- Here's a short video on vehicle earths and how simply checking the ground on a component could save you being towed to the nearest garage. For the cost of a piece of sandpaper, it's worth a go.
I’m trying to find earth everyday. .....still no luck 🥺
Yeah me too, every time I look into the sky, I only see the Moon.😩
Earth ground is kinda universal. I see it on equipment from Europe. Vechicles I believe haveca floating ground. Doesvthe earth float...lol
So your really not checking the ground / earth straps. Your just making the light go on, what will this accomplish?
And what does that mean, when there’s a good strong light?👍
@@drivewaydiyer6504 but you can run your light to another car and it will light up. What did you accomplish??
@@nicks7548 how to hook it up and rust and corrosion is a problem.
@@drivewaydiyer6504 My point is if you attached the positive lead on the tester to battery + then to a ground on a different car the light would light up. You need to test it with the ground strap unbolted on one side and still the strap could be on its way out and give you a false test. That’s more for testing fuses. Good luck-
@@nicks7548 I do get your point. Most people don’t know what a ground is and how to identify a ground in the engine bay. To find a good engine ground is difficult, especially with rust and crud. We could talk about this all day. There are so many variables to basic circuitry, none of which can be diagnosed without a good ground, especially jumping a car. Cheers for the input. Great feedback, I’ll make sure my videos are clearer on this.👍👍👍🙏
Didn't know using positive to Chasey could be possibly i thought it would cause a short is this okay to try any car
Always research your car before doing any diagnostic work. You only do this on 12volt supply. Any sensor diagnostic work would require a different process.
@@drivewaydiyer6504 I just wanna try it on grounds to see if thy are getting good contact
If you’re looking for a good ground, make sure you break through the dirt and grime.👍
Far better to use multimeter.
True, I use both.👍
Earthwires lol
Mind went blank, lol
