Air Compressor Oil Change--Extend the Life of your Air Compressor
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 5 окт 2024
- Easy "how to" video on changing the oil in an air compressor. Highly recommend changing the oil on your air compressor, assuming it's not an "oiless" system at the appropriate service interval. This will extend the life of your equipment.

It's absolutely amazing that even your older videos had this much quality. Straight to the point, and very information filled. Thanks for making great content!
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching.
What a gem seeing this video now after watching your modern content.
You’ve really become comfortable in front of the camera now!
Also,
Thank you for your service!
Thank you very much!
Been watching your videos for about 4 years now. I have an old compressor I wanted to maintenance so typed that into youtube and by golly here is one of my favorite youtubers telling me how to do it. Happy to watch and as always quality work sir!
Thanks and you are welcome!
Thank you for your service.
Ryan, Thank you for supporting those of us serving!
Thanks for sharing! I inherited an air compressor when my uncle passed away a couple of years ago and finally got around to setting it up because I finally have a use for it. Definitely want to change the oil just as a preventive measure. Seems pretty straightforward-just need to find the oil drain on mine.
Side note, I’ve been watching your channel for a few years but I somehow never knew you were in the military. Thank you for your service!
And, as always, thanks for all the great videos!
Thanks and you are welcome!
To me this looks like the first current form video, the stance, the angle to the camera
Only real difference is your comfort talking consisntely and your slowly developed voice cadence and video pace
This is still incredibly high quality
Thanks!
I've been watching your videos for years now, and I always was kinda curious what you did for a living
knowing you are in the military cleared a few things up
keep up the good work and thank you for being awesome
Thank you very much! After the military, I purchased a small farm and am trying to get it back in shape along with making videos. My wife works and we keep our spending within reason so we're able to have more family time together. Thanks again!
It explains the haircut. I always thought that it looked like a military haircut.
lol, the first time I saw one of his video's I immediately thought "This guy reminds me of many commissioned officers I've met" from mannerisms, bearing and attention to detail. Sometimes I thought "This sounds like he's reading from a field manual". I was not surprised when he said he was in the military. Thank you for your service! Were you commissioned?
@@ProjectFarm I suspected you were military, I'm also a veteran. Which branch?
A big thank you for your service to our country! Your videos are great, keep them coming!
Nice info.
When removing the drain bolt, the copper tube it is bolted into should not detach but stay screwed onto the bottom of the compressor.
Hold the copper tube in place with a vice grip (do not clamp down too much), while removing the drain bolt.
That should allow you to have more of a drain pipe closer to the edge and lessen chances for a spill.
If the copper pipe unscrews anyway, then remove bolt once it is all out and refit the copper tube onto the compressor with thread sealer. Then replace drain bolt with new and soft gasket and gently tighten so this will be the one to come out next time.
I would replace the tub or pipe with a longer one. I've done this on a couple of engines to make oil changes easier the next time.
Your videos have come a long way since 5 years ago. I joined this chanel maybe a year ago give or take. Excellent video as always. Would love to see more of these types of videos where you work around the shop!
Things I learned in this video that I never knew.
1. Your were in the military.
2. You're a family man.
Wow. A True American hero! THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE! I AM HONORED TO BE A MEMBER OF THIS GREAT CHANEL.
Thanks so much! Thanks for the suggestion.
Thank you for your service Sir. I've done that forever with bags... I stand up the funnel, and put the bag over it, open side down, like a parachute.... Keeps the funnel clean... Never seen anyone else do that until now.
Thank you!
First and foremost THANK YOU for your service! Great retro video. Awesome to see how you've grown comfortable with the camera over the years. Keep em comin.
Thanks! Thanks, will do!
Crazy to see how I watch every video of yours that gets recommended to me. Your confidence when making videos is the only thing that has changed. The information in your videos is amazing. Thank you for your videos.
That's awesome!
Thank you so much for putting this video out.Have the same compressor and this was the first time I had done any oil change. Yes, let it go way to long without realizing and ran it out of oil. Thankfully it was caught before any damage, but had seized a bit. Had to hand crank a bit to get the oil moving again, but worked great afterwards. Thanks again!
You are welcome! Thanks for sharing! Glad to hear all ended well!
great video, and thank you for your service
Jonathan, thanks for the positive comment regarding the video and thanks for supporting those who serve!
Thanks for your service, sir. What branch?
@@ProjectFarm Hi Sir; I know you try to answer replies. I am somewhat concerned that HF is selling "Oil less compressors" In large size format of 20 gallon.
