Edward Eudave yeah, I bet that Jaime and Juan keep their iPhone 7 plus (for other reasons then screen size), together with their favorite Android phone, whatever that may be at the time. i don't own a iPhone btw. good review Jaime! I like that you tone the hype a little bit down from Juan's LG passion, although I must say that LG has done a good job on this one, but what about performance and software, two weak points if I listen to other reviewers?
wearing a scarf and trying to look metrosexual is also cumbersome. Trying to squeeze two cellphones into skinny jeans is also cumbersome. Hating on the G5...was easy. But everyone was doing it. So why not JR and pocketbook now¿
Edward Eudave I do it too also so I can give my job and customers one number and just turned that f*** her off when I get home I'm famous for never picking up once I'm clocked out and anyone that ever worked at me understands stick to your schedule cuz I ain't changing mine
Complaining about the type of snapdragon is ridiculous. The one they used isn't even a year old, most, if not all ,average users will not care about this or even see a difference. There is a difference between a spec sheet and real world usage.
Ro nin sometimes is better I love my Z play other people would have went for the Z-Force or the thinner Z but the thickness of this phone with the still powerful processor it has granted it's a 600 series and not a 800 series for day-to-day use I don't see a difference between this at all as a person that just multitasks and use his dual-screen functionality but don't game having the ability to leave the house at 35% and not worry about my battery makes it the best phone I've ever owned it's 400 compare to my $900 iPhone and I use it more I'm going to replace my iPhone with a G6
Brad Fortin Really, then why does it have even bigger bezels than my Sony(with stereo ff speakers and headphone jack)? Apples really wastes space too. Just to make it 0.1mm thinner each generation.
It has 3D Touch with with haptic feedback which no Sony phone has. It takes up a lot of space but is worth it. I will live with the slightly larger bezels but I agree about the headphone jack. It is a big inconvenience not to have it and I will probably be getting an Android next because of it.
Really man? You're pushing yourself down a deeper hole of embarrassment. Yes, I have used the word SENSE. Please, do a favor to yourself and spew your hate on some other LG video - there are plenty.
You seem worked up. Maybe you are trying to cover up for your unneeded meddling with that smiley at the end. When you don't care, you don't even notice. You noticed and so you care. Anyway, stop wasting your time and my time.
My LG V10 bootlooped after 1 year of regular usage. Guess what happened earlier this month and only 2 months after receiving a replacement? It ALMOST bootlooped AGAIN; believe it or not, I caught it force restarting while it sat on my desk. So I immediately pulled the battery and let the phone cool for 10 minutes. Doing that saved it. CONCLUSION: never let an LG phone overheat.
Shellyman Vol.2 exactly. but honestly as soon as the samsung galaxy s8 comes out, all those samsung fanboys are gonna all over trashing lg for having a like 2% worse processor. some people just don't know when to shut up.
still have mine since 2017. performance is still good but the battery is not that great anymore, it just gives me about 3 to 4 screen-on time. it's a great phone, and i'm glad i bought it.
Jaime, just watching again the g6 review and wanted to thank you so much for mentioning front facing stereo speakers. We need more of y'all to push that thought. Thanks
pocketnow is now my favorite RUclips channel thanks to the quality and the great reviews. any way I'd like you to look for any problems with the latest LG phones like the constant rebooting or dying problems that occurred on previous flagships of LG

I do hope this LG G6 only sets up a bait for Samsung and Apple to release their flagships THEN release an LG G6 Plus with Snapdragon 835 + 6GB RAM + 64GB storage + higher capacity battery, all at that screen size and ratio. That would be the best phone of 2017!

well both Galaxy S8 phones are to be "edge" versions so I'm going with the LG G6. I currently have the S7 and don't want to be spoon fed the Edge of the 8's...
