Maturing is realising pleasure beach is class, especially with mates. All the coasters are top for the tiny space the park has, infusion is overhated and Valhalla is different stuff great theming, great ride and drenched for the rest of the day.
And icon is quality, the smoothest coaster in the country imo.
I onestly love this new version it gives me goosebumps everytime i go on it and the drops that surprised me on my first ride scared me and my family cause we thought ot was like the old one but i love this one and cant wait to go on the 19th of july
Was my fave ride as a child! Used to give me goosebumps! Would love to go on it again one day
It’s not as good as it was but if everything is working it can still be very good
The best part of it was hearing the the death screams of Valhalla..

Going back Friday went on It during tech rehearsal love the audio on the turntable it's like it's saying ok relaxing lazy river ride is over now here comes the thrilling water ride part
The story led audio does make a lot of sense to have
Ive been on this like 5 times 5/5 rating its one of the best rides ive been on!🎉😊
It definitely felt like a lot of changes were made to cut back on opersting costs (removal of a turn table, wind effects, ice room, lightning and a lot of the fire) BUT it feels a lot wetter, it does what its supposed to, i just miss the part where you look out of the cave

Im going on Valhalla when I go there in a week and 5 days
I remember going on this ride the first time before it was shut and refurbed.
I remember being terrified of the darkness and the drops but actually I realise now that’s part of the fun.
I’m actually going to give this another go when I visit the pleasure beach in June.
I wonder how steep the drops are? :)

I FELL OF BC I WAS TO SMALL , I MEAN LIKE I KEPT JUMPING OUT MY SEAT I HAD TO HOLD ON TO MY MUM
The biggest problem with this ride is it is too wet and they have not come up with a good solution for getting water out of the boats. In the cold weather nobody is going to want to ride this. 😳🤠
Boat drainage is still a big issue
@@yourexperienceguide Thanks for your reply I wanted to know if you made a drain hole at the rear of the boats above the water line and put a sloping floor under the back seat up to the hole. Would this make the boats self-draining as they go up the lift hill?
Yeah I thought after closing for over 3 years they would have figured out how to prevent the boats being flooded.....
The idea of a POV is that youre a rider, from that Point Of View.
Valhalla (some would say thankfully) has no reverse seats where you follow the adventures of the riders, rather than the ride itself.
On a channel with over 20 million views you can be assured we know what a POV is 😉
BPB didn’t allow on ride POVs so rider cams were the next best thing.
Cool Video! How many drops are there? And do you think can someone with controlled HB pressure can go on this ride, considering the drops it has? Really appreciate your advice

Backwards drop has been changed, it’s now a forwards drop.
Each to their own. Wasn't anything special imo

I'm so sad I went to Blackpool pleasure Beach but valhalla was closed
Kept having technical issues on the 18th never opened till after 2pm and just barely got on it after waiting an hour cause of the issues. Was still great but obviously still not fully fixed.
They’ve definitely not taken the unreliability issues out of it

On the first drop i feel like they could add some models and designs on the walls also with a few lights so you can actually see them, the darkness of the tunnels is good in my opinion
Although you will be going tjat fast you wont have time to see the models
Can't beat the old design for me. Removing the backwards drop was a big mistake. Pc gone mad once again. Great to see Mike with a smile on his face though, top man.

It was removed to stop the constant technical issues
@@yourexperienceguide I spent a good 24 hours contemplating life, searching my soul to find a reason, just a tiny little bit of truth in the idea it was something to do with political correctness.
@@AnonymousSuperTuber Even if it were removed because of "the danger of it", that's not political correctness. What company wants to risk being sued by operating something potentially dangerous?
Never been on this but im going on it in march with my cousin im a tiny bit scared lol
I'll give this six months till the new effects start breaking and they never fix them, in the classic and time-honoured Pleasure Beach tradition.