I have taken apart dead, cheap 12v tire inflaters and found metal piston in a plastic cylinder. I get the cheap, get what you pay for. But to me, I think they are selling 20 gallon air tanks for $200. How durable could they be. I sure hope the thermal overload kicks in, when a seized compressor becomes an electrical dead short, fire hazard.
All your videoa are worth watching a few times. Even these old ones. Thank you for the time you put into all that you do. And thank you for your service!
Thanks and you are welcome!
At what time did he mention his military service? Just curious, I didn't remember him saying it.
Project Farm I would love to see you do a video on comparing air compressor oil. Like Ingersoll Rand synthetic, Jenny Ultimate blue syn., Rol-Air Synthetic blend, Amsoil Synthetic, Mag1 oil, Central Pneumatic oil, and others. You do such a good job with putting them to the test.
Thank you for the video idea!
I definitely agree. JUST bought a brand-new pulsar compressor. Went to and did the cold start after adding the suggested amount of oil they sent. Milkshaked instantly. And there was way more oil coming out then I put in Flushing with napa air compressor oil, then finish my break in run. Redrain and refill.
Even 3 years ago you made videos that I'm thrilled to find. Just got an oiled 2007 twin tank 4-gallon craftsman air compressor for free! The old oil was very thick and dark, just put in new oil, can't wait to fire her up and see how it runs!
That is awesome!
Hi PF, Great video!! I just retired from a farm and ranch store and we sell a very good "blue" compressor made in the USA. When ever I would sell one, I would show the customer the maintenance kit we stocked. Even at close to $100. for the big kit, it was a easy sell. The compressor had a 5 year warranty but with the kit, they got another 2 years. Maintenance is important. KL
Thank you! That kit sounds like a great deal!
Props to this dude. Still reads and replies to comments on 4 year old videos. This and many other reasons (such as his refusal for sponsors and staying independent) is why I originally subscribed and will continue to support his channel. Great work! Keep it up!
Thanks, will do!
Great video! As a quick story, the first time I added oil to my compressor, I didn't know about the sight glass. I overfilled it so much that oil came out of the muffler when I turned it on. Oil splashed all over the place and I shut it down quickly. I drained the oil and I'm thinking that I didn't do any damage, since it ran for only seconds. I learned a huge lesson and I now know about the sight glass.
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the feedback.
Install a pipe into the screw hole and put a cap on the end to extend the length of the drain. That oil did look bad- nice job keeping your equipment well maintained. Hope they drained the tank regularly!
Great suggestion! I agree...the tank was empty when I purchased the home. Thanks for watching the video and commenting!
I've done that as well. On other requirement I've installed valves to make it a tool less job if it's something that gets changed often.
Yep, I did that to mine and definitely makes draining the oil a much easier and cleaner.
Did that same thing on mine as well.
@@xbrandon502x you just gave me an idea you can GB o a step further and put a ball valve with a down spout for quick oil changes . Maybe a bit overkill but it would make the oil changes a breeze for the future.
Neat video, good explanation, and thank you for not having loud music on it ! Overall, just great !
Thank you!
Thanks for your service in the military. The oil in my air compressor all of sudden went to the top one day when I looked at it. I've read that if you don't use it much it creates condensation in the oil. Every now and then i open the air drain at the bottom and run it for a good 8 minutes or so to burn off all the condensation.
I happened to get this from googling air compressor oil change. I am know your newer videos well, doing side by side comparisons. Your quality and subject matter has improved, but this was handy. I am going to synthetic on my compressor.
Thanks for watching!
Just did that myself on my v-twin compressor.
All the research I found recommended synthetic compressor oil (30 wt non-detergent engine oil for emergency only & 1/2 up the sight window).
Appreciate your work.
Thanks!
I just type in "project farm" before I do or buy anything these days... It's like having a handy cool uncle anytime! 🙏
Thanks!
Just changed the oil in my Kobalt K7060V, 3.5hp, 60 gal. I could not find the capacity anywhere. Mine took 32 oz. I was glad to see that yours did also. I was starting to question my sight glass. Something else I did was check the air filter and the foam was starting to fall apart, glad I looked at it would of hated to suck deteriorated foam into the compressor. Thanks for the video.
You are welcome!
