I dont mean to be so offtopic but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost my password. I would appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@Royce Ricky thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and im trying it out now. I see it takes a while so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
No way forums are dead. Best thing about forums is that you chose what you want to look at, not what an algorithm thinks you should see. More importantly these builds are epic - great work!
Thanks so much for the kind words, it means a lot! I saw the first scratch. It made my day. I love seeing these builds getting used. Thanks for what you do for all of us.
OMG Brown Sugar is unbelievable!!Above and beyond! And that jeep is just amazing! Reminds me of one I ran into on way to the beach last year…woman and her husband both had sick builds in West Virginia. Hers had a mail jeep motto and right hand drive. Totally sick
Wish more forums were still active, Rc or otherwise. Facebook groups aren't even close to being comparable. Build logs, Technical/how to sections and everything else all have their own place to go and it's easy to browse and find things you're looking for. Something about having to actually sign up an entire new account to be a part of a community seemed to thin out the people who don't really have anything positive/worthwhile to contribute too...
I agree. The information on FB is organized so poorly. Different people asking the same questions over and over. On the forums they could just see all the info and click on that category. . . The only thing that is a better on FB is the ease of posting pictures. Everything else is garbage. Yet that is where everyone is . . . Sigh.
I agree. Forums are the best for watching builds come together for sure. Bookface is for me more to just see what's trending in the hobby. Hats off to all the builders featured here. Excellent work.🤙
Wow, this is so cool!! Thank you Matthew and the SBG crew! Loved this build, but really got drawn into that interior!!! Tons of details to try to replicate!!!! So cool sharing these build threads on SBG, where there are so many super skilled and talented builders! Forum's rule!!!
Awsome build man and amazing point work on that body wow nobody realizes how much work goes into prepping styrene body before painting and how hard it really is to get that glass shone and stripes with out bleeding and carving all the other styrene for inside of that camper was tons of sanding really tiny areas and parts to shape great build man
Thank you very much for kind words,Matt! Can't believe that the truck of mine got into finest builds vid. This forum helped me a lot, so much stuff to learn and appreciate out there. Happy holidays!
I joined the hobby in 2020, so hey! Not a bad year on that level for me. Been a challenge for sure, but healthy and safe here in Connecticut and working on crawler #4 now!
These people have some serious talent and some serious patience. Masters of their craft for sure. I'm on my lunch break and need to spend the next 15 minutes picking my jaw up off the floor. 😀👍
I take my tablet and hook it up to my flat screen via hdmi cable. Then I find the vehicle or parts, go to the tv with a ruler, zoom the tablet to the right size on tv, tape on a piece of tracing paper and turn down the lights and sketch it out lightly with a pencil. Then you can scroll around and change the paper without changing the size.👍
I remember following along with the LS Mail Jeep build on Instagram as he posted progress pics. That was such a cool build. I can’t believe the Apache isn’t getting more love in the comments, it’s wild! I‘m biased since Apaches hold a special place in my heart, but that truck is my favorite of all of these. These are all really great builds though. I’d love to see someone tackle the ‘60 and ‘61 Apaches with all of those intricate details. The hood “eyebrows” and the grilles for both would be tough to replicate.
Hands down the best things that came out of 2020 ! When the news was getting to be to much I found myself back on Scale Builder's Guild then back working on my trucks. Nice work to all the builders in this video.
I’m not a Chevy guy but that old Apache is amazing, I totally wanna make like an old farm truck build now, leafs all around, 55 Ford body, white steelies and tractor tires, etc. keep da great vids coming
The tacoma is highly impressive. Ive been looking for a tacoma body for a very long time, eventually someone will make a simple hardcopy that doesn't require printing. I don't quite have the time for the 3d printed option. That time goes to my 1:1 land cruiser, ha. Great builds here.
WOW!!!!!! 😳💯 Just WOW! Matt, I'm as blown away as you are. Wood Builds always mesmerize... Wes is a MASTER, and I've seen several amazing builds from him. BUT RICHARD'S TACO!!!! OMFG! Both my Wife and I did several double takes. I first told her "That's a Model"... She said "NO WAY!" I mean we were literally floored by that one. I'd like to start posting on the Forum again... but in our current situation, I often slip, and tell People things that they obviously don't want to hear. I cannot and will not push or force anyone to help us - but receiving rude and threatening responses, I didn't feel was appropriate either. Some time in the next few Months (2-3), I will be receiving a HUGE Inheritance that we've been impatiently waiting over 11 years for!! So.... After that. I Plan on Paying it Forward to anyone in the Community who might need Help. Who are in the same degrading, demoralizing, dehumanizing position that we've been forced to endure. I promise you that ANYONE who needs help, even if I don't like them personally, WILL get help! With that, we both truly wish you and your Family the most Joyous of Holiday Seasons and an awesome 2021!! 😊 Carmine ✈🚂🚙
I wish you did more videos like this showing off all the cool builds, understand the best of the year. but I find myself watching these over and over for inspiration and would find a series like these could pair well with lightroom like the opposite tone. this is all about the best. could focus a few videos like this on the less complex or minimal builds.
It’s incredible just how detailed these models are! And well said on the usefulness on forums. It’s a shame they aren’t as big as they could be, I’ve learned so much from cruising old posts that I never would’ve learned by joining a Facebook group. They’re veritable tomes of information, and the day that we lose forums for good will be a dark day indeed.
Merry Christmas, thanks for all your video's, they've really help entertain me though a tough year of lockdown. Wishing you a happy and prosperous New year.
Its amazing how the hobby has taken off into a whole different level of detailing! And it all started with tamiya's bruiser and then axial! Also rc4wd has taken the hobby into a totally realistic level. I would like to see your jeep jl build, i think it looks amazingly realistic!👌😎👍
It’s been a long time since I’ve used the forum! So I’m trying to get back into rc , is the scx10 perfect reliability wise for crawling because I wanna walk around with a crawler for hours at a time
Richards tacoma got me when it was pasted to a fb group. showed it to everyone i know. love the fact these guys run their builds. doing my first ever scratch styrene work (custom flatbed) because of inspiration from all these guys!! Happy New Year tiny truckers!
But for me, that tacoma and the LS mail jeep are just beyond words...😍 pardenmynoob has some mindboggling skillz and patience😳 creating that level of realisme in an UP CLOSE picture is VERY impressive🤯😍
Excellent sweater game! Inspirational builds, the creativity is fantastic, so is this video, an enjoyment, thank you SBG! For notice, I have seen Smiggin's Folly in the snow recently, which was awesome. Also 'Mudder Putter' on RUclips is a contender for 2021, fun details and cool filming. Thank you for the videos and here we go for 2021, let's crawl 👍😎
Hey Matt, Happy Christmas and Merry New Year! I have a scx10ii I have sitting on my shelf I bought it RTR and have tore it apart and I have pieces everywhere! I would like to scratch build my truck. My 1 to 1 that is. It is a 2005 GMC Sierra SLT( one trim line down from the Denali) extended cab( you know the ones with the suicide style backdoors) I have access to a plastic supplier, all the sandpaper and glue I could ever need. Pictures I have tons of those. Sorry I got lost in thought. So I will just cut it short. That is my goal for my scx10ii. Thank you for your time. I always enjoy your videos sometimes I even feel that you are talking to me. The RC/PC looks great! Talk to you on the flip side.
I just read on the forum about how Lux made the windshield for the wooden truck and I do not at all understand what he said he did. What is a glass probe made from the plastic folder for the documents? Do I not understand builders lingo?
@@scalebuildersguild ok that makes sense, being translated from another language. That car is artwork, it has amazing detail and a level of workmanship that is out of this world.
Wishing everyone a happy and healthy 2021, and I hope we will get a chance to truck and drink coffee again, Matt. 👍🏼😊
Hope you’re still doing good, cheers mate!

