"Sick" Sentry 16V1T-B, Full Attack: Petersburg, Indiana (Pike Co. Tornado Siren Test, HD)

This is a monthly test of Pike County's Weather Warning System. Tests are usually conducted on the first Friday of the month at 12 Noon EST (11:00 CST). With the exclusion of Petersburg's three Whelen 2750s, sirens in Pike County are controlled by, I believe, the central dispatch and run a three minute attack cycle.
This siren is located at Prides Creek Lake near Petersburg, Indiana. It was installed about a year ago under a grant. The last I heard this siren (before the 2750 went off in August) I noticed that this siren sounded much more lower pitched than back in April. This is the clearest sounding siren you can hear in my "16V1T-B Ambience" video I posted a while back and it sounded very great. Now, for some reason it sounds lower pitched than it usually is.

That (sick) Sentry 16V1T-B sounds freaking scary in attack mode! It mostly sounds like (I think) electronic siren in Germany.

Yea it does sound like a Hörmann lmao. They warble due to having 2 very similar pitchces (415/425Hz). This has 2 8 port rotors that spin at slightly different speeds causing the warble

Ahh good ol ESC-864 Wail tone. That has to be my favourite wail tone out of all of them. And this sentry actually sounds pretty cool in Attack mode now lol

I tried doing an ambience one time in March and this siren completely failed, the others worked though.
It sounds like a 10/12 port siren at 5:47 and then a 9/12 at 5:51 while winding down.
Sentry is notorious for picking strange row port ratios in their dual tone sirens. Often they sound strange like this

Such a innocent sentry 16v1tb the sad thing is that there wasn't any other sirens around to be sick and loud enough to replace it.

There is no battery's in those, they run off Central AC Power converted into DC, then thrown into the motor's..
HawkEyes Moments 16V1T-Bs have batteries. This one has a battery with a dead cell.

Ct Teal I'll never forget that stormy night.... I was walking home and it was passed 6 so I got really scared. I called my sister and she said to hurry home. I fricken turned into a racing car, I have never ran that fast in my life. The sirens got louder and louder. There was my friends dashing down the road too, some other strangers passed me. My friend caught up to me and gasped "Silent Hill" I've heard it before, but never experience, only a couple of houses away from home, no speaking siren. Just the silent hills screech. I finally got home and still sat out side for some reason.
