As a man that struggles with ADHD and CDO (that's OCD but in alphabetical order) this was one of the most therapeutic videos I've seen in quite a while! Great video!
What a nice trip down memory lane. I remember talking with you about something for replacing the concrete floor. I had watched all the videos until then and some after then youtube decided I had too many subscriptions and removed a bunch of channels from my subscribed list. It took me two years before I realized they had removed you from my list, been here ever since I realized it and came back. Thanks for making videos to share with us, Donn. It is never a bad thing to make people dream.
I remember how unlikely it seemed something as complex as a sawmill could be built in the "shop that was". Always a better day for visiting Donn's workshop! Even the reruns are original!
Thanks. Sorry for the rerun. Had to remind myself (in the midst of the frustration of projects not fitting in the workshop anymore) that at one point it was my dream workshop.😀
You are a very hard-working and intelligent individual. I congratulate you from the bottom of my heart. I look forward to each of your new videos. Good luck.
Donn, you're doing great, I admire you, your hard work, patience and accuracy. Many will envy such a workshop. The workshop has been transformed, it has become bright, beautiful, there is more space. It remains only to work in it, create new projects, shoot new videos and please us, your subscribers. Thank you for the sea of positivity, I watched in one breath without looking up from the screen. All the best to you. Peace, kindness and love to all.
Massively expensive build but of the highest quality and also comfort to fight off Estonian winters. So many valuable skillsets Donn. Nice to see someone who does periodic ABC dry powder fire extinguisher shakes to prevent clumping
I always love that anything you build, you do it right and not half assed like so many other people. Great watching it all. I had to slow the video down because you was going way to fast lol
Ok, i think you deserve better. Like a huge shop with endless possibilities. i vote you sell everything off their and move to America here and have fun with me. I could learn so much from you!
*Who is that young man?* 😄 You put a LOT into this and it has yielded everything we love about "Donn DIY" and more. You've been in my top 5 fav's since I found your channel, and this is only one of the reasons why. God bless.

Awesome man, is there anything you can’t do? Tks for sharing, keep up the good work. Wish you were around last week when I had to mount my snow plow to my quad 🤣
Let`s take a moment to appreciate just how much work actually went into this 25 minute video ! Damn Donn, that desk bench is built like a battleship ! = )
Thanks for sharing with us Donn, sure glad you did this version too so I can send it to my Sons to check out your channel too. I sure do enjoy watching your channel and seen all this happen in the first round you shared bit by bit and it was great. Keep up the great work and videos. Fred.

Those 1940ish machinist cabinets and bench were made super heavy duty. No one could afford something like it anymore. 👍 I do remember that struggle moving the lathe, but I suppose that will be in the next episode. 😀
Woohooo..this must have been more than 1000 clips.. Thats an immense amount of work, to film and edit all the footage.. Not to mention the workshop build itself.. I am in the process of doing the same, since April this year. But filming would delay the workflow too much.. So hats off, that you managed to do all of this hard labor and filming it.. In the end, it paied off.. Greets from Austria.
Thats one major misunderstanding which people have, who dont make youtube videos...They always say "put a camera in the corner and film yor self..easy as pie".. I think 80 % of the audience have no imagination, what it takes, to makes such videos.. Or as John Heisz says..nothing is easy as it looks like... Anyway.. Well done, my friend, well done..@@DonnDIY
As others said, this job is looking damn impressive. And the fact that most of the things you did ALONE BY YOURSELF... man you re tough! Cant wait to see how it continues
Boy, that is a lot of physical labor. Oh, to be young again. Outstanding job. I wish the building codes in the USA were more flexible when it comes to repairing, adding on, and full construction on your own property. Here you can't put new stairs up on your home without going through the whole permitting process.
Wow Donn you put in an incredible amount of effort into your shop! 👍 What year was the original structure built? I always enjoy the Skateboard shots 😊👍 Thanks for sharing this with us!
First ever mention of this farm/homestead was back in 1790, the building itself is from the eighteen-hundreds. It has been rebuilt in different ways many times. Last time after the WW-s when it was partly destroyed.
@@DonnDIY Wow pretty amazing Donn! Thanks for letting me know. That always fascinates me the age of things in Europe, lots of history. Out where I live in the North West there’s not many structures that date back very much, probably the oldest still standing structure is a lighthouse built in 1857, besides that most structures where built around 1890 and later.
One of your GREATEST VIDEOS EVER!! THANK YOU for taking us on a journey through your mind and creativity. A really nice little workshop you got built there! I myself have "furnished" a small barn for a small workshop. It's more work than you think! You pulled it off really well! Fun to watch your videos with! I found your channel quite recently have been checking through quite a bit! Nice to see when you film everything in such detail! Continue like that! Really good!
Love the video and the effort you put into your workshop. Makes me want to tidy mine up a bit, as it's an absolute mess right now. I'd love to see how you install the heating, lighting etc. Good work mate!
Im glad you documented this! You accomplish an incredible amount of work in a tight space, and I (and I think most of us!) have wondered how the Little House of Magic and Manufacturing came to be! Who helped you when you needed a second or third person? The young man in the skateboard sequence must be a brother, but was your Dad there too? All in all, quite the aerobics program you have there😂😂
I remember the original video when you poured the concrete floor. You didn't pour under the lathe - you said you would move the lathe, pour its floor, and move it back. In all the projects since then, when I see the lathe still sitting in the hole, I am reminded of that plan to pour its floor. 😀
