  • I shouldn't like this but I do.

Have you smelled this? Were you aware of its existence?
Other perfume mentioned: Dzing! by L'Artisan Parfumeur, but they are not the same at all, with Cirque du Soleil without the animalic and leathery notes.

I also completely blind bought it with the hopes of loving it but if not I agree I think it’s a good collection piece because it’s so beautiful and I love the concept. Haven’t received it yet but I’m excited

I came across your review and your take on this made me go for it. I've been debating since I got a sample, so it's not a blind buy, but it would have been had I not found a decant on Mercari. When I saw the review on Fragrantica and the bottle, I wanted it so bad for that bottle. Silly, I know. I am not a gourmand lover but this is nice. I do not find it juvenile at all and I'm not young. I get strawberry milk, caramel and the popcorn note is fleeting to my nose. The dry down is warm and sweet and I find it lasts pretty well on me. It's not really my taste but as you say, it's a sometime wear for non serious, fun occasions and the thing is, I may regret not buying this as I also love the Cirque de Soleil and I collect perfumes, lol. Nothing worse than trying to hunt down a discontinued short run release at higher prices down the road if you don't go for it when it's available. On the other hand, it could end up at the discounters but why chance it?

I think this will be a short run and not end up at discounters since it’s a direct to consumer product. The brand is distributing the scent themselves. I agree, get it while you can and savor it.

I can't believe you blind bought this but I kind of love that you did. I love what it represents and the packaging is a work of art.

So rare for my to blind-buy and I don't recommend it as a whole. But... I just couldn't resist, it just feels special.

Never know Cirque du Soleil made a perfume. Now I do. 😊 Nice comparison to Dzing. They have a definite concept.
    Is this a one off?

It is. I believe it’s done by a company that does these kinds of collabs.

I love your thoughts on how it gives the feeling of not being a serious type of scent! It sounds beautiful but fun. 🎡🎠🎪
