How about get 2 books. Color one like a kid would. No shading, blending, etc. Color the other one like you normally do and then compare them. Might be fun and interesting.

Absolutely loved it, I'm getting this colouring book, your the first artist ever to say that a colouring book is just guidelines and you can add your own lines etc instead of just colouring the flat picture! I'm definitely doing this in the future 👍
Honestly it's funny to me that he's constantly reminding people that art is just supposed to be fun and you need to just do whatever you're happy with instead of trying to spend all your time on one thing, and then he says he has no idea why anybody would doodle instead of making full realistic art pieces.

Wdym by this? Its a lot more quality than anything else hes used and coloring books allow to divert so much more attention to colouring and colouring practice than normal drawing which is definitely its own art sudo medium in a way that also allows instant improvement.

Just wanted to let you know that you were the reason I got into coloring. I used to only doodle in pencil on the side every now and then but after your videos, I decided to buy some markers. (48 alcohol base JHF Art markers for $25 on Amazon.) Earlier today, my boss at work saw me drawing on my break like I always do and she asked if I had any other pieces of art. I showed her some of the stuff I did in pencil and then the newer stuff I had done in marker and now she is going to show off my art at the college dining hall on Halloween for everyone to see. (I'm a student employee at the dining hall on campus.) I'm really hyped about it and I definitely would not have this happening to me without the motivation I have gotten from your videos! I thought the same thing, several drawings are very similar to Kerby´s books.
I have a lot of Kerby Rosanes' books and this feels like a complete rip off even down to how they have named the book.