I have to point out that this phone was released *one month* before the snapdragon 835 so they had to use the snapdragon 821, and *LOOK AT THE PRICE OF THIS PHONE NOW!!!* I would say that $450 is great for a phone like this.
i have always been a fan of pocketnow. i have been following it because of Micheal Fisher and Jaime Rivera. I really like how Jaime deliver the dialog in every mobile phone review. What i also like that how relevant this dialogs are relevant to the video background. The video playback and the backgrounds choosen for the video is very nice. Finally what matter is the review, and its always been nice to listen and the get the reviews.
Thanks Jaime, you're reviews are always so detailed. You're right about the Snapdragon 821. It does the job perfectly. This video is one of the major reasons I bough a G6.
Gorilla Glass 3 on front panel is unacceptable in 2017. but of course you didn't hear anything about it because these reviewers all told they have to read off a template when they get phones from these companies.
LoL.. My God. Making reviews would be so much easier if that were true. Sadly it's illegal to do that in the US, so please do your homework before you judge. Second.. we don't do drop tests or scratch tests. This is a review over how a phone performs as presented. We have a segment called After The Buzz where we discuss how phones age, and that will be a major topic once we actually see how scratches hold up. ^JR
Pocketnow maybe its because all the reviewers sound the same, reiterating the same material while leaving out the same material...just an observation and judging is what everyone does including judging which phone to make your own. For example... how many times do i have to hear about how horrible the fingerprint scanner placing is because you are going to smudge the camera lol. I mean I've heard at least 10 times I personally think it's in an awesome spot because my index finger goes directly to the point not hard to learn its called tactile learning not a big deal. it's almost like again you guys are reading from a script or lack creativity and feel safe mentioning the same things in unison.
Waiting for the 835 would not be a waste of time to help the battery last a day of use, I see 😊 BTW great review as usual 👌 I like what LG did. It looks like a beatiful device.
I just think that it's time to step up the storage, or the 32GB will be the new 16, and we will be stuck with it for ever. Phones at this price should come with at least 64, and actually 128GB would be even better. And no, having a microsd slot doesn't cut it for me, microsd are slow,a good one is quite expensive (128GB costs 90€) and dealing with app data and where it's stored, just sucks.
Great review! You personally wish for this phone to succeed and it reflects in your admiration for it. After long we have a phone which truly harmonises form and functionality. A great benchmark for others to follow. Yes, bravo LG!
Great review! Do you know how this phone holds up for VR? I been debating on this phone or S8. I will buy a new phone in under 2 months. I have a S6 currently and the laggy software and ram management issues are making me sour on another samsung phone. I'll wait to see the S8 unveiling next week and hopefully my attitude will change on Samsung. If not, at least I know the G6 is a good alternative.
Grace UX is like Mac for me. I use Windows, Mac and Android. Even though I use Windows most of the time, my favourite OS is Mac. But then the Apple product on iOS has too little customization. For me, its like "WHAAA, YOU CANT RECORD THE SCREEN?" or "WHAAA, I CANT INSTALL NON-APPLE APRROVED APPS WITHOUT JAILBREAK"
for some people I dosent happen but always always lg phone value drops like crazy. Take the v20 it used to be really expensive and now you can buy it for 480 I think in tmobile. And it happens to every lg phone basically. And there is a reason for that. LG phones a really unreliable. if it's not the bootloop something else can break.
Ethan Chiasson They have a version that has 64gb internal memory with a hi-fi dac not available in the states, every model has sd card support (from what I have read).
Your battery stats are very similar to mine, an, IMO, battery life on this thing (albeit in the short two days I've had the device), certainly demerits the phone, if ever so slightly. For some reason, Google Play Services, Android OS, and Phone Idle are killing my standby times. I'm hoping that my particular use case is a standalone issue, but looking at your stats and how similar they are to mine, I can't see this device earning such a high score on your review.
I have a question,i know it's off the topic of the video but.....what's the name of the weather widget you guys use on your review units,it looks stunning, the one at 2:39,that one in the right corner of the lg g6's screen,I really like how clean it looks and I would really like to use it on my devices too.
As a student going back into college, who has a part time job. I pre-ordered the phone because I dont need the newest processor, as I dont use alot of power. I also tend to not use my phone for games alot. The reason I pre-ordered this phone is due to the waterproofing, the camera (I was in love with my G4 before I dropped it twice), its design language and the fact that I like LG phones.
