Thanks you man I appreciate it. Thanks for watching.
Room noise as echo in room still picking up try some acoustic panels to control reverb from room panels will tighten up the room and voice overall
I purchased this cable, but when I connect to my iphone, it is not recording ? do you know how to adjust it ?
Does it work with a condenser mic?
Thank you for the wonderful video. My question is how do I use my rode with my iPhone during a live event. I have the Go Mic Mobile and I also have the SmartLav+. Is there an app that will allow me to have great audio with the SLR microphone? 😅
If you were going live, the microphone should work, just the same it shouldn’t be an issue. The only problem is that because your lightning port or USB-C port is occupied, you won’t be able to monitor your audio so to get around that you can buy a splitter so that you have one place to plug the mic in and another place to plug your headphones in.
No longer available on AZ, sir.
most important thing to know is if your mic needs phantom power. many pro mics are condensers and all of mine require phantom power (48v) which is NOT supplied by a phone or ipad. basically you can't use these types of mics with this setup. so make sure your mic does not need phantom power!
Thanks for this video. Can you tell me another XLR Mic and iPhone 13 cable that is shorter? I only need for Red Carpet. Maybe need 5 to 10 feet of cord.
Thanks for watching. I'm not sure if about shorter cables but I'll have a look around. If you are going to be in close range consider getting a wireless mic.
love your videos, please what camera and lens are you using for this video?
Thank you very much for watching. I appreciate you. I was using a Sony a7S3 with a 24 f/1.4 if I am not mistaken.
@TodayIFeelLike Thank you so much for your reply. 😊
Thank you too for watching.
Hi, do you know if this will also work if I plug it in directly to my Yamaha mixer and to my iphone? Instead of connecting it to a microphone to a phone?
That I don't know
What about phantom power? Does it provide phantom power for XLR mics that require it? I’m not familiar with the mic you have to know if it needs piano power or not.
It's just a cable and your phone is not going to provide enough power to provide phantom power so you're going to have to use microphones that are powered.
@@TodayIFeelLike thanks
No problem Happy to help and please subscribe if you haven't already.
I have the Adapter, but it isnt working with my Sterling st151. Does it have to be a Saramonic mic in order to work?
No it doesn’t have to be a Saramonic mic. It can be used with various mics. I’m not familiar with the mic you mentioned so I’m not sure how to advise you. Is the mic you are using powered?
can i use this cable with a dynamic mic? or do i need to buy a pre-amp?
I haven't tried it with a Dynamic but give it a try and let me know how it goes.
Quick question. I have a Behringer xr18 and the outputs are XLR. Can I use this cable to run a mix from the XR18 to an IPhone 12 Pro Max for a livestream?
It should work
Oh cool. I’ll try it out. Thanks
Can I connect 2 Xlr mics and audio interface to iPhone and record video?
If you have a dual XLR splitter
I paid $150 for this and used it 3 times before the cable broke completely and now it does not work at all with my I phone I definitely wouldn’t recommend
That's really unfortunate I'm sorry to hear that. There are some other options out there if you are looking to connect XLR microphones to your iPhone
Does it have phantom power?
No you have to use a powered mic.
@@TodayIFeelLike There aren't many xlr mics that don't use or need 48 v phantom power
Yes you can use the same mic I use which is the Saramonic SoundBird T3 you can also check out the Rode NTG4+
😃👌
Thanks for watching it was good to see you in the comment section.
I thought u had a professional mic when you were using just the iPhone.
I do use different types of mics when making my videos.
this is actually useless if you cannot use the lightning now as data to PC
Use lightning??? You mean like the iPhone?