You mentioned heating your shop ... I'm a big fan of 250-watt heat lamps. You can use 6 of them for the same amount of power as a 1500-watt space heater and that will heat quite a large area. They're 90% efficient at creating heat because they heat the filament to 5,000 degrees, much hotter than the heating element in a space heater. And, they last virtually forever. Plus, they can be put on switches, or a thermostat, or even a dimmer (although they have a shorter life then). Just be sure to use a lamp holder rated for them, they have ceramic holders that can take the higher temperatures, available in any farm supply, or even Walmart.
This is a great recommendation! Thank you
Holy cow. Ive watched a good amount of your videos and just kinda gathered you were older then AvE himself! But my gosh thank you for your service brother!! How long were you in the service? & Welcome to Missouri I myself Am born and raised in good Ol' Missouri!! Hell yeah. Definitely one of my top youtubers with AvE
Thank you very much! I was in for nearly 22 years. Thanks again!
Hello , first thank you for your service . I have a similar machine from Husky / Home Depot and the manuel calls for 11.5 ounces . I splurged for the synthetic oil also . A tip for maintaining your compressor is to drain the water often . I sometimes leave the petcock open over night and youd be suprised what drains out ! Thank you for the great videos .
You are welcome!
I came here to see a larger shop air compressor comparison. I saw the small tire inflator tests, but they don't give me much info that is applicable to a 10+ gallon compressor. I would love to see that as a future episode. Best channel, ever, so when I knew I needed one, I came here first.
Thanks! Thanks for the video idea.
Thank you for your service! My son was in the marines 👍🏻 hats off to ya and your family
Thank you!
Great video. The little window was painted over on my 82 compressor and I didn't know it existed. I cleaned it up and it is see through again.
Thanks! Thanks for sharing.
I have watches a ton of your videos and did thumbs up on every one. This is the only one I heard you mention of being in the military. At that point I decided to subscribe. And is everyone else has posted from a month ago to a year ago, thank you for your service.
Thank you very much for the positive comment! I was in the military when I published this video and really enjoyed my time in the military. It's great to finally plant roots here in Missouri and to have a place that I can call home for more than a couple of years. Thanks again.
Nice little how-to video, thank you
I like the idea about the cardboard to guide the old oil.
And also the idea about reusing the old grocery bags.
Always good to hear some new shortcuts and tips👍
Thank you!
More of these how to videos please! I love the product comparisons, but I adore mechanical and carpentry how to's!
Thank you for the recommendation!
Haha I watch your show all the time and love it. Today I needed to change the compressor oil at work and look who pops up in the youtube search! Awesome.
Thank you! Glad this video helped.
thanks for the video . i love everything about the old machines . so your showing us how to preserve history
You are welcome!
Thanks for the plastic bag and funnel tip. Great tip I'll start using too. Watched a lot of your videos and really enjoyed them. Keep up the great work.
Great video again … I use Amsoil synthetic in my air compressor and also I use a empty gallon jug set it on the floor with a nail in the wall that I hang my funnel on and the tip of the funnel sticks in the jug to let it drain into that..
Thanks! Thanks for the feedback.
Excellent tip, think its something people overlook with compressors. With my compressor, its a big 3 cylinder one, I do a lot of car bodywork so it works relatively hard, I have put some lucas stabilizer and zx1 extralube into the oil, those two have made a huge difference to the amount of oil coming down the lines into my filters, almost none now, and before the electric motor would trip the inbuilt trip switch trying to start from cold when the temps got near freezing, now it starts right up no problem.
Thanks for the positive comment!
1:54, exactly what I was looking for. I'm about to change my compressor oil for the first time and was not sure whether I pour in the whole quart of oil or not. I guess this answered my question.
Thanks a lot
Glad I could help!
Thanks, I also bought a farm that had a compressor included in Ireland). I know a bit more now. I like your channel a lot.
A little tip that might help on that oil change next time is if you find a piece of pipe you can thread it into that hole on the pump and put a cap on the end of a piece of pipe that would be an easier way to drain the oil and just leave the pipe attached to the pump
Great tip! Thank you
@@ProjectFarm your welcome
THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND YOUR VIDEOS!!
I have watched and liked your bmvideos for years now. Great job. I imagine this was earlier on.
Great job and GOD bless!!
Now it is clear to me!!! I had to watch so many videos of yours to hear you say you are a service man. 🙂. Im in service to!!!! And i like to do stuff like you!!! Be well and do your magic!!!
Thanks for your service! Glad to hear!
Thank you for your service and all the awesome videos you put out greatly appreciate them!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for this video. I don't have the exact compressor but the basics about it really helped me understand things with mine.
Oldie but goodie! About to change mine now. Awesome videos! Cool to see an "older" one. Thankyou for your service!!! 🇺🇸
You are welcome!