By no means am I a Samsung fanboy, but it seems to me LG just released their version of the S7 Edge. Think about it: Water resistant IP68, Nearly no bezels, Wireless charging, glass design, and Snapdragon 820/821 (basically the same thing) with 4 GB of ram. LG is playing catch-up and honestly I don't see this doing well for them considering the premium price. Great review though Jaime!
you can list a bunch of features and say they are similar but in reality they are very different. Having an edge display hardly adds screen real estate while having an 18:9 adds much more utility.
This has less bezels than s7 and s7edge but i agree on some of the other stuff. But then again 4gb of RAM was in the g5 which came b4 the s7. And they had the 820 in the G5 and the g5 was more fluid since it didnt have touchwiz lol. You argument only makes sense for the wireless charging, ip68, and glass design.
Deepil Tiwari I agree but what about all the other features that you forgot to mention? by no means AM I saying that the LG G6 is a bad phone but it certainly resembles a slightly better version of the s7.
let's begin gaming Ever since G2, except for G5, LG's design language have always been the same, less bezels. And if you're talking about the S7 edge, LG is not following it, instead cutting costs and making out more by using older processors and compromising little things that only matters to handful of people. They are trying to recover from their G5 loss.
iPhones gone downhill after Steve Jobs and is now an overpriced piece of shit. I would rather wait for the Xiaomi MI Mix 2, the real bezelless smartphone
I am no fan of any phone and I had then all from iPhone to Samsungs and blackberrys and I'm currently using a LG stylo 2 and I am very impressed with this lg phone battery can go for more than a whole day of use and have not had any issues. Not sure what lg is doing right but I have to admit I would be willing to put my money on a higher LG phone.
3:56 I think the reason they stopped including the menu button is because websites started using the hamburger menu in their mobile layout, and it could be confusing to the user when they press the menu button and nothing happens. It was either removed as an option in the G3 or G4. Luckily you don't actually need to press the hamburger menu on most apps, and the G6 screen is narrow enough that you can swipe in from the left edge.
Great review Jaime! I thought it was a good overview of the strengths and shortcomings of the phone. I really liked all the camera samples to show what this phone can do. Makes me want to go try one soon! Cheers
ive been using my T-Mobile one and its been very sluggish. opening apps, keyboard, loading chrome, scrolling through apps. others have the same issue as well. not sure whats up.
SD821 is not outdated. It's released in oktober 2016. In real life use you will not see much difference between SD821 and SD835, except maybe in batterylife. But the price of a phone with SD835 chip will be more expensive...
Even though the G4 and G5 were flops, I've got high hopes for the G6. LG makes such great phones, but I think they're the most underrated OEM in the game.
But does it suffer from the LG bootloop plague? You know the thing that LG is getting class action sued for on the LG G4/V10? You know, that HUGE piece of news that you guys didn't cover :-p Oh yes, I went there...
Great review. I recently preordered the G6. Thought about waiting for the Galaxy S8, than heard what they will sell for. This is a premium phone priced fairly compared to the competition.
Uh no...you can't move apps or games to the SD card....and internal is way faster then SD card memory. If I upgrade my iPhone 6s+ to a iPhone 7 I can get up to 256gb...
yogosans14 ahhhh I've never been able to fill up a 32gb phone. I have a moto z and I'm able to move apps to sd but I've never needed to. Hopefully the g6 is able to do the same.
Great review Jaime Rivera! You’re my favourite reviewer on Pocketnow! I really like that you’re honest and cover everything important. Keep up the good work :)
I just got the LG G6 and it ROCKS!!!!! Thx PocketNow for helping me make an informed decision!!! The BIG DISPLAY is even better on your hand than on the videos!!! the UI is fresh, crisp and beautiful!!!! battery performance is great, even for a power user like me, where a FULL DAY ends at 9pm, from a 9am start!!! The camera is more impressive than the one on my prior daily driver, the LG G5!!!! Even though it's got a smaller megapixel count!!! About only thing I haven't found is the ability to change screen resolution!!! and even if it isn't here, rather than I haven't found it, it's an extremely minor nuance!!! Great job LG!!! this is a straight home run!!!
