    I actually returned my 7950x and bought the 7600x instead. People said I was mad but with the extra money I got a new m.2 drive,PSU, and new keyboard & mouse as well as a new cooler.
    It was just about getting on the new Zen4 architecture. And with the 3D versions on the way early next year i would have most likely sold the 7950x anyways and at much less value. £780 for 5 months of use felt pointless to me.

      X4 Foundations will not benefit from any more than 2 cores. Ryzen 5 7600 will simply run the game just as well as Ryzen 9 7950X, especially when you overclock the 7600 to have more than 5.3GHz single-core. I was also surprised how well it runs on my Ryzen 7 6800H on battery power with 2.5 hour battery life on the laptop (at 15W TDP). To think that I can have a playable X4 Foundations experience on battery power already just shows how good Ryzen 6000 APUs are.

    For the people who have no idea... The higher the resolution, the less relevant is the CPU..
    In this showcase, it was shown at 1080p, so on the lower resolution where CPU gets slightly involved more.
    But everything higher above 1080p, there is practically no difference between any of these CPU's. And instead of spending 100,200,300 bucks extra on a CPU, you should invest that money in a better GPU and get a LOT more value back.
    7600x is the way to go. Every pc tech youtuber will tell you the same. Its literally the best value you can have.

      At higher resolutions CPU makes less of a difference. Think of it as the CPU feeds X amount of frames to the GPU. If the GPU can only handle a certain amount of frames a better cpu wont make a difference. So you'll only notice diffrences in performance for these cpus at lower resolution.

    I hope you see this but please help me out I have the ryzen 7 7700x and my temps are so high when I have it at mat clock speed 5.5ghz like 80-90c when playing a game so I had to turn off clock boost and it gets good temps but lowers performance by a lot and I just don’t know how you’re keeping it so cool I have an aio and pretty good air flow it’s just the cpu please help

    Why 1080p

    • @waly787
      @waly787 2 года назад +15

      The CPU does more work at 1080p vs GPU @4K. Easier to compare CPU @ 1080p.

      With 1080p the more fps you get

    • @D.Enniss
      @D.Enniss 2 года назад

      If a CPU can't max out GPU usage then the bottleneck is on the CPU.
      If the test was done at 4K for e.g. there would be little FPS difference between the CPUs.
      Like so: ruclips.net/video/tLXHrEDzfNM/видео.html

    • @CTTechGaming
      @CTTechGaming 2 года назад

      because you see the performance of the CPUs at 1080p where as at 4K you're GPU Bound so the GPU holds the CPU back. this is the best way to see the improvements on CPU's

      @kimoliatisakimolia192 2 года назад +1

      A processor is tested for its capabilities at 720p, 1080p and low graphics settings, otherwise the graphics card enters the equation and the processor becomes the bottleneck, don't go crazy with processors if your resolution is above 1080p buy a better graphics card, a 5600x or 12600k is more than enough for 2k, 4k with ultra graphics.

    • @Exteliongamer
      @Exteliongamer 2 года назад +6

      U can only test cpu properly on 1080p 🤷🏻‍♂️ doing 1440p or4k will make u gpu bound so the cpu doesn’t really matter at that point cuz the different between most latest cpu will be minimal. This test is done to show the difference in performance of each cpu and not gpu hence the test was done by guy who post this is on 1080p.

      At 1080p, the point of using an overkill GPU is to ensure the CPU is the bottleneck, not the GPU. It's the most effective way to show the limitations of these chips.
