Hi Dr. Dray, I'm on Epiduo and it doesn't sting at all until AFTER I put on an occlusive. I started Epiduo after having no irritation from TheOrdinary retinol 1%. I wash my face with with Cerave Hydrating Cleanser-->No.7 Radiant Results Revitalising toning water-->Meishoku Ceracolla Gel-->Epiduo-->Neutrogena HydroBoost Gel Cream-->Occlusive (I have tried many since this is the stage where my skin would burn) I've used Cerave Baume Hydratant, Cetraben, superdrug aqueous cream, Eucerin face replenishing cream, Vaseline Petrolium Jelly. All of them make my face burn. I used to put occlusives on when I used non-prescription retinols and they never caused any irritation. All the products are fragrance free. The glycerine, panthenol, cholesterol, ceramides on the first 2 products should build up my skin barrier and protect from direct Epiduo...I wait few minutes in between each step and my skin doesn't burn at all after I apply Epiduo (tingles a bit when I put on Neutrogena Gel Cream) but full on burns, itches and stings when I put on the occlusives . I've tried all these products before Epiduo and they never irritated before. I thought the water content on the Hydroboost might take the retinoic acid deeper in the skin but I have used the occlusive without Hydroboost in the routine and it still burned...also, I have a Niacinamide sensitivity....I've once had to leave the Epiduo on the skin without topping up with hydroboost or occlussive for 10 minutes and it didn't sting the whole time but started the moment I put on the occlusive..Should I just forgo topping up with an occlusive? I'm too scared of drying out my skin and breaking the barrier.

My granddaughters 12 and 15 have asked for face wash & moisturizer for Christmas, any recommendations? would inkey list be a good one? They have normal skin, no acne and do not wear makeup. maybe a video for teens 💟☮️
The inkey list only has the salicylic acid cleanser which is for acne. Recently I got the La Roche Posay Toleriane cleanser and it's pretty good, the size is 13 ounces. If not, the cerave cleansers at the drugstore are also pretty good options

Mmm conflicting statements from previous videos, can you please address this? It’s hard to trust when you hate a product one video, then rave about the same product in the next.
Sometimes I find it so overwhelming trying to figure out how to incorporate all these different products, especially when using Retin-A (0.025%). I feel like I don't really need a lot of these products since I am using Retin-A. The more I try to use, the more irritation I experience. My skin has become so sensitive. You really have to be careful adding extra products when using Retin-A. I enjoy trying new products, but I'm at the point where I'm afraid to try anything new for fear of more irritation.
I liked your IG post this morning. I have tried the collagen booster I liked the texture, also the retinol it didn't irritate or anything. I think I need to use them for longer periods than I did.
Dr. Dray, in your other video you said the Alpha Arbutin did nothing and that it did not brighten your face at all. You said you did not see any difference. Why would you recommend it ? I’ve always loved your videos and trusted your recommendations.
I think it’s important to make a distinction when she’s talking about a product based on its ingredients/formulation/offerings VS her personal consumer experience. After all, the product aligns with her philosophy of choosing simple and affordable products and it has an ingredient w science behind it. It would make sense that she recommends it despite not working for her. She may not have the same skin conditions or issues as someone who will find this product effective. The science is there, so it could work for others, but it didn’t for her given her own specific skin conditions. I’m sure there have been times she would recommend something that worked for her and it would not work for others. Goes both ways. What I find important is she talks about the product straightforwardly given her expertise. But she can’t exactly predict if it’ll work for you or not.
Dr, which one of These 3 Serums would you Choose to fight adult acne and aging. Which one would be the Most effective in reference to their Ingredients? 1.La Roche Posay Effaclar Serum 2.Skinceuticals Blemish+Age Defense Serum 3.Dr.Dennis Gross Pore Refining Serum Thank you so so much
Can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from you. Want to kindly request if you would be able to include any diagrams of the anatomy of the skin to help visual learners like me understand how deep these ingredients go and which parts of the skin it affects.

Thank you Andrea... Dr Dray... very informative on the Inky List, which I've not yet tried. So I've book marked Sephora Australia. Half their products are out of stock already !
Yay! I'm so glad this brand is on your top 10 list. I've been very curious about the brand ever since you first mentioned it. In my price range too! Thanks, Dr Dray! Happy Friday!! I hope you have a tranquil evening. ❤
Hi, I hope you can see one commend the alpha product you mentioned for hyperpigmentations, can mothers who are nursing new born babies use that? It’s mainly sunspots all over the face. Thank you 🙏
Can you point out the main differences between polyglutamic and polyhydroxy acids? Sounds like polyglutamic is all encompassing. Would love to see a video on these two chemicals! So glad to see you nearing 1M followers! Cheering you on girlie!!!