Hasnizam Mohamed The battery is Great!!! In fact, that was one of the three reasons I traded my G5 for the G6. The other two was the minimalistic bezels around the wonderful screen, and the third was the fact that the "Can't Live Without Now" second wide angle camera has the same 13MP sensor. In terms of the battery, I'm a POWER user and I use my phone a lot on a regular basis. I use about 2-3hrs of Google Maps while simultaneously listening to videos on RUclips via Bluetooth. I have approximately 15-25 windows open (drives my wife nuts when she needs my phone for checking something quickly) and I use about 3 hours of talk time in addition to browsing the internet for another 1 hour. After learning about possible dandrite buildup on lithium ion batteries, I don't want to charge the phone any more than I need to, so I've only had to give the phone a quick 15 minutes boost on one special day (being honest here. 😁) which was two Saturdays ago when I started my day at 6am and finished at 2am Sunday and ran my usage about 1.3 times normal! my battery was at 30% around 7pm and didn't want to risk running the battery to zero, so I charged it back up to around 60% and when I got home at 2am Sunday, it was only down to 35%. So all in all, it would've made it even if I hadn't charged it. This phone is wonderful!!! I really gave the GS8 real consideration, but I didn't get it because of two reasons. One was the accidental touches on the curved edges (I'm more of a practical guy, and getting a case for it defeats the purpose of a Big Screen in a Small phone, with the G6, I don't have a case and if it falls, I don't have to worry about a cracked screen) and the other was the smaller 3,000mAh battery, which, with the SD835 on board, may or may not have the increased battery performance to equal what my G6 is providing me. Last year's GS7 saw a lot of complaints about it's battery, and to see the Screen Real Estate increase and the battery capacity decrease, just didn't make sense to me. Did I mention this is all while running QHD+ AND Always On Display? Yup! There's only one thing that would've made this phone better, and that is if I could lower the resolution to FHD. This is the only way perhaps the GS8 might have the same battery performance as the G6, since the screen comes with display stock settings at FHD, not QHD+. But I can't say I've needed it. As I'm writing this, today I started my day at 7am and the phone is at 67% and it's already 1:30pm. I usually end my day with about 15-30% battery left at around 10pm depending on usage. All in all... I'm extremely impressed!!! I highly recommend it!!! Especially for the price. It is not cheap, it's SPOT ON!!!
Looks like a great phone and a strong contender for buying but the wide cam is a con for me because the image is so distorted I mean the segrada familia columns? But its not always shown so very good job LG finally.
The phone does not stutter now but give it a couple of months. Being a past LG G4 and current Galaxy S7 edge owner... that "no stutter at all" phrase was said about both these phones right at launch. 4 months later and they take a shit on you.
Honestly the G5 actually puts the G6 to shame in "versatility". Was never the best phone out, but did a great almost unheard of job mixing legacy features like removable battery, expandable storage, ir blaster, headphone jack, with future proof and innovative features like dual cameras, USB C, QC 3.0, always on display, laser AF+ color sensor, fingerprint sensor, etc. It was really only missing waterproofing and wireless charging, but LG took away features while it's barely a hardware upgrade on paper. The G5 basically has the same processor, ram, camera(s), resolution, software and battery life at this point.
Nice review, Jaime. Most consumers really don't pay attention to the specs side of things. As long as the device looks fashionable, more than likely they'll throw their money at it. Being a geek myself I can tell you that it was a great idea to see LG get this device on people's hands before the behemoth S8/S8+ is released. Nonetheless this device really sets the bars for LG's future, hope they can build off that.
Wow you really sound convinced and convinced me that this phone is a keeper , I heard nothing but good things about it , And by far one of your best review I seen from you . Bravo jaime 🤗 LG really created something good here Samsung will have to step up their game if this phone battery is really good LG will have a homerun with this phone .
