with the 365 and 365 XL). Those folks stated that they shot the larger variants better, by far. One of those folks retired his Hellcat for a Hellcat Pro after seeing that the Pro carried just as well, but offered better grip that allowed him to control the gun better.
      I'd rather have the option of two than no choice at all.
