I have all three you mentioned. I rarely reach for Pura; something about it just doesn't always vibe with me. I love Ambra, especially the rose and saltiness that comes through on the drydown. And I fully agree about the old school nature of Sandalo, but I really like it because - not to be too much of a downer - it reminds me of my late father. Upon smelling Sandalo for the first time, it immediately reminded me of the smell of my dad's old school hair tonic that he used to buy at the barbershop. As for other AdP's in my collection, one of my favorites is now discontinued, but you can still find it if you look around a bit: Mirra. I also really enjoy Note di Colonia IV. It has some light citrus and rose over an intriguing base of opoponax. Highly recommended!

Colonia essenza layered with any of the ingredient collection is the way I go.
As a man. I agree Ambra is better than sandalo.