It's a good idea to stick a neodymium (N52 10mm x 10mm or so) to the outside of oil drain plug (even on the outside it will create a strong magnetic draw on the inside end of the plug bolt), OR permanently stick a larger N52 on the bottom of the oil pan.
Daniel, Thank you for the great suggestion! Thank you for watching the video and commenting!
Manufacturers seem to use only ceramic magnets inside transmission pans. First reason being they are cheaper and second that they have much better heat resistance than rare earth. You will need to get temperature rated rare earth magnets for inside an oil pan and perhaps outside also. The bigger and more the better!
can t argu with that!!!sometimes they put a few on a steel filterhousing
When I hear all the garbage about the evils of "masculinity", I think about how you are such a great example of the goodness of masculinity! Thank you for your service to our country, but also service to the world for creating great common sense unbiased videos!
Thanks so much!
@@ProjectFarmHello, I wonder how to add oil to compressor Air Drying System ?
I know this is a old video but a tip I picked up is to use tin foil to guide the flow of oil or whatever liquid you are trying to catch and not make a mess. It is easy to mold to what ever shape you need to guide the fluid. Also thanks for your service and another great video.
This is a great tip! Thank you!
Project Farm thanks for the reply have a great night!
I run synthetic engine oil in my air compressor, seems to work fine. Yes synthetic is much better for it to start in the cold weather.
Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, I don’t think the detergent in motor oil would make any difference.
I changed the oil in my 21gal. Harbor Freight I've had for about 6+yrs. It stays outside year round on my patio under a awning. After about 20 seconds it ran significantly smoother & quieter.
Glad to hear!
I have a modified Hitachi nail gun compressor converted to a small shop compressor. The quick connect was changed out to automotive. Less air leaks. The plastic line to the gauges was changed to brass. An oiler was added to the compressor for air tools. Anti-vibration foam was added around the top to muffle noise. An electric cooling fan was added to the vent area on the compression piston. Basically, these are designed for nail guns, not shop tools. Has 4.2 cfms, runs all but some grinders & saws. 8 gallons means quick fill-up time. Now I'm running my compressor on 5W-40 euro synthetic motor oil. Runs great...
Thanks for sharing.
Everything you show here is helpful. You are so appreciated. Thank you.
You are so welcome!
I have watched you for years now, and had already watched this way back (there was a red line under it so I would say I saw it) Anyway doing an oil change on mine, and you helpful in my life again. Thanks. By the way, your channel has come a long way from this video. I join you almost every Sunday afternoon now.
You are welcome! Glad to hear!
watched this dec 2021... you are still a great presenter.
Thanks!
I enjoyed watching this video as I have all the other installments. Thank you.
Thanks!
Thanks fellow vet! I just rinsed mine with some gas and then put in some DElo. My compressor is very small, maybe 1 1/2 gallons so it didn't take buch. Sure come a long way since then. Thanks, Commander! A-PLUS!
Hi Lewie, Always great hearing from you and thanks for the positive comments! Great choice on oil. I'll likely do the same next time I change the compressor oil, which I need to do soon. Thanks again and wishing yall many Blessings!
@@ProjectFarm HI Commander and I know non-detergent oil has it's place but I'm not really comfortable in using it when a high detergent, high dispersant will keep the crud loose BUT it does have to be changed. Maybe they figure the non-detergent is for non-changers. Sounds reasonable. BLESSINGS 2 yall!
That funnel tip was just as good as all your test videos!
Thanks!
Enjoy your channel. Thanks for your service
Thank you!
Good job on the video. What I did with my compressor, I removed the drain plug which was a 1/4" pipe thread plug and bought a 2" long 1/4" pipe and cap. I installed the pipe instead of the plug with the cap at the other end. Now when I do oil changes I just remove the cap and the oil runs out the pipe and makes no mess.
Nice work!
i know this is an older video but im kinda new to channel, really love the stuff you do. here is my tip on oil changes. if the item is something you are going to keep. my dad and now i always change out the drain fittings to make it where it is easier and you dont get oil everywhere. linke on this compressor i would add a nipple and then a 90 down and the a pipe plug. that way you are clear of the frame. also i remove the water drain cock and put it out where i can get to it easy with a ball valve and a pie tin. i live in high humidity so i drain often.
Thank you!
Thanks for the info. It's a good tip for the home mechanic.
Thank you!! I'm still very happy with the LEDs. Highly recommend them.