I wish G6 had just 5.5 " 1080p display After using almost all 320-400 PPI phones and 400-580 PPI phones, I never thought I needed a 400+ PPI phone, basically its useless, a good LED or LCD phone with 350+ PPI is more than enough, this G6 with 1080p display would have given it a 400 PPI and 15-20% more battery life means screen on time of 4hr 36-45 mins from 4 hrs average and 15-20% more real life speed advantage and future proof too,
Thank you for the great video. This really did help me with my decision on purchasing the LG G6. I was not sure on this on or the S8 plus. This video made it easy for me. Please keep of the good work.
It all comes down to battery life for me. I went from the iPhone 4 to the HTC One, Google Nexus 6 (Motorola Branded) and then to the LG G4 (broke Nexus 6). The battery life on all of those android phones does not hold a candle to the iPhone 7 Plus. I'll take the iPhone off the charger at 5am and with heavy to moderate usage it'll arrive at 1% battery life around 8:30pm. Apple battery optimization is second to none and that matters most to me. I haven't missed any custom android features and that's surprised me the most. For my money, a long lasting battery and superb camera are well worth it. The LG G6 looks nice but I imagine you'll be constantly looking for an outlet.
It's been a great phone. I had a G4 and that was a great phone for me but I like the G6 form factor a lot. It's easier for me to hold, it fits into the cup holder of my truck and I like that the earphone jack has been placed on top.
Why are slide out menus in the left anyway? Wouldn't it make more sense to have them be on the right side of the screen, seeing that most people are right handed and that would make it easier to reach?
"holding a big phone is cumbersome"
but carrying two phones isn't?
I've been doing it since the Pocket PC days when a cellphone and a PDA were the way to go. I guess you get used to it. ^JR
Edward Eudave lg g6 with a screen size like that is the smallest hp size among its competitors.that y i am keen to get this hp.
wearing a scarf and trying to look metrosexual is also cumbersome.
Agreed ^JR
Pocketnow The Galaxy S8 and S8 plus will eat this device for breakfast but LG still gets an A for effort hahaha!
Mike Cox Your right hope u got 960.00 dollars for the s8... price is crazy for it.
ofthesic0133 no actually you should complain because they charge you 750€ for that phone, for that price you should get everything, period
I make phone calls, i use RUclips and some social media. Bothered by 821 or 835? Nope.
Sushil Choudhari so why dont you spend $150 on a moto device?
Sushil Choudhari What I basically do with my 6s Plus. I barely play any games on the damn thing lmao.
Get the Moto X 2015
Sushil Choudhari you will no see any difference.
even latest hd games will work without difference.
Sushil Choudhari that what most of users due
This is one phone that doesn't waste space.
BURN! U ULTRA!
*cough* iPhone 7 *cough*
Muncha You have probably never seen an iPhone from the inside and out, lol
Brad Fortin Really, then why does it have even bigger bezels than my Sony(with stereo ff speakers and headphone jack)?
Apples really wastes space too. Just to make it 0.1mm thinner each generation.

These Samsung fanboys on LG videos literally make the iPhone fanboys seem like saints.
Sammy? Is that your name? Or do I sense fanboy overkill?
Really man? You're pushing yourself down a deeper hole of embarrassment. Yes, I have used the word SENSE. Please, do a favor to yourself and spew your hate on some other LG video - there are plenty.
Samsung fanboys on Apple videos are the worst.
that's because some people aren't stupid and know quality and beauty in one. don't play those games.
You seem worked up. Maybe you are trying to cover up for your unneeded meddling with that smiley at the end. When you don't care, you don't even notice. You noticed and so you care. Anyway, stop wasting your time and my time.
I'M BUYING IT SORRY LG HATERS I'M SOLD
Lathaniel Jordan I'm happy for you but I highly suggest you to wait for the s8 so you can compare both of them
neitherlink I agree
Jesus Beltran of course, all picked them up in private jet
As am I.. All I hear is Hate. Bootloop this! Bootloop that! Cry me a river..
