Make sure that this key is facing with the tip of the proximity remote toward the spot on the steering column where it shows key with two arrow marks.
*Hold proxy key to the steering column between the marks.
*Press and Hold brake pedal.
*Press and Hold push start button.
**If the car started right away then we good to go just check the remote for functionality.
*** If on dash show "crossed key" - keep applying brake with your foot, holding the key against that same spot and at the same time just press and hold start button again for a second time(for 5 more seconds) - it should recognize the key this time!
And if it still didn't go thru ... repeat for another couple of times.
Usually, it will take one or two times.
Then you are done.

you cheating the peoples. Key ordered from the bmw dealer. You showing key activation instead of key programming
basically what shown here is syncing procedure and not cheating. simple as this. your comment is lame.
So if I go to the BMW dealer ship and order me a new set of keys the come programmed already?
His comment was spot on. Not lame. You will lead someone to believe based on what you implied, that they can program a key like this. And that requires a minimum 2k in cpu