I have used many Inkey List products and I love that they are affordable and transparent; however, is there any concern that many of the “active” ingredients are listed after the preservative on the ingredient list. I see this on many of their products. Doesn’t this mean that the main ingredient of the product is at a dose that is 1% or less?
Not about the Inkey list, but about the Neutrogena cream gel for dry (facial) skin. I just got it on major sale for 4 euro and a couple cents. It was priced 18 euro in a Dutch drugstore. My local Belgian pharmacy had it for 9 euro and I had a coupon for 5 euro off there. Yay! I went through one jar and it lasted me 3 months. I love it to bits. I do need to layer it with my thicker sealer (Nivea blue tin), but it is really wonderful!
I was just shopping the Sephora site for serums. My skin changes more than the average person’s with each season and last winter The Ordinary’s matrixyl & L-ascorbic acid/alpha arbutin worked wonders for me...until spring came around and I got dermatitis from the latter.😩 So I’m considering The Inkey List products for the first time and thought “I wonder what Dr. Dray thinks.”🤔 Wish I had watched this earlier. Per the advice of some fellow rosacea sufferers I recently tried The Ordinary’s mandelic acid to start introducing exfoliation again. Well that didn’t go so well.😳 Redness & blotchiness all over within an hour, so I had to wash it off. I started considering rice enzyme exfoliation but I think this is the first I’ve heard of polyhydroxy acid.
I love the Inkey List Peptide moisturizer! It is quite understated but affordable and really delivers results. So far, I have finished my first jar of the moisturizer and am planning to get a second one.
I have a really loud TV and a quiet neighborhood I'm pretty sure they can hear Dr Dray's voice three doors down and no one has made a noise complaint yet so I believe I'm doing the community a favor by blasting her knowledge out loud
i'm so grateful to you for your expertise! you're my favorite skincare channel and you've helped me clear my skin and develop an efficacious moisturizing routine! i cannot thank you enough! my dermatologist is always super busy and doesn't have time to get into the details like this. it really helps. thank you!
Can anyone in this forum help me with a question? I like to use Neutrogena Hydro boost right after I get out of the shower and before my face dries. But now I also want to use a vitamin C serum. Which should I put on first? If I use the hydro boost after the vitamin C, my face will be dry. Thanks for any help!! 🤷👍
I really do love these series. I really want to try the inkey list, I've only tried The Ordinary. I really want to try the hyaluronic acid hair treatment but I live in a desert so I think it might make my hair drier. Can't slap on a moisturizer on my hair to seal it in. Thanks for explaining all these products!
I was thinking the same thing about that hair treatment, but I live in Arizona. Not sure that conditioner would be enough to keep our dry climates from sucking the moisture out of our hair. Definitely can't slap on a moisturizer, lol! :)
Dr dray, what do you think about the inkey list retinol? I want to start to introduce retinoids in my facial routine but I find it hard to find good products, as in the EU we dont have as many products for this purpose as in the US. Thank you for your videos and your well documented information! Discovered your channel some weeks ago and im fascinated

At the moment the products I have in my routine are : Cerave hydrating cleanser The ordinary glycolic acid Paula's choice liquid exfoliant The ordinary moisturiser Cerave moisturising balm Bioderma hydrabio mask The ordinary aha 30% mask
Can you use the The oat balm cleanser as my 1st cleanse and then cleanse with Cerave hydrating cleanser for my sensitive skin ? Do u think it would be safe ?
Hello. Can I use the lactic acid serum on the same nights as my Tretinoin? Or should I put it on in the morning before my sunscreen? Thanks for your videos!!!! Happy Friday 😁
I think the two together would be really irritating. If you have off nights with your Tret, use it then. I have this product, and it states it should only be used in the evening. Maybe a couple times a week. :)

@@lavheejoycecallao1553 try the ordinarys alpha Arbutin I’ve been using it for two years and swear by it. And it’s very inexpensive. It may or may not work for you everyone’s skin is different, but it won’t hurt to try, it’s cheap.
I would love to see top 10 products from First Aid Beauty 🥰
Is there an updated video about the two Inkey list Retinol products? 👀 I cant seem to find one… asking for me 🙋🏻♂️
Thank you so much for sharing your wisdom and your information as a physician for those who wants to improve their skin but doesn’t have a skin condition that needs the care of a physician. All my gratitude to you 🙏🏻
To all who are allergic to niacinamide serum out there, have you found one or a particular brand that you aren’t allergic to? I’m still searching just in case the brands would make a difference. Might be silly.
Hi Dr. Dray! I've been watching you for 2 years now and my skin has never looked better! You're looking more beautiful everyday! 😍💖
so glad to hear!
You look particularly nice today. Your skin looks great! Love your advice- thank you!
I would love to see this from ACURE! I'm always so curious about their products!
