What does the Go-kart sound like with a 3ft Header?!

In this video, I show you what a massive header sounds like on a Tillotson 212cc powered go-kart. You could feel it in your chest. Keep in mind my old junkie camera does not re-create the sound very well, so it sounded much better and louder in real life.

I did some turning off camera, and it turned out. The engine was running a little bit rich, but that should now be fixed.

I found that simply putting a 2ft long pipe as a header will not only make it sound like a Harley, but it will also increase power by a LOT. Especially if you swap out the carb for a 22 or 24mm carb and tune it just right.

Yeah, I have a 22mm Mikuni on it. I had to turn it back really lean though.

i have the 3 stage j pipe on my kart. it sounds pretty good seems to have more top end than my buddies with shorter exhausts

I would love to open it up on the private roads around here and see how it feels at 4500-5000 RPM but I feel the neighbors wouldn't appreciate that. :)

As I mentioned, the camera angle made it look like it was going slower, it's a wide angle lens. I went full throttle a couple of times. :)
