  • In this video I will review and test the Atomstack A70 Pro, one of the most powerful diode laser engravers on the market today, boasting a 70W diode laser module! Compared to its predecessors, the Atomstack A70 Pro also has a significantly improved mechanical gantry, allowing it to achieve faster speeds and better precision. In this video I will test to see what the Atomstack A70 Pro can really do through a series of practical real-life tests.

You have got a cutting beast with that machine! I love the autofocus and the 10mm black acrylic looks like a good cut but the 44mm wood... oh, wow, not much burning, very good!

It makes me wonder just how much further they can go with power on these diode lasers. It would certainly need an enclosure. Congratulations to the winner of the WeCreat.

They can definitely go further, but I agree, enclosure will be needed.

I'm new to the game and using your videos to determine which one to buy. Currently i'm focussed on the Sculpfun S30 ultra 33w as it is a nice allround entry level machine. This one looks very nice but price goes up a bit. Why would it need an enclosure though?

Good choice. Enclosure helps to retain the smoke an odors and vent them controllably out through a hose. Without enclosure your room will fill with smoke when cutting if it is not well ventilated.

$1700! Wow these diodes are getting real expensive fast!

Agree, but the quality and power is also going up exponentially!

can it cut 3mm thick white and clear acrylic?

No. Diode lasers are not good for these two colors of acrylic
