I would love to know of a way to live stream from iPhone to RUclips using a DJI app and active tracking. I have an Osmo mobile 3 but this would be such a cool use case if it’s possible. Thanks for this video!!!
just learned this isn't possible with the Osmo Mobile 3 but it IS possible with the Osmo Pocket 2 and 3 (per DJI support) and then you can use the lightning port of the phone to plug in a mic@@marieloumandl
I have an iPhone 13 and Shure MV7 with a Shure recommended cable. However, I just don't see the lights turned on as I plug the cable on to my iPhone. It's really frustrating. Do you have any idea? Thanks very much for this video.
Thanks so much for the video, I think it was a short explaining RODE SC19 option. This worked having wasted so much money on other stupid cables. I have one question for you though please can you advise on a brand for a coupler connector to join USB-C to USB-C that will support MV7+
I usually do voiceovers on capcut app on iPhone for my videos. Do we get the same studio like crisp audio by using this or the new Shure mv7+? Your answer will help me to decide whether to buy it or not. Thanks!
You can do that in editing software. And some programs will do an isolated audio track and a video+audio track. I'd have to dig to see which ones could do that on the phone. Let me know if you are still looking for solutions.
Any recommendations for a small high quality microphone on the go that won't break the bank? I just purchased a MV7, and thinking of getting something to use when I'm on the go.
I bought the cable to put between shure microphone and my iPhone, but when I talk in the microphone, the green lights are off, the shore microphone is off. .. what is the problem ? the app motif records my voice but not through the microphone... Thanks for your help !

Is it a cable specifically for microphones? I learned at some point that some cables are just for power and not to transmit info. If it is the cable I suggested, our next bet is to plug the mic into something else like your computer to make sure it isn’t a problem with the mic. If it works, next step is to contact shure

this was SO HELPFUL!!! BUT- I went to purchase the longer cable for iphone using your link, but the product description states it's not for Shure MV7?

for an iPhone 15 it might work with the cable that comes with the microphone
Hey I did purchase the long cable too but when I try zoom I can’t hear the audio of the participant
Does it work on Android
Love this video! lets say I were to have guests on my podcast... can I record with two mics and record video with my iPhone at the same time?
the cable you have linked is saying is not suitable for the MV7 anymore. Any other alternatives? I bought a USB to Iphone adapter, but it did not work
did you find a solution here?

How does this microphone perform on a boom arm to have the mic out of frame but recorded on an iPhone?
It’s a little too far. I tried cause I like my camera out of frame but this mic isn’t built for that
Didn't work for my IPhone 14 pro, unfortunately (the mic wasn't recognized). Does work for IPad Air, for some reason..

I don’t have the iPhone 15 to test specifically but I plug this into my laptop using usb-c so in theory it should work
it should work, same technical, it is just USBC connector, so buy micro USB to USBC cable, simple
Do you use an audio interface? Focusrite maybe? Or just plug the mic?
