At the height of the turbo era in F1 this engine was making close to 1500hp from 1.5 liters in qualifying spec. Nearly 1000hp per liter! It ran around 80 psi of boost and needed special fuel and injectors (gelled toluene).

That's a shame. It's a fucking beast. My dad's boss has one but he's getting older and he doesn't run it as much these days. Last time I saw that car run I was a kid, and man it was amazing. He ran it in vintage racecar events, on the straights he overtook everyone but they caught him up in the corners lol
