New colors, new interior, new wheels, new exhaust, new tail lights and a Manual Transmission Original or Swap and this thing will be amazing!
I think this car aged very well. Never liked it when it was new but now I think it's absolutely beautiful.
as he points out the ashtray I'm thinking about passengers, "if you smoke in that car, I'll stab you!"
Unlike you, if someone smokes in my car, I would throw them out of the car. I just don't care if they bleed.
@@automation7295 you're correct, throw out, then stab... don't want their blood on the leather.
it's an italian car, smoking is mandatory
@@claudiuspulcher2440 Smoking isn't mandatory in any car, it's just a choice to smoke or not. Do you also think it's mandatory to smoke in Mercedes, BMW, Audi, Mini, Roll-Royce, Land Rover, Jaguar, Bentley, Volkswagen, Škoda, Porsche, Fiat, Lamborghini, Citroën, Renault, Peugeot, Koenigsegg, Volvo, McLaren, Honda, Acura, Subaru, Toyota, Lexus, Suzuki, Hyundai, Genesis, Kia, Hummer, Chevrolet, Ford, GMC, Dodge, Chrysler,
Smoking was never mandatory.

Doug: here with my friend the GT3RS watering can
I've loved this design ever since it came out. There is a clean surface aesthetic with cars of that era as compared to today's aero monsters, which gives cars like this a timeless design.
"You still have all the fun without any of the flash" - DeMuro, Doug - 2021
only real doug fans don’t skip through his cars and bids talk
When I was this early, CNC was still in business.
Ah the Ferrari Scaglietti.Maximillion Cooper drove his white Ferrari Scaglietti around the world in 8 days in the “2006 Gumball 3000 Rally”. “3000 miles of pure hell fanfare”.the movie is on RUclips I recommend watching it.
Back when Gumball and other rallies seemed fun. But now it just seems trashy. Then again, there were less road laws then and social media didn't spread every asshat wreck or antic before the end of the day. Shit would happen and it may take weeks before the average person to hear it.
That and the videos were on a delay, so they seemed cooler. Now you just look like an idiot filming your asshatery in and out of traffic on instagram(looking at all the dodge charger/challenger videos I see now)
The 612 probably wouldn't be as unloved if they released it as a maserati because if you just change the grill to the maserati grill it really works
The top gear car used for the race to Oslo was recently for sale here in the U.K.!
It was an SLR McLaren.
15:58 "I actually think they're reasonably attractive cars. Not beautiful..."
Reminds me of a Weird Al song from back in the day.
"You're sort of everything I ever wanted.
You're not perfect, but I love you anyhow.
You're the woman that I've always dreamed of.
Well not really, but you're good enough for now."
thank you. you made me laugh
Cringe 👍
Weird Al rules.
"get past the looks" But it's so pretty I can't!
My thoughts
Since three years I own a 612. It is a wonderfull and tastefully car. With the sports exhaust an incredible V12 sound.
For me, The most beautiful 2+2 Ferrari
This review is why Doug is one of the best auto journalists out there. Well done.
Cop: hands behind your back, you are under arrest!!
Doug: before I do that, check out CAARSSS AND BIIIIIIIDS!
"and i'm here with my friend, the GT3RS watering can."
I love this "not so Ferrari looking" Ferraris, like this, FF and 400.
New Roma too
That gear change took forever lol 😆. Makes you appreciate modern day transmissions.
"and while they're sitting in the back they could smoke thanks to the ash tray"
You literally cracked me up Doug
Later models of the 612 were more modernized. Most had navigation and a glass roof that could brighten or dim with a dial on the ceiling.
Those lines are so elegant!
I thought doug was going to April Fool's Day us.
I don't understand how people can be mad at the FF. I really like it. Way better than this thing.
I like it, its a beautiful gran tourer with gorgeous proportions. In Europe they are starting at 65.000 EUR (73.000 EUR dollars), wich is really cheap for a Ferrari. I dont know how good is the reliability? If its really only a few grand a year, then this is THE car to have! And that sound, oh man! Love it!
prepare another 73000 in the next 5 years😅 fairly cheap.😅
Need to review the watering cans quirks and features on More Doug
That would be three hours.
This is such an awesome car - this video was long overdue. Awesome job, Doug!
Ah yes. The car that raced a plane from Heathrow to Verbier and won!
One of the best TG episodes ever
THE SPEEEEEEEEEEED
Great episode!
Great episode that.
@@saxongroove5898 indeed! I’ve always loved the episodes with the long races where it’s a car vs something.
9:28 Fun fact: that radio was make by "infinity" and they put the same radio in the hyundai tiburon V6 FX/GT 2003-2005
Thank you Doug, this was my favorite Ferrari in TDU2* and I totally loved the 612 over the 599 as I thought the styling was so much better. Now that TDU3* has been announced it is perfect timing to see this lovely car once more. Oh and I also see a few "DeMuro Cars" dealerships in ATS* too, so that is yet another spooky link to games I love XD

Doug is the kind of guy who pronounces “comfortable” with four syllables.
So comfortable you know...
com-for-ta-ble!
Hey Mr Reagan
Well it isnt Cumpft erble
I like this car a lot: elegant, sporty, low profile, long hood, great back, superb interiors, a super pedigree. And it’s at the same time so “normal” so low profile, like you can go to do groceries, it’s not flashy, just elegant and muscular and beautiful
this!
"If you can get past the looks...."- me- 'shit that's beautiful.
It is beautiful. I love the lines on it.
More like "If you can get past the fact, that other people think it's ugly."
@@jannevaatainen It’s absolutely fkn gorgeous and has way more presence (from behind at least) than most modern Ferraris. Until today I had no idea people don’t like it, plus the rear seats are perfect for stowing bags - what’s not to like?
Do you have eyes?
Right? It's got astin marten vibes
This is the first and only supercar I've been in when I was 6 back in 2012, beautiful till this day
The watering can bit was so well executed. Very enjoyable review.
"A $20,000 service to replace the belts"
What did they replace them with, an entire Honda Civic?
This is like “the old” ferrari Roma
For me the 612 is in an other league just because v12
The Roma is a completely different vehicle... This is a Big car with a Big V12... Seems like the Roma is marketed for women or people who might be intimidated by "Ferrari"
4:26 Omg that cracked me up!
Thanks for the all great comments and stay safe and I love your car
6:10 It's a Ferrari. You control the volume with the pedal on the right.
