i love the scent but my nose finds it lacking in strength - if i purchased this i fear i'd use the entire bottle in a thirty day period .... spraying it constantly wishing it was a tad stronger

Pretty much all fragrances will be 50ml and 100ml from now on. EU rules are getting strict, and they all have to be the same size. There are probably exceptions for small quantity brands, but designers will all be one line of sizes.

Molinard is a fantastic perfume house. Their "know how" has produced amazing fragrances since 1849. Undeniable quality and pride in their products. I have so many of their perfumes. Doesn't break the bank and is super quality.

The change in bottle sizes is disappointing, but not surprising as they were one of the only houses offering that much perfume at those prices. My favorites are Santal Noir, Bois D’Argent and Feve. Here’s to hoping for some more exciting releases from Francis 😅

The way Iris/Myrrhe/Honey are worked in Bois d'argent is just brilliant. I haven't been big on the latest releases though. The Paris Exclusives have also been permanently discontinued sadly

Great review. Fantastic scent as well. But is it worth the price? Probably not for every day user but if you’re a collector then yes. Otherwise go with MDCI Chypre Palatine, which is equally great but a lot cheaper.

A fragrance a lot of people are drooling over🤤. Is it worth $1000, no. But if you can get it on good-heavy discount, then for some/a lot of people it is. I own 6 Roja fragrances, and i have to admit, none of them are worth retail. Discounts are the only way to make me buy my next Roja Parfums fragrance. That said. Fragrance is luxury. And when was luxury actually worth it? If you go on a trip to some other country, will a luxury hotel be worth the cost over a regular high quality hotel? Not really. The price vs what you get ratio isn't high enough. But you shure will have a better experience living in luxury while traveling. A brief time of riches and wealth. Of course for that extra money, you can have a longer/extra trip, or buy a lot of stuff when you're traveling. In short; It's up to each individual😅. ❤❤👏🏼👏🏼

My spurge was my 100ml Chypre Palatin Silk Roads bottle that I ordered from MDCI. Fortunately, it comes with 5 x 11ml samples which helps cushion the blow. To answer your question- If it's a special scent to you, than yes, $1,000 is worth the price of admission. You know what, With today's prices continuing to increase across all brands, Roja's prices don't seem as unattainable as they once did. Enjoy your special bottle!

What a beautiful perfume for your collection!! Just hearing the name Diaghilev, leads me right away to believe it is a very dramatic scent,since he was very extraordinary. I think it’s worth it if you love it, and that money would have gone to something else,therefore; you have a beautiful treasure. Enjoy!!♥️🩰

I have a sample. Definitely a standout for me. I don't have any from Roja Dove, but this is my 1st choice. I may splurge one day and go for it. There is nothing else I've smelled like Diaghilev.

I bought this a couple years ago. It is an amazing scent...it really blows away any version of Mitsouko IMO. I have the newer version like you with no Roja label on the side and I see no difference, still very rich and opulent

If it brings you joy, why not. I've recently sampled Jubilation XXV and can definitely see the connection to vintage Mitsouko. I'd love to try Diaghaliev and Chypre Palatin

It's so beautiful. Old school chypres are my favorite, and Diaghilev is transcendant. You really just can't fake this type of thing, the way it presents itself on the skin.

That huge bottle is so beautiful. I see it on fragrancenet for 500$ 😅 if you absolutely love it and have the funds sure, otherwise I’d say there is a couple of similar fragrances that are more affordable. I’m getting to know it more though. If you like this one I recommend Dior’s Dioressence which I think is really underrated.

I love Aqua e Zucchero, at first I wrote it off as an expensive ‘Pink Sugar’ yes it’s similar but after i still smelled it over an hour later, i started wearing it, it’s really pleasing. Lasts all day and is quite oily. I got a bottle on Venba a pretty good sale.

Loved how you compared the samples to other perfumes, I’m finding I do that with the Gallagher set I’m currently going through. Having a discovery set , really is teaching me about different notes. Purple head sounds like it would be a fun line to try!!!💜💜
