How do we turn these old beams into fireplace mantels?

Follow along as we show you the main steps of our fireplace mantel manufacturing process! All of our mantels are made right here in the USA.
1. Unload beams (most of our reclaimed beams come from old agriculture buildings and barns from the upper Midwest.)
2. Sort and load beams into the kiln
3. De-nail each beam to make sure it's free of debris and metal
4. Head to the mill for rough-cut
5. Hand-sand
6. Bore mantel bracket holes for our floating bracket system
7. Finish (if clear coat or stain is requested)
8. Photograph each mantel individually
9. Upload listings to the website for sale!
10. Pack and ship with love and ship to our customers around the US.
