In my family or society, we are not even allowed to touch food without washing our hands... In our school, all students first rush out to wash hands, during lunch break, before eating the food. We used to get serious scolding for trying to eat without washing our hands. That's why even in restaurants in India, you will always see wash basins nearby.

Great Vlog on road side breakfast shop. I love his passion, back when I was in India there used to be an old lady that sells steam idlis & great vada. I used to eat at least twice a week at her shop. At that time the price of four idlis was ₹5 😂, can't beat that. Now this could be one your go to breakfast shop.
For me as north Indian roti/ puri sabzi , xole, curd n hot zalebi is best brkfast ever ...not fogetting masala omellate , chai n among fruits banana , orange n mango ...yumm

In a pan add oil , when hot add rai , jeera , green chillies , diced onions , fry till translucent add haldi fry for a minute . Add the poha , add salt , sugar and lime juice, cook for two minutes , serve . Sprinkle coriander . Fried groundnuts is optional

The classic method of having Idli & Vada is dipping, engulfing or drowning it in Sambhar, till the idli or Vada soaks the Sambhar within itself. Top it up with a spoonful of Sambhar and Coconut Chutney, after every bite. Am sure, you will find it more delicious, then. 😊

The classic method of having Idli & Vada is dipping, engulfing or drowning it in Sambhar, till the idli or Vada soaks the Sambhar within itself. Top it up with a spoonful of Sambhar and Coconut Chutney, after every bite. Am sure, you will find it more delicious, then. 😊

Man was just a salesman lol! A good one at that! I think South Indian food makes for the best breakfast too...but this is not really any kind of Goan breakfast lol! Goans love their non-veg...so stuff like their potato chops, poi with mince, ros omlette etc are kind of what you should check out!
