As a middle-class girl, I didn't understand wealth and poverty as a child, but at 17, I’m acutely aware of it due to my parents' constant reminders of our financial struggles.. ....during a wealthy relative’s wedding, I connected with some young adults over discussion of history and geography. But when my parents discussed our financial issues in front of them, they started treating me differently.
One girl mocked me for not knowing how to use an elevator, and an aunt criticized my hairstyle as "village-style." These moments made me feel judged and out of place because of our financial situation. Because of all this, I stopped attending my relatives' weddings and began feeling a lot of stress. Despite their doubts about my future, I’m currently preparing for the JEE in my drop year .
And you won’t believe it, people never stopped judging. Relatives visit and say things like...first attempt mein Kyun nhin nikala..agar nikal bhi jaaye to bhi kya aukat ha padane ki...dimag Kam ha kya isme...kya karegi apne future. ...bagairah...and in sab ke babjood i am just working hard .. trying to focus on my studies
And haan these criticism mein also school mein bhi face kiya... everything was normal but during parents meeting my parents came and financial condition ke baare mein bataya.. next jab mein school gayi teacher treated me like bechari...aise backgrounds se aati ha but phir bhi talented ha...and yeh sab mere friends ko pata chala and they cut their all connections with me ...and say ye kyun party mein ayegi ye to gareeb ha...and mere parents conservative bhi ha so ek time emotions mein apne conservation family ki baat ek friend ko bata di and next day usne ye baat sab mein faila di .and then everyone aise bechari ki tarah treat kar rahe like... oh isiliye tum chhote kapde nhin pehenti...humare saath ghumne nhin chalati bagairah and bahut pachhtayi uss din
But jo bhi ho birth le hi liya ha..to full maje karke hi jaayenge

I'm also 17 and love philosophy, although my knowledge isn’t as deep as it should be (obviously). One thing I recommend to you is to avoid giving unnecessary advice (gyan), because people genuinely start disliking you no matter if you’re saying the right stuff at the wrong time. In those situations, you’re perceived as “gyan ka choda,” so just keep your thoughts to yourself unless necessary.
Regarding money, personally, I think making money initially and primarily from your passion isn’t a good idea because the probability of failure is so high it isn’t worth the risk. You’re essentially buying a lottery ticket. A better option is to do something just to earn as much money as possible, and when you have enough money, stop working and live your life doing what you love-not for money or anybody else, but just for your own will.
