I love that you're more interested in a cupholder and an armrest instead of going over the details of aerodynamics, which is what this car is also really well known for.
You can find a similar arm rest in a VW Jetta, but you won't find fenders that redirect air to provide downforce or front louvers that electronically adjust to help cool the front brakes on many other cars..

Having driven both, and owning an f12, there's no difference other than styling. Yeah the 812 is a bit faster and more powerful, but on the road where you drive cars there's no point in that little bit more power. Even on the track they feel the same. I personally like the f12 more because it isn't over styled like the 812 and it's much more subtle. Mine's in tdf blue so it flys under the radar. Also the f12's interior is better, i can't really explain it. It just feels better and more spacious. Lastly, take all this with a bit of salt, i love my f12 so of course i'm going to be a bit bias towards it.

The armrest doesn’t have a trick latch. It doesn’t move. The armrest does. And I don’t think Ferrari owners memorize their chassis number. Most own several Ferrari’s. That’s a lot of numbers. Good review though.

5:47 the picture of the tailgate up actually contains an emergency release for the rear hatch. Take the cover off and pull if the battery is dead and you can’t get into the boot
2:02 I just unlocked this Ferrari in Forza Horizon 4 and immediately thought that dotted rectangular piece on the bottom of the rear must be the middle brake light! But when I braked I saw it did not light up, instead there’s a strip on top of the rear that lights up. So I was thinking if that bottom piece isn’t the middle brake light then what the heck is it????

Hey Doug. There's one unique exterior feature on the front of the car. It has two flaps that opens and closes when you have your foot on the brake during high speed. It also improves aerodynamic efficiency.

For me the most beautiful car ever made is the first model of the Audi A5. It's simply sublime.
Apologies if this has been posted but the picture of the F12 with the boot open in the boot is the cover for the manual release for the boot (trunk to you Americans ;-) ) in case the battery is low on power as the charge point is in the boot (trunk). Pull the panel with the picture off and there is a cable inside to pull. I've had to use it on my F12.
Plenty of people told him in the comments of the Super Fast, but I guess Doug's the kind of guy that's too busy counting the stitches on his dash trim to read comments.

PIT Speed was also intended for use with Valet Parker's, it was not labeled as such because it would be easy to figure that out but most Valet Parking Attendants do not know what the Pit Speed control does, which can limit the car to a very slow speed which is all that is needed for simply Valet Parking a car. Ferrari is Smart & Slick !
I hope one day the F12 gets depreciated like the 550/575 got and now the 599 is getting. A F12 for ~100k would be too good not to grab

I cleaned/detailed my black 2015 with 1,500 miles most of the weekend. It's just so beautiful from every angle. I love this car... Got the factory grey wheels and dark tan/brown leather and I can't remember the name of the interior color, but it is gorgeous. I got the carbon and LED wheel... So much fun.

The horn on the steering is awesome, when you’re driving fast in that car and want to warn what’s ahead of you it’s faster and easier for it to be on the steering than on the center. A split second can prevent a crash.

Hey Doug, that picture of an F12 with it's tailgate up is actually where the emergency luggage compartment release cable is located. For use if the lid release button does not work. (see page 82 of the F12 Owner's Manual)

My favorite Ferrari. Imo, it's a beautiful masterpiece made by Ferrari and styling and everything is nice and functional and it's absolutely fast considering it has 730 horsepower and 0 to 60 time of 3.1 seconds

Doug, the rest of the radio controls are on the back of the steering wheel. They function exactly like Fiat Chrysler audio controls. The 2010s California uses the exact same radio infotainment as a 2010 Overland Grand Cherokee and Chrysler 300's
