for those not in the us or canada if your looking for an equivalent pc the main min specs to look out for are ryzen 5 apu like the 5600u, 5700g, 5600g, 7530u, 7535u. and ram 16gbs is probably the lowest you would want and with the 5000 series ddr4 ram is really cheap. 7000 series uses ddr5 so that would probably put the total over 600.
As a PC gamer lookingat building a golfing Simulator I find it hilarious that the Gaming PC is the sticking point for golfers. $600 on a gaming PC vs $600 on a budget garmin radar. I've seen builds where people "save money" by using $1000 ipads. Absoluetly hilarious where people try to save money.
The projector, screen, sensor and software are going to run you thousands of dollars. Spend like $800 or something to get a PC with a dedicated graphics card. Skimping this much on the PC doesn't make a lot of sense in my opinion. It can run the software, so that's a cool thing to note. But yeah. There's a PC on bestbuy right now that has a GTX 1660 Super graphics card and i3-13100F CPU for $600 that will kick the snot out of this thing. Just saying. I did like the video btw.
@@monkeysezbegood Even still you can build a PC with used parts for the same price that'll be much better. It's fine if you want a cheap, no-fuss PC that will run the software.
yes!! Thank you!!!! To build a very capable PC these days is not going to break the bank!!!!!. Im guessing that lil cute PC came with Norton Virus and Spamware installer set to initiate on startup too right? If you have the capabilitites of having a dedicated golf simulator room in your house. Im pretty sure you can afford a decent PC and not have to buy a cheeseburger sized PC LOL Did you supersize that PC or is that just the regular?
Not that simple like you are saying. Maybe there is so much money in the pot and you already exhausted it for the rest you can't magically come up with an extra $800+ for the better comp. Also you don't have to spend thousands on a projector and screen you can do with crappies projector and a photo drop cloth just to be able to aim at something but watch your shots on a 65" TV set up beside your shooting area. Same reason I havnt went to GSPRO because I don't have the extra $1000 for comp and $400+ for GSPRO software so I'm stuck with Ipad and free E6 courses for now
Did you try one of the new version 4 courses? That's what blew up my original computer I was using strictly for sim. Forced me to upgrade. Probably didn't need nearly as much as what I went with, but wanted to build in some future proofing :-).
Hi just watched this today. I have recently purchased a Rapsodo MLM2 Pro. Does the AMR5 work with it? Im also interested in a projector whether short throw or floor mounted that you might recommend. TIA.

Great video! I just received the same computer, set it up windows 11 pro and am having a challenge keeping the R10 connected. I am trying to connect via Bluetooth. As a matter of fact, the R 10 will connect and then about 10 seconds later unconnected. Any help from you and your community would be great! Any trouble shooting tips? Thanks.
Not sure but the r10 could be trying to reconnect to the device you would normally have it connected to. May need to “forget” it on the other device. I just ordered this computer based off of this video, please let me know if it works.

Hey man before I order one can you check some of the new courses and post a video or just respond and let me know if it runs them. Appreciate it and great content!
None in specific just being reading that the new ones may not work. Maybe just a sales pitch to buy an expensive one. I am budget friendly, just trying to decide if this will be sufficient enough and get the job done. I
Message me on the Roxor Golf website. I have a new mini pc coming out if you want to be the first one. Should be under $400 and better than the one in the video.

@@danieljurado7461 not to sure what the FPS is. I just know it works good enough for me. Also have been playing courses on E6 connect
