I’m over here with my crayola supertips which are the most expensive markers I’ve ever had and the best quality ones.
Is yours good? Im using my aldi markers and wow! The colour brightness is amazing. Blending is abit harder
But i would be damnd if i am spending the same amount money for a good used car on markers. I will accept it as a gift though.
The crayola supertips are really good quality for a low price. If you like doing calligraphy a dupe is the crayola supertips. I really recommend them. I have never tried the Aldi markers but maybe I will
The only problem is when you overlay them the colour gets dark and gets uneven

You can't expect a water based marker to be the same as an alcohol marker. But children can still get love for art from them. We all aspire to have a full set of copics. Not just a few. But we have to balance life out, with our wants and needs.

"Posh kid compares two totally different mediums and complains because they don't perform the same" would be a more accurate title. Furthermore crayola markers aren't the worst reviewed markers at all, in fact, they are probably the best student grade water based markers for kids according to tons of reviews.
Agreed, of course the expensive markers would perform better (in this situation) anyone could correctly guess that. This video is just a five minute long advertisement for his coloring book as no new information was found.

Crayola vs Copic!
For me it's not all about the materials being used but how creative and talented the person using it. No matter how expensive the materials are, if you're not even good at it, it's useless. Just saying 😊 Stay safe guys and God bless.

i used the very felt tips he is using and copics, i can get the best result with copics, since they are professional grade, just think if you're using lest say shitty poster paint, do you think you could do a highly detailed still life with those materials, yes it is down to the materials or artists would use fuck all cheap art supplies

Also water-based (Crayola) vs. alcohol-based (Copics) - huge difference.
This video proves that you don’t need to have an expensive and quality materials to make an awesome artwork. Making an awesome artwork is not on the materials but it’s really on who the artist is and the skills he/she can do with those materials.

I know right, I'm just deciding to buy these. 😂 I also use tombow dual brush pens that are also water based like the crayolas and they work really well for gradients! 💖 I also do a lot of handlettering!

I got 346 Copic markers
This doesn’t seem very fair, but then again I have an unfair advantage perhaps. I’ve been using Crayola markers for years and have gotten results very similar to Copic markers with some practice and the right tools. I honestly believe they’re great, and can work really well as a more budget friendly alternative
Ok just gonna say for the record that crayola was (and still is) my favorite marker, and hey for 50 cents per marker they're not bad. Great illustration tho, loved it.

The “terrible markers” are actually pretty good you don’t need a pack of markers that cost $3,000 to have good art
Yup the dude comes off as a snob. The crayola markers may not have the best materials, but it gets the job done if you want color and it is affordable for the average consumer

I think I should try the touch markers with the copic ones, it would be something balanced since they are both alcohol-based, unlike the Crayola ones, which are water-based, and clearly how do you compare something professional To something school or something for an audience

I think they are both equally as good, it's just that the Crayola markers are made for children so obviously they aren't professional markers. but if you do want to make something really nice and like professional I guess then the Coptic markers are the ones for you (if your willing to pay $10,000)