I really enjoy your videos. Thank you for doing them and most importantly, thank you sir for your service.
Thank you very much!
I want to thank you for your Service to our country. As well as say I enjoy your videos. You always go the extra mile to check compression and do things most people would never think of. Keep them coming and God Bless!
Thank you very much for the positive comment and thanks for supporting those who serve. God Bless.
Thank you for this video! Helped me with maintaining my air compressor!
You are welcome! Great to hear!
Ha! Vintage project farm! Loving that sh*t! Honestly I was halfway through another video and scrolled down and seen your video, even though it was four years old I clicked on it and watched your whole video instead of the one I was on! Keep up the great work brother
Thanks!
@@ProjectFarm anytime bro! I’m also a ‘researcher’, I always have been. And when it comes to researching products before Purchase, if it has to do with DIY or any kind of tool etc., I know whose channel I’m coming to first every single time!! I started my car audio and electronics channel A few months back but I’m having a hard time catching steam… But honestly man you are truly an inspiration, keep up the great work!!
That compressor looks like one of the older Harbor Freight 60 Gallon Vertical Air Compressors. I have the 2HP 29 Gallon model and it works great, max air pressure of 150psi, plenty of air to run all the air tools I have, and quite easily runs my nail guns, air hungry tools like air impacts, etc. of course cause the compressor to cycle more often, but the compressor handles the jobs I need around the house very well. I've had my compressor for a couple years now, and did the initial oil change after like 5 or 10 hours that the manual recommended, and haven't changed it sense, probably will this spring though as I've got quite a few DIY projects to do around the house so it'll get quite a bit of use this coming year.
That dang oil drain location is a PITA for sure, many are like that though, so you have to get creative unless you want oil all over the compressor and ground. I may try and find a piece of pipe or something to thread into the drain plug hole in the pump case to extend it out for easier draining, then just put a cap on it like a few others have mentioned. Its not hard to change the oil just quite the mess due to the drain location.
Those oil-less compressors aren't that great, and they don't seem to last as long as the belt driven units. The last compressor I had was a Montgomery Wards 1HP 11 gallon unit that my grandfather bought in 1976, it failed about 3 years ago and the harbor freight compressor replaced it. The old MW compressor still runs just have a hole in the air tank :(...someday I'll get a replacement tank and swap the motor and pump over, it works great just the tank leaks pretty bad due to the hole. Just happy the hole was a pinhole and found it before the tank ruptured under pressure. I also found out that the old MW compressor pump itself is actually a Campbell Hausfeld and I can still order rebuild kits for it....may do that as well when I get a replacement tank.
I suspect it might be an old HF compressor. Previous shop owner bought a lot of HF products. Thank you
Its amazing the progress u made on your videos in 3 years. Very helpful video as always
Thanks a ton!
Thank you for your service! Seeing this video reminded me its time to change the oil in my compressor
Glad it helped!
I had no idea you were active military! Thanks for your service
Thank you for supporting those of us who serve. I officially retire on 28 Feb. Thanks again.
Thank you for your service! As veteran's me from the 82nd Airborne, and my wife retiring after 24 years in the Air Force we always thank or military! Keep up the good work! Also what do you do in the Air Force?
Thank you for your service! I recently transitioned out of the military and am now enjoying a lot more time with the family. Thanks again!
i'll be honest here, i noticed you had a few slip ups like coughing etc, and frankly i didnt even mind. on the contrary instead of it always being perfect it makes the vid alot more human and personal. i compare it a bit as how one would act on a job interview or with friends. those stiff guys like to see everything proper but friends dont want that bs and want you as you.
hope itd made sense, thx for the vid
Thanks for the positive comment!

Nice little video i enjoyed it.. Remember to drain all compressor air tanks let out water due to condensation do it at least once a year
Thank you
I've been a long time subscriber. Even this early video is very informative. Thank you for your service, sir. Your channel has come a long way since this video! I wish you all the success it can bring!
Thank you very much!
Thank you for your service. Enjoy your videos.
Thank you very much!
Hello, I put a long nipple on the drain with a ball valve to prevent oil messes. When it is easy to do you tend to do it more often. Take care. Doug
This is a terrific suggestion--thank you!
Also, I highly recommend installing a ball valve at the bottom in order to easily drain water out after every time you use it. The petcock does not drain well, and doesn't have a very big port.