Finally, an LG phone that can recommend a lot. SD821 is already fast enough for daily usage.
saifultrains I know right. Idk why people keep bitching about the G6 because of SD 821. It's already fast enough for daily usage.
Shellyman Vol.2 yo
Shellyman Vol.2 exactly. but honestly as soon as the samsung galaxy s8 comes out, all those samsung fanboys are gonna all over trashing lg for having a like 2% worse processor. some people just don't know when to shut up.
In Asia, once you hear 'Samsung', it's a good phone. But once you hear 'LG', it's been referred to..... If you know what Asian means.
saifultrains yes he definitely does the job well. Anything more than that is just an extra.
still have mine since 2017. performance is still good but the battery is not that great anymore, it just gives me about 3 to 4 screen-on time. it's a great phone, and i'm glad i bought it.
Pre-ordered mine today!! I can't wait!! 😃
amazing looking phone and amazing review! LG G6 brings the heat!

Your suggestion is absolutely in place. I went to the store just to have a glance at it and fell in love... bought it on the spot. It feels amazing.
Great review. That phone has an amazing camera.
Jaime, just watching again the g6 review and wanted to thank you so much for mentioning front facing stereo speakers. We need more of y'all to push that thought. Thanks
this phone is More than awesomeeeeee!!! The best of 2017
2016* Here fixed that for you
BloodFlow HigH I got my LG G6 on Thursday last week it's awesome
Not even 2016. A good phone but it is lacking some key features.
pocketnow is now my favorite RUclips channel
thanks to the quality and the great reviews.
any way I'd like you to look for any problems with the latest LG phones
like the constant rebooting or dying problems that occurred on previous flagships of LG
Thanks! And, well.. I can't say any of our units has had bootloop issues ^JR
Pocketnow we had two LG G3's and a G4 . only one phone of these got the problem and it was not the G4. maybe mention if you didn't get it in the after the buzz video. other than that enjoy it
I do hope this LG G6 only sets up a bait for Samsung and Apple to release their flagships THEN release an LG G6 Plus with Snapdragon 835 + 6GB RAM + 64GB storage + higher capacity battery, all at that screen size and ratio. That would be the best phone of 2017!
Dan Calderon yeah i hope so
Dan Calderon thats the lg v30 you are talking about ;)
Dan Calderon There's talk the upcoming LG V30 will have a 835, plus 6 GB of RAM.
That's a problem. LG V series were not as popular as the G series though. I just hope they have the same killer looks. I had the V10 and the quad DAC is just pure magic.
I hope they make the same hardware excellence with better marketing with their V30. Else, they should've sticked with the G series line.
hey! how the V10 performs today?? does it suffer from bootloop or not?? and about the DAC it is good?
This video literally made up my mind to get my LG G6!! Your reviews rock!! Thank you!
well both Galaxy S8 phones are to be "edge" versions so I'm going with the LG G6. I currently have the S7 and don't want to be spoon fed the Edge of the 8's...
SlinkyTek HD personally I don't like edge to edge phone. I'm sticking with my huawei mate 9.
SlinkyTek HD If you have the S7 then there's no need to upgrade in the first place.
SlinkyTek HD If you have the S7 then there's no need to upgrade in the first place.
SN42 you are right
my note 7 is a beast, I can pull up a bunch of apps in a menu with a simple swipe from the edge on any page. Its very convenient and beautiful.
Awesome review of an awesome product. Bravo LG.
I have to point out that this phone was released *one month* before the snapdragon 835 so they had to use the snapdragon 821, and *LOOK AT THE PRICE OF THIS PHONE NOW!!!* I would say that $450 is great for a phone like this.
the best thing about this phone is its build quality, I don't know how many times I have dropped mine but you would't tell.
5:45 flash in daylight is weirdest thing i have ever seen
RICKY SEKHON Weirder than midget porn?
i have always been a fan of pocketnow. i have been following it because of Micheal Fisher and Jaime Rivera. I really like how Jaime deliver the dialog in every mobile phone review. What i also like that how relevant this dialogs are relevant to the video background. The video playback and the backgrounds choosen for the video is very nice. Finally what matter is the review, and its always been nice to listen and the get the reviews.