I rode on the last operating weekend of the season (end of nov) just before park close, it was a wall on and I swear EVERYTHING worked perfectly, there was a lot more fire than in this vid it was an incredible experience, but I know I just got very lucky. It was perfect also as I was taking my new partner to my childhood park and wanted him to be impressed and it delivered, the whole park did, apart from big one already being closed for retracking, suprised they couldn't wait until the end of the season
This time I went on my sis forced me to then we did ent know there was 2 massive drops like the Pepsi max lol
the pleasure beach 80s 90s was amazing just brilliant now its just dull! the magic and the sparkle gone,,, before it was packed with rides and endless fun now it cost so much and you cant pay with cash its hard to fill a full day in there it all went to the wall when the log drop was scrapped and they tried to compete with other coaster parks they had the big one)) now the rough one! and wooden coasters are just back breakers! I will never return there I might have for Valhalla but watching your vlog it just looks like a ride is based on the back streets of Blackpool on a rainy day in the dark! your money much better spent at Alton Towers I enjoy watching your channel for the glory days

Although tempting to go straight on icon. I’d say save it for after you’ve done the other coasters u want to first. Maybe start w infusion to get it out the way n tango ice blast gets u goin

Ride in this order; Avalanche, Nickelodeon Streak, Revolution, Steeplechase, Skyforce and then work your way around in any order from there
What is the average wait time like? And how steep is the big drop (psyching myself up for when we go over next week). Do you think if my kid wore a noise cancelling headset that they would stay on?
Depends how long the queue is at the time
There's one decent sized drop and a few small ones I don't think they'd fall off but it depends on what you want to do about it. You'd be able to hold onto them perfectly fine. About queue times it depends on time of day but it always stays around 60 mins but it's very much worth it
Today it went from a 45 minute wait to a 75 minute wait around 3:30pm. But absolutely worth the wait to experience it.
I watched your video and i live in US booked a flight for next week just to come to pleasure beach i hope i love it gonna be first time in Uk really excited to experience valhalla any other MUST DO rides at this park

Ever since the Blackpool trip at my school was announced I started watching all ur bppb vids and I'm so excited to ride the big one imagine if u show up on the 17th of july
We went on this a few months ago and I literally couldn't believe that they offered nowhere at all to put your bags when it's such a wet ride. Moronic operations, I hope this has changed. It was ok apart from that.
It’s always been like this, it’s the same on most water rides

@@moopmoop345 Not saying it’s correct, just saying it’s always been like this. They do have lockers a 5 minute walk away from Valhalla.
I didn't see the lockers, I'll make sure to use them next time. To be honest I went on completely unaware what sort of ride it was and found out the hard way that it was a drencher. There are obviously indications around like the ponchos and the drying machines but it's one of the wettest rides I've been on recently so I was surprised!

Hardly Disney or Universal standard. Disappointing given it was years in the remodeling and all the hype that went with it

i went on it last week. it was great!! you get soaked and there were some really cool effects and things that the go pro didn't pick up. trust me its amazing
Ride layout is the same except the backwards drop is now a forwards drop. Too dark to show the whole ride on a GoPro.
@@yourexperienceguide yeah a bit disappointed the backwards drop isn't there anymore, possibly to make it more family friendly? idk but its still a great ride with astonishing scenery

I went on it today and it was boring, just darkness with no exciting theme's. Valhalla was better beforehand. Valhalla sucks and it stinks of gas. River Caves is better than Valhalla now

Pleasure Beach has destroyed Valhalla. The ride looks very different now to how you’re showing it on media day. You’re glossing over the many problems that exist with the ride - be honest with your viewers.
Media day was 14 days ago Paul, and this video was filmed on media day. The ride is as unreliable as ever, but we got one shot at filming in there and this is what came of it.
Problems that probably can't be solved. It broke down constantly today even though I managed to get on it
@@masterknife8423 yeah I was on one that broke down Saturday very first ride too we broke down before the second smaller drop had to climb out
Worst bit of video footage I think I have ever seen. Surely when you were editing it you could see it was worthless in terms of viewers sharing the experience. As it stands, I could do that by opening the cupboard door under the stairs, climbing in and closing the door.