Great suggestions, actually! I'll probably do these mods to my compressor when I move into my next shop
I have a suggestion that maybe you could fit into two or more separate videos. How do oil changers that extract oil out the dip stick hole compare to the opening and draining of oil through oil pan drain plug. It seems that foreign vehicles have oil pan designs that actually benefit from extractors more so than draining from the pan plug. You could also do a comparison of various brands of electric extractors and then various brands of mechanical pump types and then maybe even comparing the top electric versus the top mechanical. Love the videos, keep up the good work!
Thank you for the video idea!
Thank you for your service. I love your channel man.
Thank you!
I was looking to buy a air cleaner/water remover for my air system and thought of looking on your channel first. No luck, dang.
Thanks for the suggestion.
I've been a subscriber for quite some time now but for those with an Ingersoll Rand SS-5 compressor...that sight-glass must be full. Zoro claims the oil capacity is 40 oz. but only about a Qt. drained from mine so that's what I put back in. My yearly oil changes may be overkill but $20 for a 1 Liter bottle of genuine All Season Select from TSC is cheap insurance for a compressor that set me back a grand. I sure hope you put enough oil in your compressor. Thanks for the great videos. They certainly help me get through this stay-at-home pandemic.
Glad to hear! Thanks for watching.
Thank you for this information. Yes, I did indeed add some additional oil.
Ah yes. Vintage Project Farm. You've developed into quite a slick presenter compared to these old videos. Kudos!
Thank you very much!
Another thing I like to do is
The drain pan use for oil, after you empty it it's still an oily mess so I have a cardboard box it fits in exactly ,close the Box and the oil pan doesn't get mess all over my shop in between uses.
Great tip! Thank you
About 20 years ago, I bought a craftsman oil- less compressor for my garage. I don’t use it for much more than doing checks on my brakes on my wife’s car in my pick up truck, and changing tires and adding air to all the vehicles in the family at times, and changing tires on my mini motorcycles, adding air, so my compressor probably only runs about 30 minutes per week when I’m working in the garage during the warmer months here in Pennsylvania
there’s no oil in the compressor. I can see the piston and connecting rod if I remove the guard and look up into the bottom of the compressor. I had my doubts at first, but it seems to work. It’s a 20 gallon tank, single piston.
it would not turn on one day when I energized the motor at the switch. So I figured it was blown up. I have it mounted on the shelf. I made Ford in the upper corner of my garage above my parts washing tub. I have my son come over and help me take it down, and I was ready to just go buy a new one. But I wanted to know what happened. I started by taking the cover off the electric motor. I found the reason it would not turn on in the first 30 seconds. The motor was filled with stink bugs that apparently found a nest in there to live in. I wheeled the compressor outside, and started digging the stink bugs out. I got the compressor to start.., After removing most of the stink bugs. Then I just used the air hose to blow out the rest of the stink bugs that found a home inside my electric motor. There were hundreds of them in there.
Wow. thanks for sharing.
Thank you for your service and informative videos.
Thank you!
thanks pf for the video, trying it on my Hitachi bebicon 1hp Air compressor for the 1st time
You are welcome!
Hay Project Farm. think you for the Heads up Great Video I just got an older compressor last year at an Auction and going to try to bring to Old Beast back to life. you have saved me a few hours looking up how to Maintain it thanks a lot look forward to more vids I Subscribe to your channel. Thank you
Ive been trying to find a good air compressor. I really wish you had a video on the subject! So far Ive only seen portable tire inflators on your channel.
Thanks for the suggestion.
Love all your videos and thx for all the money you spend on for us and thx for your Service
Thank you
I don't own a compressor but always learn something from your videos. God bless you and thank you for your service to our great country!
Thank you very much and wishing you many Blessings as well. Thanks again!
Single viscosity SAE 30 weight, non-detergent oil is fine to use in most air compressor and power washer pumps. It's inexpensive and most hardware stores carry it. Change it yearly to extend pump life.
You are the best!
Thanks for your service!
I noticed the Woodland BDU's in previous episodes and was going to ask.
I love the sand eating engine and how you do these tests with farm equipment since I spent many younger years on the farm.
Stay safe!
Thanks! You are welcome!
Thanks so much. Super helpful video.
You're welcome!
I got one those HF pancake air compressors about 8 years ago. We used it torun a stapler and used it once in awhile for light sanding.
Got it to use to air up bicycle tires and it wouldn't go over 20 lbs. Took it apart to see why. It looked like it was not sealing around the compressor piston ring.
Spayed the cylinder and piston with Dura lube spray. put it back together and it worked.
This was over a year ago and it is still going.
Thanks for sharing.
Great tip on storing the funnels.