Is it just me or does the intro music sound different like every time?
Yeah. It's the pitch I think.
Currently have a iPhone 6 and I am really interested in the LGG6 I want it so bad
watching this on a g6!! 😀😀
YESSS ! WHY IS NOBODY TALKING ABOUT THIS?!
LoL..
I LOVE my LG G6!!! I can't believe the quality of it and the performance it delivers!
I might consider this if I didn't already have an axon 7
Choice of words and the acting are so obvious. A review from a fanatic indeed.
🤔 this or S8.. decisions, decisions.
Geoff S this...Samsung has shit laggy software
I feel your pain
Geoff S LG G6 DUDE!!!
iPhone 8...
Tim Sutton-Brand 😂
Wow! The photos blew me away!!
way better phone than the HTC Ultra failure
I'm switching from the Samsung s6 to lg g6, my phone is out for delivery now!I can't wait to give it a try!
6 gb and 64gb it would be perfect!!
Waiting for the 835 would not be a waste of time to help the battery last a day of use, I see 😊
BTW great review as usual 👌
I like what LG did.
Grace UX is not really laggy for me on Note 5 (same thing as S6 but larger display). Do you have Grace UX? It replaced TouchWiz.
Buizel Productions Completely agree. Nougat combined with Grace UX is amazing. I'd even go as far as to say Samsung has nice software these days.
Owned a black 32GB LG G6 for a few months. Best phone I’ve had. Highly recommend
LG G6 is the best phone ever made
Whatever.
Would've been cool last year, too bad it's been there done that in 2017
for some people I dosent happen but always always lg phone value drops like crazy. Take the v20 it used to be really expensive and now you can buy it for 480 I think in tmobile. And it happens to every lg phone basically. And there is a reason for that. LG phones a really unreliable. if it's not the bootloop something else can break.
SmoothM okay..I have the V10, and your comment makes zero sense. it ALMOST bootlooped again.. it either does or doesn't not almost
the way you review stuff is amazing. Thanks for this Mr. Jaime Rivera 💙✨
I refuse to buy this because the 64gb version with hq dac is not available in the us. I hate when companies do this sort of thing.
ted baylis imagine being EU FeelsBadMan
SD card?
Ethan Chiasson They have a version that has 64gb internal memory with a hi-fi dac not available in the states, every model has sd card support (from what I have read).
ted baylis yes ino I hate that too but we get wireless charging nthey don't. but I prefer the DAC I don't mind the 32g I have fast 256 micro SD card
those wide camera shots look great. Nice review Jaime!
If only it could work with Samsung Pay lol...oh and a S-Pen....still using my Note 5
This video really helped me solidify my decision to choose and buy LG G6.
Thanks, guys.
Very good review, nice and clear voice, concise and HD. Thank you. Getting mine in a cccouple of days.... Cant wait
Hey Jaime!
Hey man! ^JR
Met Dee LG G3 had the 1st QHD display in the business. I don't know who's catching up.
I got my LG G6 on Thursday last week it's awesome I gave my wife my old S7 edge
It's too bad that a great phone line this will be overshadowed by the Galaxy S8 and the next iPhone (whatever they'll be called)
Jonas Gamao don't be so sure. Samsung needs to do better in memory and power management! They have yet to deliver excellence in either!
Its even worse that you people are always so sure about that
Jonas Gamao it won't be overshadowed by the iPhone as that won't come out till next October November time. but yes the Galaxy will prove tough to beat
Both of those phones will have pressure sensitive AMOLED displays so I agree.
iPhones gone downhill after Steve Jobs and is now an overpriced piece of shit.
Not sure what lg is doing right but I have to admit I would be willing to put my money on a higher LG phone.
bravo LG.
Jaime "Sausage Fingers" Rivera
Hopeless Wanderer lol really mean
Hopeless Wanderer take this W bruh. savage!
Literally the only positive review of this phone that I've seen.