I have been trying to get my hands on the oat cleansing balm for forever. Thanks for the amazing video❤️
It is just now restocked at sephora they just emailed me :)
@@healingwaters1193 OMG you are so sweet but I live in the Netherlands and we don’t have a Sephora here🥴🥺. Thank you so much❤️
It's so good!
@@davidschonfeldwichers8981 do you have Look Fantastic or Cult Beauty? X
@@chloe067 yess we do but I tend to be a little cautious with their products. I have bought several products at different times and som looked like they were really old and they were covered in dust and dirt. Its probably fine for a cleanser but again, i am cautious. A product with an active would be a no from me. Have a great day❤️
My granddaughters 12 and 15 have asked for face wash & moisturizer for Christmas, any recommendations? would inkey list be a good one?
They have normal skin, no acne and do not wear makeup. maybe a video for teens 💟☮️
Great recommendation! I would love to see also.
Cerave is great and gentle.
A video & recommendations for Teens will be greatly appreciated ! Thank you Dr Dray !
The inkey list only has the salicylic acid cleanser which is for acne. Recently I got the La Roche Posay Toleriane cleanser and it's pretty good, the size is 13 ounces. If not, the cerave cleansers at the drugstore are also pretty good options
Um hello, why are you so awesome??! Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us. I love that you recommend AFFORDABLE products to everyone. Because of your channel I have learned to buy skincare from the drugstore instead of expensive brands!! And thank you for recommending the cetaphil redness relief moisturizer! Life saver. ❤️❤️❤️
I'm really starting to like this brand.
I like the ordinary and all but this is just as good if not better.
Dr. Dray you are glowing as usual
Hallelujah for this review! I have been waiting for so long for your opinion on these items.Thank you Dr.dray!
Interested to know your thoughts on The Inkey List’s Q10 and their 15% Vitamin C & EGF Brightening Serum ... have you tried / used either? What are your thoughts on them?
I have become your fan; really love how you give information on skincare ingredients in an objective fashion. In the world full of people with intention to marketing, it’s so refreshing to see a genuine review like yours. Thank you so much Dr. Dray❤️.
I’ve brought the oat cleansing balm because Dr Dray recommended in the past and I love it for removing makeup and mascara. Thank you Dr Dray. Happy Halloween 🎃 👻
Lolz u can simple wash face for these two removing 😁
Hi Dr Dray! Have you tried their tranexamic acid serum?
Mmm conflicting statements from previous videos, can you please address this? It’s hard to trust when you hate a product one video, then rave about the same product in the next.
Because formulation wise it is fine and her experience isn’t universal. Just like how every other comment here hates the oat cleansing balm 🤷🏻♀️
Its because she's a sellout. Plain and simple.
Which video did she mention not recommending it?
@@ae498 what?
Sometimes I find it so overwhelming trying to figure out how to incorporate all these different products, especially when using Retin-A (0.025%). I feel like I don't really need a lot of these products since I am using Retin-A. The more I try to use, the more irritation I experience. My skin has become so sensitive. You really have to be careful adding extra products when using Retin-A. I enjoy trying new products, but I'm at the point where I'm afraid to try anything new for fear of more irritation.
I feel the same way.
@@Snoopygroupie70 Thank-you! I'm glad I'm not the only one! : )
i too am on retin-a... 0.025%... you're not alone!
Yes!! I am interested in the alpha butin so I was waiting on her to say it is safe with Tretinoin.
Inkey and the ordinary are the only reliable, frugal sources for deep hydration without HA! I am loving PGA and squalene and collagen 😍
I liked your IG post this morning. I have tried the collagen booster I liked the texture, also the retinol it didn't irritate or anything. I think I need to use them for longer periods than I did.
Thanks!
Hi Dr. Dray. Please ,could you post a video about skin products that combat open pores?
Dr, which one of These 3 Serums would you Choose to fight adult acne and aging. Which one would be the Most effective in reference to their Ingredients?
1.La Roche Posay Effaclar Serum
2.Skinceuticals Blemish+Age Defense Serum
3.Dr.Dennis Gross Pore Refining Serum
Thank you so so much
Dr dray has videos on adult acne and hormonal acne, if that helps.
Can’t tell you how much I’ve learned from you. Want to kindly request if you would be able to include any diagrams of the anatomy of the skin to help visual learners like me understand how deep these ingredients go and which parts of the skin it affects.
@Dr Dray, This is a great idea! Infographics in some of these topics could be amazing. Dr. Dray, I am an acupuncturist and graphic designer with a specialty in infographics. My healthcare background with design could be a fun project. Please message if interested in help with this. Could be cool!
