I bought a number of Dior decants as my New Year's gift to myself. I VASTLY prefer New Look 1947 to the new iteration. It is now on my wish list along with a few others that match my personal fragrance profile. However, that's what I get for being a "day late" to the fragrance game.
The change in bottle sizes is disappointing, but not surprising as they were one of the only houses offering that much perfume at those prices. My favorites are Santal Noir, Bois D’Argent and Feve. Here’s to hoping for some more exciting releases from Francis 😅
@@CanadianBeautyBlog unfortunately based on his releases so far he’s not off to a good start. New look is divisive, the Dior Homme Parfum 2025 and Bois Talisman have been met with a ton of negative reviews and the espirit de Parfums are wildly expensive for what you get. Hope he can turn it around.
@@CanadianBeautyBlog very true. The change in perception of Dior Homme 2020 proved that sometimes the public isn’t ready for certain perfumes, but with time they eventually come around
Pretty much all fragrances will be 50ml and 100ml from now on. EU rules are getting strict, and they all have to be the same size. There are probably exceptions for small quantity brands, but designers will all be one line of sizes.
The way Iris/Myrrhe/Honey are worked in Bois d'argent is just brilliant. I haven't been big on the latest releases though. The Paris Exclusives have also been permanently discontinued sadly
New follower now, great video. ❤
Thank you and welcome!
I also like New Look. I see the Leau Froide comparison. Reminded me a little of Incense Zagorsk.
Oh I haven’t smelled that one!
I smelled New Look last year and enjoyed it. I have L'eau Froide so I get the connection. Glad that you like it too.
I’m glad I remember L’Eau Froide correctly!

Totally, that’s too bad. I hope you find it!

He’s got to prove himself before he alienates the Dior audience completely.

@jimmy3984 maybe they’ll be understood in many years.

I really enjoy Dior’s Gris Dior
Lovely!
I wonder if it's myrrh that gives Bois d'Argent that amberiness
Yes probably that too. It’s just enough.
Praise Demachy 🙌👼✨ I do enjoy my Ambre Nuit and Feve Delicious 🌝
So good.

These will be 100 and 200. Chanel’s are 75 and 200… are they making them change?
@CanadianBeautyBlog The 200ml will most likely stay. They will just stop the 75ml and 125ml bottles.
We shall see.
Ahh, the old "prices not going up but less perfume" trick😊
Shrinkflation 🤦🏽♀️

Too late for me, I guess.
Francis demachy, please forgive my previous indiscretions 🫂🙏🏻😂
🤣
