He’s the future face of the Mets
You can tell, he is already becoming the perfect example for the younger, non-english speaking players on this team, (figuratively and literally - Acuna looking up at him as he does this interview, without use of a translator) of being able to learn a new language, by you simply wanting it enough. We are very proud of you Francisco, in more ways than one!!!
I noticed he even influenced some of the vets because I see marte speaking English in interviews now too.

Very impressive that his English has come so far in such a short time while he's also trying to play in the big leagues. It speaks to his ability to handle the mental side of the game.

People that learn English when they don't have to motivates me so much more to continue to learn Spanish to share the effort. That's what I love about baseball: doesn't matter what language you speak, baseball is universal
