@@tripgames_ yeah. I believe they also call it Souls-like nowadays. Idk, it seems to me that this kinda creator just want to farm views by adding unrelated games to their list lmao Im really surprised they include a game called wukong in a JRPG list xD

Oh man, the entire lineup is looking amazing, every game have something interesting to offer that I would love to experience, if I need to pick one I would definitely get vision of mana.... Maybe 2023 was huge for gaming, but the 2024 does not look like a lazy year at all!
Hints for pronouncing “eiyuden”: Japanese “e” is always pronounced like “eh”, and “i” is always pronounced as “ee” as in “wheel”, so if you put “eh” and “ii” together and it really fast, it sounds like “ay” as in “bay”. So, the way to say the title is “ay-yu-den”. Happy new year!
Dragon's Dogma 2 and Eiyuden Chronicles are definitely at the top of my list. Its going to be hard to choose if they happen to release around the same time.
@@D71219ONEThe combat, the party system and the leveling system, none of those felt like a western rpg to me other than the graphical direction of the game and medieval setting. Look at Trials of Mana gameplay it's very similar except for the art style.

Also those who backed the game are lucky to get a dlc character an the winner of the art contest character will be in the game also the pets so it is a game I highly recommend
Grandblue Fantasy Relink is absolutely amazing. After following this game for years, I can't believe they actually finished it and made it so amazing! Next, Dragon's Dogma 2. I never thought of the 1st game or this upcoming game as a JRPG. Dragon's Dogma 1 was unique in playstyle, but it did look Western to me. So can a game be called a JRPG simply because it's made in Japan? Or is a JRPG a game in a unique artistic and gameplay style? I'm not sure now. BTW great video TTL.
Duet Night Abyss is my fav game that’s on the not too distant horizon. It wasn’t featured in this video but it looks incredible. Also excited for Azur Promilia
All I needed to was GBF Relink was your most anticipated and I couldn't smash the like and sub buttons hard or fast enough. Great video overall too! Though I was a little sad at the lack of the new Shiren game being in the list. But admittedly I am a Mystery Dungeon and specifically s Shiren fnaboy.
Granblue is going to be waay too fun. I feel liike it's one of those games that's going to get a 7/10 lol cause that's how this industry works. But ppl will love it at 90-95
I like Persona 4 the best. It's about confronting and accepting your inner demons (Persona). It's much more light hearted and the power of friendship is strong in this series. The characters are memorable, the subject matter of your party and social links were controversial at that time. The reason this one is more light hearted and the death count is fewest among the Persona series. After the dark and depressing theme of P3, they switch gears to later releases. Won't be surprised in P6 to go back to that.
Cool vid, b really think you're reaching putting Black Myth Wukong as a JRPG. It's a Chinese soulslike/hack n slash. Lost Soul Aside definitely won't be releasing in 2024 either, nor is it a JRPG
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is my most anticipated game of the beginning of the year, I will undoubtedly play Persona 3 Reload which is the Remake of my favorite Persona and Dragon's Dogma 2 and Grand Blue Relink which promise to be excellent RPGs, but the Yakuza series I grew up with it from the PS2 to this day, I haven't missed a single game and Infinite Wealth is promising to finally bring Kiryu's arc to a complete conclusion.
I think I’m most excited for project mugen, but I’m not sure if I have enough time and motivation to play a fourth gachagame 😅 I will at least try it out, let’s see!
Bit confused by your definition of jrpg. You have games like dragons dogma 2, which doesn't have the typical jrpg gameplay, but does come from a japanese developer. You have games like Zenless Zero, which look kindof anime like but aren't from a japanese developer. And you even have games like Black Myth Wukong, which doesn't have jrpg gameplay, doesn't have an anime look and isn't from a japanese developer.
I'm most looking forward to Project mugen in the first place the announcement is impressive, if it won't be a flop like ToF it will be the successor to genshin, 7ds is also nice graphics. Visions of mana I haven't seen this game honestly, but it's also fun for zzz, I'm also looking forward to it because of the honkai star rail is boring
People still complaining "anime games" are clone of Genshin, but they don't remember that Genshin is a clone of Zelda BOTW, and "anime" vibe isn't something came from Genshin
Literally dropping a huge spoiler for a big game with no warning for absolutely no reason when it wasn’t necessary ensures this was not only the first but the last video of yours I’ll ever watch.
I'm looking forward to Unicorn Overlord I do have a question you've said megami tensei instead of Shin megami tensei I wanted to know if you knew how to pronounce the whole thing no disrespect or anything just wanted to know
I've to say Persona 3 Reload. Never played the original but loved Persona 4 and 5. And this one it's kinda special, for the first time ever a Persona game will be released with my mother language included. But probably I'm gonna play all the other games in this list eventually.
Just a correction: Zenless Zone Zero is nothing like Genshin as it's more similar to Honkai Impact 3rd in that regard. It's not open world rpg but a dungeon crawler
The Legend of Heroes: Trails into Daybreak, should. Be on your list imo. Also there is nothing JRPG about Wu Kong. It's soul-like and it's not even made in Japan. Elden Ring is more JRPG than Wu Kong. And the expansion is next year.
So many gacha games to play, so little time. Looking forward to the new Mana, seems more traditional and I miss those. I found SagaFrontier 2 to have such an epic story line but I doubt that's gonna be easy to replicate, so we'll see.
Metaphor battle system is pretty much kuro no kiseki system . You can play action or turn based. I like this system so i'm quite hype even more when i finish megami V not long ago
this "JRPG" term... really doesnt translate well into games that have zero context or systems influenced by JRPGs... Black Myth isnt a JRPG its a soulslike... though i guess Soulslike are considered a JRPG subgenre
Ive never considered soulslike jrpgs. They are action rpgs imo. If you want to get technical sure they are japanese made rpgs, but ive never thought thats what made a jrpg.

