If I didn't have a ton of palettes, with every color known to man, I might splurge... but CoVid kept me inside (where I don't need makeup) and I just can't rationalize buying any more palettes! Both of your looks were absolutely gorgeous, and I had a momentary attack of fomo before I reigned myself in, lol. Just glad you're here to brighten my day!!!
I loved the green look so much on you !! The price point is high for what it is, but if you love it than it’s worth it. I love Melt shadows also and this is a pass since I don’t wear bright colors. I think you picked a winner and you are gorgeous 💗💗

The price breakdowns and info about the bundle savings were really helpful for anyone still on the fence about whether or not to buy some of the products. Based on the general reaction about the prices, I hope Melt is taking those comments seriously and will price their next collection more reasonably (or at least not quite so out-of-reach). You should try their eyeshadow palettes and gel liners! The gel liners have a super unique formula that I sometimes use as a cream shadow, and the matte eyeshadows especially are awesome. My favorite is the petite eyeshadow stack - the most perfect natural neutrals that I use all the time.

I bought the PR box & then felt totally duped when they released the prices for the individual items & had 25% off! 🤬. I am stupidly excited though cos I’ve just paid my customs fee (another £78!) but the collection is being delivered tomorrow. It all looks stunning! 🦋

I get staining a lot too with both reds and purples. I keep a heavy matte concealer that is absolutely not flattering under my eyes texture wise or my skin tone to color correct after bright colors. I let it dry down put and setting powder on top. I use a liquid mixing medium sprayed onto a brush to apply and set the new shadows

I am absolutely not a makeup artist either but I never let that stop me from having fun. When I got mine my brain immediately divided up into little quads. It seems (at least to me) that the way they are arranged in the palette just kind of go together in little groups of 4. That’s how I’m going to approach it first. I think the greens and reds will both look fantastic as a monochromatic halo eye with the gold gel liner in the center. Im going to try and do that for work on Christmas
The whole collection looks stunning, the packaging and the details of the butterflies is fantastic. I did buy from the sale but not this collection, I got the mascara some additional lipsticks and the Blueprint palette, that I have been wanting for a while. The eye shadow colors are pretty, but just out of my comfort zone. Both looks are beautiful.
@@GlitterFallout I only wore the blue colors once, and I like it so far, the color Skylight need to be applied wet for a better color and impact payoff. The browns are good, had no problem with those.

I love melt but I since they joined Sephora these prices have gone up and keep going up 😓 so I hardly buy anymore plus tbh the boxes I have had idk what to do with them and I feel bad throwing them away. I'm still kind of on the new side of melt. I'm actually interested in the gel liners because I don't have any in my collection. And there are multiple ones I want to get, including from the Mary Jane collection.
The gel liners really are stunning! I don't believe the MaryJane collection had any gel liners. Maybe you're thinking of the Glitter Pots? I hope they bring those back!

Overall loved both eye looks very pretty but that green look 😍
Price was too high for pressed pigment, even though I adore Melt, I waited and got both on the current sale for 50.00. Both face and eye for 50! I was so stoked 🤘🏼
I miss the old palette style. It was uniform, different that the rest, no wasted space, just very sleek… now it’s starting to look just like every one else. I know it’s probably just me, but all the wasted space irks me to no end and has kept me from me wanting to pick this one up. I love the darker mattes, but the palette setup is such a turn off for me. I know it’s probably just me, but uggggh!
Imo Melt's quality doesn't equal their price. I understand indy brands are self funded so they're usually more expensive but come on. Melt is just too inconsistent to be that expensive.

I admit I'm with you there. My palettes all lined up in a pretty row from them and this one is just bigger and a bit awkward.
