  • ‪@atomstack.official‬ sent over their most powerful laser to date, and I had to jump in and see what it could cut. In this video, I'll compare the A30 Pro to the A20 so you can get a better feel for the upgrade in power.

Steve, the focus tool is magnetic and I simply stand it up right behind the usb & power cable then I always know where it is when I need it.

This one is better than the Sculpfun machines with the aluminum rod but I still prefer something that's not loose. They just have a tendency to wander away from the laser.

Steve, I have an A20 and I have to run my laser at around 300mm/m at 100% to get reliable cuts out of 3mm BB. I would love to know why mine seems so under powered compared to yours. I love the new cone design as it seems like it would really protect the lens cover better. I have already had to replace mine once and do not look forward to doing it again as the extra covers from Atomstack are pricy. I believe you mentioned it was possible to replace just the lens cover and not the entire brass fitting? Did I understand that correctly? If so do you know where one can get the lens covers without the brass fitting? I would love to lay my hands on some of those. Also wondering if they might sell the cone as an upgrade for the A20? Do you have any contact within Atomstack to find this out? Thanks for the video. Was very informative.

Ikier K1 pro 24 W or AtomStack A30 pro what is your opinion

I like the simplicity of the A30, it just works. The Autofocus on the iKier is slow, when it works. I'd rather have the quick focus plate and knob adjustment. Power wise they are close but again, the Atomstack has a little more power to help get through material faster.

Nice job! Did you see the new 24W/48W laser they announced...iKier/Atomstack K1 Pro Max: 48W

I did see the switchable 24/48 laser they announced. I have the K1 Pro 24w in my shop now, would love to check out a 40w machine. I'm not sure the rationale behind the switching option other than a smaller focus point.

@@Vintauri I agree, I think it will only help with fine engraving...nice to have.

@@VintauriIf it could be controlled from the software it would be even better. 24W to engrave then switch to 48w to cut without manual intervention.

bro, just for curious, in this reviews they give the machine to you free, or you need return for they after review?

It depends on the agreement. I usually request to keep it and then I find good homes for them as I don’t need them all.
