    Brilliant Summary of the Situation…Medicare disqualifies me from any coupons. Last month due to Lilly pricing glitch I had to pay $1277.99 for 4 ZepBound Pens (still worth every penny). With research showing Cardiovascular Benefits with use of GLPs I am hoping that Medicare will see the benefits of PREVENTION rather than spending $$’s REACTING to Heart Disease/Stroke/Diabetes related to Obesity. Thank You again Dr for keeping us informed.

      They definitely move at the speed of government. Thank you for your kind words on the video, I appreciate it!

      I'll be in the same boat later this summer. I don't even want to sign up for Medicare but if I don't, I'll be penalized later for life. What a trick bag they've put us in! It's tantamount to age discrimination, in mho.

    I just watched all five of your videos. I started this adventure 12/20/24 at 302 lbs. I am now 245. I'm a 56 year old 6'3" male. I've been using Zepbound and it has been a fantastic solution for me. Since taking it my A1C has dropped from 6.1 to under 5.6. Wish I had seen your videos before starting because the guidance is excellent and would have helped me in some areas. I am on the 10.0 mg now. I've been on that dose for a month and opted to go for another month on the 10.0 mg before stepping up to the 12.5 mg. I will likely level off there. At least that's my plan. I've been up around 300 lbs for so long, friends hardly recognize me. It's been great! Best of luck to everyone and thank you again for the great videos.

      12/20/24 that was just a week ago. You must mean 2023 or 2022?

    You mentioned you have to have an ICD code of diabetes to use the zepbound savings card. I think you misspoke and mean mounjaro.

      Yes, sorry. It requires an obesity code. I'm getting scripts kick back to me for lack of the diagnosis code on zepound.
      Unfortunately RUclips does not allow me to edit the video as far as I know.

      @@EmergeForMe Glad this comment was posted as I paused and listened to what you said about Zepbound requiring a Diabetes diagnosis. You can pin this comment so that viewers can catch this more easily. This series is easy to follow...happy to have found you! xx

    I started Zepbound several months ago and I needed an ICD-10 of obesity, not diabetes (I don’t have it) in order to use the company discount. My insurance plan covers no GLP1s.

    Can you tell us which compounding companies are providing good quality FDA approved versions of semaglutide or tirzepatide?
    Great content!

    If your reasons for the high cost are true, why are these drugs much less expensive in Europe?

    • @EmergeForMe
      @EmergeForMe  10 месяцев назад +1

      Europe is not a free market. They have regulations on pricing and if the companies want access to that market, they have to follow the allowed pricing model.

      Thank you for the link and I did not mean to imply your information was inaccurate. I recently listened to podcast “Pivot” and they discussed the lower prices in Europe.

    I have to be transparent. I will have to cut what I’m putting in my 401 and cut my health insurance just to put my money into HSA to now pay out of pocket for tirzepatide. It’s to expensive and lifesaving
