@@wishingiwasfishing8396 Yes! On the side of the compressor bed there's a small opening that allows the oil to drain down. It's not always a fun way to drain it but that's how it was set up by the manufacturer. Thank you for your question 😄
@The_Shop our older rolair was having a issue where the compressor would shut down if the tank filled up. Had to keep it slightly draining air to keep it going. Any ideas of what the problem could be ?
As a roofer I put my Rolair through so much abuse.. sometimes she threatens to leave and even will stop singing that sweet hum of hers. Thanks to you she now loves me again! Thank you so much man for real 😅
You very welcome my friend 🤙🏼 I'm glad she decided to continue with you until the end 😎 Thank you for your comment and the time you toook to watch my video 🙏🏼
you filled oil in 2 spaces but drained it in one. does that mean both oils drain from the same hole? am i suppose to change both oils at the same time everytime?
Thank you for your question Ryan! The oil I poured the first time is the synthetic oil for the compressor head (Rol-Air), the second is regular 10w-20 engine oil for the small Honda engine. Just to give you heads up, check the stick to ensure you have enough oil in both places to avoid premature wear on either of the compressors moving parts. If you have any other questions about this topic please let me know. Thank you for watching my videos 🤙🏼

Hello my friend and thank you for your question. The oil I used for the compressor head is the same brand as the compressor which is Rol Air (Synthetic). This oil has a green tint to it.
@@ryansan7575 the manual recommendation is every 40 hours which it'll be a whole work week. I will recommend every 50 to 60 hours depending on weather conditions, less when it's cold, and often when it is hot. Thank you for your question! 😁😁
Hello I have a question I have a rolair compressor 2 wheeled and the engine just got stuck when I try to turn it on the cord won’t pull Do you know how can I fix this?
Thank you for your question. For what you are telling me it seems that the engine got stuck. In order to free it you're going to remove the puller starter and by hand try to move it. If it doesn't move at all you may have to remove the head to see why it got stuck. Please, feel free to let me know how it went, I like to help you fix it 🤙🏼
@@The_Shop Thank you, i already did that and it only turns 3 times left and right and becomes stuck again The compresor it’s new it was seating there for 3 years and it was working yesterday in the morning but yesterday I put it vertically to replace the air cock valves and when I put it down again it was locked
Good morning Bro!... I would recommend the use of the indicated weight on the manual. The reason being is that the head is design to work with this particular viscosity, and if you were to pore a heavier or lighter weight, this may cause the head to lose compression and overtime will lead to a premature head failure (not compressing enough air). Thank you for your question and for your time.
Saludos!
I heard you're not supposed to put the oil through there🤔 I got one of these machines and that's just what I heard I could be wrong but I just noticed that there is another location to put oil
Hello, the compressor head manual indicates that this is the correct way to add the oil for the lubrication, however, I can always learn something new. I will be more than happy to try out another method that gives better results. Please advise. Thank you very much for your comment and your time to watch my video.
Does the honda motor oil drain out the bottom when you removed the bolt ?