Thank you Andrea... Dr Dray... very informative on the Inky List, which I've not yet tried. So I've book marked Sephora Australia. Half their products are out of stock already !
srsly nothing from TIL is ever in stock on the website (Melb-based)
The Oat Cleansing balm is my favorite!!! I will double cleanse with it.
Yay! I'm so glad this brand is on your top 10 list. I've been very curious about the brand ever since you first mentioned it. In my price range too! Thanks, Dr Dray! Happy Friday!! I hope you have a tranquil evening. ❤
Can you pls do a video with a skincare routine for acne with the inkeylist products? For am and pm? 🙏🏼😊
Hi, I hope you can see one commend the alpha product you mentioned for hyperpigmentations, can mothers who are nursing new born babies use that? It’s mainly sunspots all over the face. Thank you 🙏
Can you do a video on getting rid of the Croatians/grooves in the face after having severe acne for years please?
Can you point out the main differences between polyglutamic and polyhydroxy acids? Sounds like polyglutamic is all encompassing. Would love to see a video on these two chemicals!
So glad to see you nearing 1M followers! Cheering you on girlie!!!
Dr. Dray: as long as you don’t keep your skincare in the oven...
Me: *looks at my oven* damn now I gotta find space for y’all
I look forward to these vids every day 💙 i love how Dr Dray gives so much info in a short amount of time.
I love their retinol, going to get one for my dad
hated the AHA though, I can’t use it on my face or body
I would love to know your views on The Inkey List's Vitamin C Serum.
I have used many Inkey List products and I love that they are affordable and transparent; however, is there any concern that many of the “active” ingredients are listed after the preservative on the ingredient list. I see this on many of their products. Doesn’t this mean that the main ingredient of the product is at a dose that is 1% or less?
Loved the Oat Cleanser! Been wating for the video
it is one of my favorites!
My skin changes more than the average person’s with each season and last winter The Ordinary’s matrixyl & L-ascorbic acid/alpha arbutin worked wonders for me...until spring came around and I got dermatitis from the latter.😩
So I’m considering The Inkey List products for the first time and thought “I wonder what Dr. Dray thinks.”🤔
Wish I had watched this earlier.
The oat cleansing balm is amazing. They really did a great job. Thank you for a great video, dr. Dray. Best day 😘
At this point, my husband is able to recognize your voice. "Is that Dr. Dray?" By the way, your skin looks extra glowing today.
thanks!
I have a really loud TV and a quiet neighborhood I'm pretty sure they can hear Dr Dray's voice three doors down and no one has made a noise complaint yet so I believe I'm doing the community a favor by blasting her knowledge out loud
He’s having an affair!
i'm so grateful to you for your expertise! you're my favorite skincare channel and you've helped me clear my skin and develop an efficacious moisturizing routine! i cannot thank you enough! my dermatologist is always super busy and doesn't have time to get into the details like this. it really helps. thank you!
Your skin is looking beautiful! Healthy and glowy! Thanks for the info Dr. Dray 😊
Love the way you broke it down by skin concerns. Sooo good!!
Great video! I appreciate your straightforward easy-to-understand presentation style. Very informative!!
Thanks for the helpful tips and heads up on the Sephora sale!!
You are so welcome!
You are such a ROCK STAR ! Muah from Asheville, NC !! "Well, Hey Guys" needs to be your coined phrase. Potential Merch idea !!
Wow! Thanks for doing categories & explaining all of the products. So helpful!
Can you really put lactic acid on damp skin? Never knew you could? Is this the same with the ordinary lactic acid
HURRY! The Oat Cleansing Balm is in stock on Sephora. Go go go!
I want to try some of their products but I really don't like their packaging...
At the moment the products I have in my routine are :
Cerave hydrating cleanser
The ordinary glycolic acid
Paula's choice liquid exfoliant
The ordinary moisturiser
Cerave moisturising balm
Bioderma hydrabio mask
The ordinary aha 30% mask
They all sound great products. However how do you use all these different products? Do they intract negatively ?
do u recommend retinol from the inkey list?
Can the cleansing balm be used in oily/acne prone skin?
Thanks I have learned so much
yes
Thank you Dr. Dray for great information. Your skin looks flawless!
Thanks for taking the extra time to set up your amazing link lists. I can always count on your awesome organization. Super helpful.
I love their products. I look forward to trying more.
I do like the inkey list products however I find that you don’t get much product in them, particularly the serums. They barely last me a month! X
hello dr dray, how can I use Alpha arbutin brightening serum if I'm using adapalene at night and Paulas Azelaic acid in the morning? there are the only two active ingridient I use daily.
I just watched an older video you did saying the Alpha Arbutin was a waste. Can you please let us know what changed your mind?????
I came here to ask the same question! I’m curious as well as I’m trying to decide whether to buy it.
@@rebeccaspath9056 exactly. I’ve seen a few people ask and I haven’t seen any get a response .......