Legend of heroes: Trail through daybreak and persona 3 reload
February. And Unicorn Overlord.
dude you forget like a dragon infinite wealth
Sword of Convallaria, hopefully
Wuthering Waves and project Mugen tbh. They both look amazing to play from what we've seen so far
Black myth wukong, Zenless Zone Zero, and Project Mugen are all Chinese, not Japanese; and 7DSO is Korean
Well made video, thanks for the timestamps and for the names in the description. Subscribed!
Wukong is nowhere near JRPG, not even turn based nor based on J xD
Yea I see that as a Action game, but it seem like everything is considered a rpg now

Blue Protocol got shut down now 😢
Good video! Fun to see what kinda games are coming out! Personally im the most hyped for Project mugen, it just looks so cool.
Like a dragon: infinite wealth comes out before granblue actually, you forgot to mention that title
I subbed because I like JRPGs and RUclipsrs who use chapters.
Thanks a million for your support and welcome to the family!
Literally looking forward to ALL of these!
Also Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D remake and Dragon Quest 12 are coming soon- i dunno if theyre confirmed for 2024 but still keep an eye out
I'm most excited for your return, king.
Ayyye I appreciate it! Things have been going surprisingly well since I started uploading again haha. Idk why but no complaints out of me
I discovered many beautiful games that I didn't know. Thank you for the video.❣
Dragon's Dogma 2 and Eiyuden Chronicles are definitely at the top of my list. Its going to be hard to choose if they happen to release around the same time.
In my book, Dragon’s Dogma is 100% a Western RPG that is developed in Japan. Nothing about it says JRPG to me.

It is sad that the scenario writer, Yoshitaka Murayama, passed away this month.

Im hyped for Eiyuden chronicle hundred heroes. But you forget the Tatic JRPG Unicorn overlord Release Date on March 8th.

Thank you for your time and feedback! That slipped my mind I’ll and I’ll be sure to include it in the next video of this type.
Trails through Daybreak is my #1 most anticipated, everything else is in line after that. #2 would be Like a Dragon Infinite Wealth.
Same brother
I would never normally even consider jp only audio but goblin slayer nightmare feast looks to be amazing, another triangle strategy style srpg
Best video nd excellent explain 👏 thank you
I am surprised Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth is not on this list.
that blue protocol sure taking its time to come out....
Thanks for the big spoiler about Zack. I wasnt prepared for that
Thanks for the video!
Duet Night Abyss is my fav game that’s on the not too distant horizon. It wasn’t featured in this video but it looks incredible. Also excited for Azur Promilia
All these games look dope af!
like a dragon infinite wealth and Deca police also are amazing
eiyuden chronicles really looks like suikoden 1 and 2 from playstation 1...make me nostalgic
Not going lie metaphor: refantazio look kinda interesting. The new action/turn based battle system sounds really cool and original sign me up.
I suggest looking up Yakuza like a dragon infinite wealth. Kinda crazy to me that it's being slept on.
Arknights: Endfield is a game im looking forward to but we only have a tech test in january and no release date, still excited to try the test.
Saying any Asian rpg game must be Japanese is like saying all black people are from Nigeria, it’s both wrong and dumb