Lol guys just ignored the troller and Lg haters because they are so jealous with the new awesome lg g6
No, and it doesn't explode either.
Thats why i went with the s8 because i cant risk having another bootloop issue.
Nice review Jaime. Great stuff never heard you do a review with such passion.
u complain about Samsung's software but don't about this obviously inferior one. wtf!?
Hey, that's pretty good preference
Great review. I recently preordered the G6. Thought about waiting for the Galaxy S8, than heard what they will sell for. This is a premium phone priced fairly compared to the competition.
I would buy it but dumb lg only made 32 as the only option....the S8 will have 64gb as standard..
yogosans14 sd cards aren't that expensive and much better than on board memory if phone breaks.
Uh no...you can't move apps or games to the SD card....and internal is way faster then SD card memory. If I upgrade my iPhone 6s+ to a iPhone 7 I can get up to 256gb...
yogosans14 if you really wanted to buy it 32 gb wouldn't be a problem
yogosans14 ahhhh I've never been able to fill up a 32gb phone. I have a moto z and I'm able to move apps to sd but I've never needed to. Hopefully the g6 is able to do the same.
yogosans14 You can move apps and games to your SD card...
Great review Jaime Rivera! You’re my favourite reviewer on Pocketnow! I really like that you’re honest and cover everything important. Keep up the good work :)
Yay early crowd!!!
already got it. it's too beautiful. wide angles is one of the best things. I might be using my action camera less now.
I just got the LG G6 a few days ago. I use it heavy social media all day. At 50 procent brightnes. Battery is amazing
I'm getting mine in the mail. So excited!
Great job LG!!! this is a straight home run!!!
integrazimmy after 2 weeks how's the battery?
It is not cheap, it's SPOT ON!!!
integrazimmy thanks for the reply. It seems like a good phone! 😀
And I am a hardcore android user and lover...my only iPhone was the iPhone 4 back in 2010...I know what I'm talking about when it comes to android.
Probably gonna get it! Waiting for the S8 Review!
Already have 2 cases for the LG G6. The device is much smaller than I thought and I've always used large devices. Hopefully it'll ship this week.
I'm sold. I saw it at the store the other day and I was in love. glad to hear the performance is great. hopefully battery is better than expected
RudeandNotGinger1 how is it so far?
Great review man...great outdoor work ....can't wait to try it firsthand, once its available in my country.
Wow you really sound convinced and convinced me that this phone is a keeper , I heard nothing but good things about it , And by far one of your best review I seen from you . Bravo jaime 🤗
LG really created something good here Samsung will have to step up their game if this phone battery is really good LG will have a homerun with this phone .
Hardware like this makes me wish Google still offered Google Play Edition devices. Stock Nougat would be amazing on this hardware. 😍😍
I wish G6 had just 5.5 " 1080p display
After using almost all 320-400 PPI phones and 400-580 PPI phones, I never thought I needed a 400+ PPI phone, basically its useless, a good LED or LCD phone with 350+ PPI is more than enough, this G6 with 1080p display would have given it a 400 PPI and 15-20% more battery life means screen on time of 4hr 36-45 mins from 4 hrs average and 15-20% more real life speed advantage and future proof too,
Thank you for the great video. This really did help me with my decision on purchasing the LG G6. I was not sure on this on or the S8 plus. This video made it easy for me. Please keep of the good work.
LG has done good with this one. Now I have to decide between this and the S8
Don't call it a comeback! Well done LG. I may very well be back to the G series finally. My last was the G2.
Jaime, you can hold down the square button to use it as a menu button!
So exited for LG G6 vs Samsung Galaxy S8!
Thanks for the review. I was looking at this phone today and I think you have helped me with my decision.
Wow man, this was a good review. :) You make great vids and I keep on giving them thumbs up. Keep up the hard work Jaime.
Thanks! ^JR
@ 4:03 you can use the switch between app button when you hold on it to get a the list command
I will get this in 2018, my LG G3 is still working fine
Got this yesterday and ROGER's told me I'm the first person to get the LG G6 in Moncton New Brunswick
A fair & over all balanced review.