@Royce Ricky It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I'm so happy:D
Thanks so much you saved my ass!

Wesmade your builds inspire me no end

An honor to be included on this of great builds and builders. Thank you!
My Wife and I were both absolutely FLOORED by your amazing Build!!
OMG Brown Sugar is unbelievable!!Above and beyond! And that jeep is just amazing! Reminds me of one I ran into on way to the beach last year…woman and her husband both had sick builds in West Virginia. Hers had a mail jeep motto and right hand drive. Totally sick
Right on!
Facebook needs to go away, it’s ruined society, bring back the forum!
Couldn't agree more!!!

I own/built the full size postal jeep. Wes did an awesome job on the little details of it. Extremely accurate, super cool little machine.
Amazing! Thanks for your comment!
I had a boss during my "work in the desert and did stuff in aerospace" days that bought one of these Post office jeeps. That thing was crazy to drive.

Great work Luxar! Thanks for sharing your build!
The brown sugar camper model, just wow!
All of them very impressive!!! Real RC artists at work. That shot of the Toyota @9:37....so real looking. Congrats to all and keep em coming
that Tacoma looks like a real one. He nailed that
Dude, imo that Tacoma rules them all! That truck looks INSANE in photos!
Love the arm hanging out of the window on the old Chevy.

That Toyota was awesome they all are but i really like that one the most
Huge thanks for gave credits to those builders
I’m not a Chevy guy but that old Apache is amazing, I totally wanna make like an old farm truck build now, leafs all around, 55 Ford body, white steelies and tractor tires, etc. keep da great vids coming
Amazing work guys the Tacoma looked so real and that jeep was a1 amazing !!!
Some of these vehicles look MORE real than the real vehicles.👍

Woo! Congrats to all the fine builders that were featured, so awesome!
Merry Christmas and a very SCALE NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE!
That Tacoma takes the cake for me. It is truly awesome.
There is a 24th scale gift under the tree for me this year.
Forums are MUCH better sources of information than fakebook will ever be.
The best recap of a troubled year. All of these builds are inspiring!!! Thanks SBG.
wow, that Blazer slide on camper. Amazing!!!!
Cool video and big thanks to everyone who put easy to find public information out there in the forums.

