I have the Nazgûl evoque F5 I bought if on analogue but I had a cadex vista unit put in with a DJI camera I treated myself to some DJI v2 goggles & DJI big black controller & my freestyling is so much more fun with the new setup 100% worth it
Excellent recap Mike. I love the look of the drone and the added protection they added. I wish it still included the original DJI air unit with the original camera.
Me too, but i think the price would have been even higher then (plus the shortage of chips kinda makes it impossible)
it only has high quality mode not low latency mode. also its a 16:9 sensor so you get a larger horizontal field of view then the nebula pro and dji cameras with a 4:3 sensor. its made for 16:9 it doesnt crop your field of view. 4:3 on a 16:9 would actually crop your field of view with this camera. other wise good review.

Great videos always and convinced me to pick this drone up once it comes back into stock at my local dealer! I'm glad I waited and become a more confident flyer. I think this drone combined with my DJI FPV Drone will be all I need for fun videos.

Trying to compare this one IFlight Nazgul5 Evoque HD to Armattan Badger 5 with TOA 2306/1750kv motors... What you can say about this two models in comparsion?

Might be surprising, but i'd actually point a lot of new pilots towards this drone (maybe the 4s version though).
The fact that the electronics are protected plays a huge role into making this a better choice for beginners :)
@@DroneSupremacy But I mean the props are not protected and accidents might occur fast hehe I think it's better to start off with a Cinewhoop with ducts protecting the blades :P
Love your videos, alway useful and entertaining. According to my research, with the X, the props will be in the camera's (GoPro) field of view unless the camera angle is more than 20-25°, so not effective for slow pace videos. I am wrong?
Yes, that's pretty much correct. But you can always crop in a little bit to avoid having them in the GoPro's view. OR you can just get the deadcat version which eliminates this problem.
One thing that was hella confusing was the props on the Protek. DJI color codes there props so you cant realllly install them incorrectly. These are the same as the Protek... not color coded... if you know you know but not necessarily beginner friendly. They can still improve the User experience

Hey MIke quick question, will the panels make this drone splash resistant? I mean no drone will survive crashing in water (unless you conformal coat it), but will this drone survive by flying in light rain or a waterfall splash (if you fly too close to a waterfall)

Yes I believe so, although there's a small gap between the frame itself and the side panels, so it really depends where/how you fly, but it can surely survive a few splashes/drops of water :)

You can use the original DJI FPV controller (not the one that comes with the DJI FPV drone) yes. Just select you don't need a receiver.
As for how good it is for a beginner - it's pretty fast and nimble, so it might be a bit too much for a 1st time flier. However, if you practice enough on the sim before and you fly in safe open spaces for a while - you'll get used to the control and the general feeling of it so you'll be fine in my opinion.

@@Nio-zk5ci from my experience the vista is slightly worse in terms of range when compared to the air unit. However it's still pretty good! I chose to go with the deadcat orientation as i fly more for cinematic footage, and on the X shape sometimes you'll get the props in view even on your GoPro.
So... I have the Gopro. I have a DJI Mavic AIR 2. But I want an FPV. How difficult is this to learn as a beginner FPV guy?
Quite difficult. I highly recommend you to buy a simulator first (Liftoff/Velocidrone) and practice there for at least 15-20 hours, otherwise you'll break your drone on the first flight - guaranteed. After you get used to the controls it's a lot easier to transition to real FPV drones. Best of luck :)
Hi, Mike! I am a beginner in the drone universe. 5 months ago I started with a Mavic Air 2 and a month ago I have the Dji FPV. And honestly, the fky experiencie blows my mind. I spent almost 30 hours in Liftoff and DRL Sim on Xbox, and with your review my wallet is shaking and scary because thia Nazgul haha. Do you know if I can use de Dji FPV Googles and controller for the Nazgul, or I need to buy another one?
