Hi Pete I suppose over the span of 50 odd years, it inevitable that some point neat fuel will be put in a 2 stroke, that’s what I think happened with this one, parts are readily available so fixing them isn’t to expensive, thanks for watching 🙂👍
@@GuysPlayingWithTools I have 2 of these, an older one without the Chain brake, I did buy this one intending to keep it, I’ve gotten better I do sell more than I use to, problem is good quality machines aren’t always easy to get again. I will sell the older one it just needs a new chain 🙂👍
Hi John these saws are my favourite your right they were made to last, they have the same engine as the disc cutters I have one of those as well. I’ll keep this one as it has the chain brake. Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi Rob I would imagine this is 50 plus year old saw, but the components were so well made very little plastic they were made to handle anything thrown at them, I love these Ond the ts350 dizzy cutters I have one of those as well, Thanks for watching 🙂👍
Hi mick I sort of expect it in these old 2 strokes, good thing is pattern parts are available and are quite reasonably priced so fixing these is well worth it, thanks for watching🙂👍
Look forward to part 2 hopefully the saw can live again 😀 👍
Hi part 2 should be up this week, thanks for watching 🙂👍
Good saws them sure it will live again.

Wow, the insides are nothing like a newer saw. that was really interesting!
Hi your right, I love the carbs on these, these old saws were so well made they are a great saw i shall be keeping this one, thanks for watching 🙂👍
@@menditman2004 careful, that's a slippery slope, you keep one, then the next one, then one that sounds cool...

@@menditman2004 Good call! Constantly upgrade yours and sell the stuff you don't fall in love with.
Good video Luke, thats a rather big piston for a saw it appears, back when they made them to last a while.