I am always in awe of the incredible work that can be done with this hobby. The detail is absolutely amazing.
Glad you enjoy it!
All amazing trucks. Well done to all the builders for their fantastic builds.
Wow, I wanna be best friends with all of these builders. I’m completely blown away.
I agree I am lurker on SBG and am amazed at people's builds.
Blown away by the creativity and skill on display here awesome
I want to get more into making builds with engines. Hopefully my upcoming build will scratch that itch for me.
As someone who is an awful builder these blow my mind
New video for 2021 coming very soon!
I wish you did more videos like this showing off all the cool builds, understand the best of the year. but I find myself watching these over and over for inspiration and would find a series like these could pair well with lightroom like the opposite tone.
this is all about the best. could focus a few videos like this on the less complex or minimal builds.
I’ll definitely consider it! Thanks for the suggestion!
That tacoma is a serious peice of art. very impressed!
Thanks for all the content this year! Keep up the great work!
Spectacular truck, although I do feel bad about the Desert Runner.

All these builds are amazing, I actually watched Wes's build series on the LS mail rig fantastic to watch, thanks for sharing these Matt
It’s been a long time since I’ve used the forum! So I’m trying to get back into rc , is the scx10 perfect reliability wise for crawling because I wanna walk around with a crawler for hours at a time
Wow! Great builds from some great minds!
The cj postal is a great replica of the actually 1:1 crawler. Can't remember the name of the 1:1 builder.
It is me... lol
Richards tacoma got me when it was pasted to a fb group. showed it to everyone i know. love the fact these guys run their builds. doing my first ever scratch styrene work (custom flatbed) because of inspiration from all these guys!! Happy New Year tiny truckers!
You rock!
Do you mind sharing his facebook profile or how to reach him i want the same tacoma built by him !
Wow it's amazing
Especially the Toyota Tacoma is really really amazing
👍👍
I think I should work harder.
Forums are the best. Facebook is terrible.
All amazing builds, the Tacoma is my favourite.
Facebook sucks. Forums is definitely better for all information... Building learning, education so on... Awesome vid!
That Tacoma is sick...
A friend wes made the mail truck crawler in the video.. looks so cool in person..
But for me, that tacoma and the LS mail jeep are just beyond words...😍 pardenmynoob has some mindboggling skillz and patience😳 creating that level of realisme in an UP CLOSE picture is VERY impressive🤯😍
That tacoma is awesome! I'd buy it from the builder
What you got on the shelf behind you that little 1/24 scale
Happy New Year - great awesome joice
Excellent sweater game! Inspirational builds, the creativity is fantastic, so is this video, an enjoyment, thank you SBG!

That Tacoma is my cup of tea!!!
Great choices, outstanding workmanship
My goal for 2021 is to use the SBG forum more. That way I can add my future project, my Enduro 4x4 prerunner. With IFS, trailing arms, rear sway bar.
Absolutely amazing. Thank you for all you do. Truly inspiring.
Nice model cars guys

Check out that Scx24 B17 back there! Those are some AMAZING builds!
ALL of those builds are on 🔥🔥🔥!
@wesmadeBuilds, congrats on making the list!
Amazing work!
Now THAT Brother, is something I shoot for.
.... Got a LONG way to go!! 😜
All of these are awesome and inspiring!
There are a lot of awesome builds on the forum, so this would be a hard list to select builds for.
Are there places like this for like jdm cars? I've seen lots of bodies that are modified but not scratch styrene and i really want to get into that.
The scalebuilderguild.com/forum has sections for cars, of course!
Those are all amazing builds! I'd swear that any of them were full scale if I'd just seen pictures and had no idea of what SBG is! 🤣
I just read on the forum about how Lux made the windshield for the wooden truck and I do not at all understand what he said he did. What is a glass probe made from the plastic folder for the documents? Do I not understand builders lingo?
He’s Russian, so there’s something lost in translation. Sounds like he used a clear sheet from a binder cover.
@@scalebuildersguild ok that makes sense, being translated from another language.
That car is artwork, it has amazing detail and a level of workmanship that is out of this world.
Dude thats a tamiya clod buster body lol. Great video tho. Love the forum, thank you so much for youre time and energy
man my eyes where grabbed instantly bye that landrover in the bottom left
Man that’s some awesome rigs you chose
That’s funny, I was watching that video the other day and I was like, yeah he’s really wrong😂😂
The Jeep is simply amazing!
Excellent!! Thanks and Cheers!!
To hell with the book it’s old forums are more informative ✌🏽🔥
So much great work done! Very inspiring stuff.
Nice video! You would like to see my homemade 1/5 49cc RC car!!
Well you weren't wrong about 2020 being a huge year
I would really love to do ,the wrath (dodge interceptor) with nice rims on a drift setup slammed
@scalebuildersguild where can I get one of those toyota tacoma bodies because I would love to do a build like that and make it fully scale
Manitou Liu on Facebook.
Love watching your vids on a Saturday !!🔥
MERRY X-MAS SBG!!
