    One of the best tutorial videos I've watched. Great use of multiple tools. Definitely feeling confident now to go out and work on my own only wish I had a lift! lol

    Only issue with THIS VERY INFORMATIVE video...music volume is a bit too high. Your voice is loud enough for sure. But music volume takes something away. I just changed both lower ball joints on my Taco because of this video. Nice job!

      I did my time there too my friend, and yes, this thing is a game changer, and surprisingly not as expensive as I thought they were, if you have the ceiling height and slab thickness...

    Great video. Your a riot. I’ve done this before and am doing it again. The problem I find up here in NH. The universal kits at the store skip the correct size for de-installation. The nearest size is tight and i had to sand the inside of the tube and the outside of the MOOG ball joint hat. Until i had clearance. Took the joy out some.

    thanks for the video, I just replaces my front bearings and the ball joints are next. I'm beginning to think the bad ball joint could have effected the bearings, or maybe the other way around. Well 200 k on my 2007 Tacoma probably had a lot to do with it. lol.

    Cants you just hammer the bottom part of the Knuckle off if you don’t have a pickle fork that will work ?????

    • @joyofwrenching
      @joyofwrenching  6 месяцев назад +2

      you can try it, but in my experience, and as I try to show here, they are stuck on so well, that only a tool like the pickle fork or ball joint separator can get them apart.

    How does this method work for a 4wd Tacoma? Wouldn't the axle impede the hub from being swung out of the way and be in the way of the ball joint press?

    • @joyofwrenching
      @joyofwrenching  2 месяца назад +1

      @@deththekid02 the axles have a lot of range of motion, so once out of the spindle you can tie them out of your way

    • @deththekid02
      @deththekid02 2 месяца назад

      @@joyofwrenching so the axle would need to be removed from the spindle/hub?
