    @10:02 it's nice that the shield is removable. I don't think I would ever keep mine on.. I am waiting on my Comgrow 20watt laser but I don't think it's shield is removable. I do have an idea of marking the sides with a sharpie right where the laser should be located. I think this will give me a better idea of where the laser will burn when I frame it in lightburn

      On the Comgrow, the shield isn't removable, you can take the glass out but it is still very hard to see.

    I love my x& Pro and it is all I can do to maintain control and not pull the trigger on the x30 with the e85 extension kit until I see some real world reviews like this.

    I've picked up the xTool 40 Watt 'upgrade'. I have not had time to set it up on my extended 20w unit though. I'm dying to try it because at 40 watts 1/2" is possible from what I have been told and seen. I'm not working 1/2" materials a lot, but can't ever have enough power! Here's hoping Clack Shack can do a review soon as well.

      I haven't tried the 40 watt but it 1/2 inch can be cut with multiple passes on some of my other machines.

    Hi Thank you for detailed video,
    Can you plz suggest best engraver and cutting for beginners, which one to buy , criyality, sculptfun , or atomstack ?

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  2 месяца назад

      That depends on intended use, needs, size requirements and budget. I have many reviews on good machines but each has different strong points

    Other than the head power, it looks like exactly the same setup as my A20. Question. Is the USB connection in the control box solid or does it wiggle around when plugged in? Mine really has a ton of play which has always bothered me. And I SO VERY MUCH agree with your assessment about where the cables come out. WHY does it have to come out the top? I wonder if the Module will work with my A20 setup since they look so similar?

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  Год назад

      It does look very similar but I cannot say if the modules would work or not.

    Random question but I think you can help. I use Lightburn and have dealt with an issue since day one. Recently I got an Atomstack A30 Pro and the same problem exists so I figured I would dig a little deeper. The issue is when I go to frame anything, the laser head moves just a bit then the whole thing just locks up until I power it down. Is there any way you could share screenshots of your lightburn settings for this A30 Pro? Settings, machine settings & device settings perhaps? Thanks for your help and keep the great videos coming!

    I've always wondered if the Adamstack and the Atzer were made by the same company.

    How is the detail on the 33watt? The stronger laser has a little larger laserspotsize (0.08x0.1mm compared to 24w that has 0.06x0.08mm)
    Is it still smal enough or do you miss out on detail becaus of this?

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  Год назад +1

      It is not very noticeable compared to most 20 watt machines.

    I placed an order two days later I got an email that they were out of stock. They offered a more expensive version because as they wrote these are available. I agreed and placed a new order after they returned the money. Two days later I got an email saying that this one is also out of stock! This company is a scam.

    • @TheClackShack
      @TheClackShack  Год назад

      It may be that they are seriously out of stock. I have dealt with Atomstack before and they are a real company. They were doing a pretty heavy advertising campaign and could have sold all of the stock.

    I have the X30 Pro where did you go to change the speed from 6000 to 18000? I have the same issues when I do burn tests. I know I am not getting the most efficient use out of the laser right now. Thank you 🙏
