The fact that you guys can fix whatever problems that pop up just shows the good old American can do attitude. I love it.
Thank you for putting the date in your videos. Especially for us farmer types who look at your crops!
I suggested it to them too I really appreciate it
This is so much cooler than the "Hey guys, we spent 1230234789qw0t483124230423098 dollars for this brand new header!" types of videos. That goes for yout trucks, tractors, bins, all of it. Such a great philosophy of farming and life!
Exactly.
I feel the Welkers are a lot more authentic and more in line with most farmers across the country.
I enjoy both types.
Not alot to the heads for being worth100k
You're spot on. Not just calling out the dealer mechanic. Jackson brothers in are similar.
Now that is what we want to see: real engineering being done on the farm, the way farmers do it! That was an ingenious way to straighten that header. Never seen it done that way before, but it obviously works because it is so much straighter than it was. Like that you used a much longer length of pipe to re sleeve the joint, it adds a bit of rigidity to the frame. At least the extensions weren't welded on before, that would have been nasty to fix. Thanks from UK.
Thanks for watching!
@@WelkerFarms can we see the big buds again
The work you guys do is awesome! I'm a retired body man and to watch you guys straighten that header is a piece of greatness !!!
I want to say this; I'm so glad you guys decided to start filming your activities in the day to day life of Welker Farms. You guys work as a family , that is rare in todays world. You tube is a much better platform because your here please don't stop . Been watching for a long time. Stay true. to God and family. As Journey once said don't stop believing . God Bless stay well until next time.
There's nothing you guys can't modify to make it work! Mr Bob should be extremely proud!
I am👍
Outstanding mechanics and fabricators. Bob should be proud of his boys.
I am👍
Love the way you guys fix it first before just replacing
I love resourceful ppl.
We have a 2152 here in Australia and they are known for breaking in the middle, ours has a cable running over the top for bracing
It's videos like this one that I absolutely love! Quite a few of the other farm tubers would have immediately been on the phone to the local dealer. It's not stupid if it works! Take care and God bless!
This is why Welkers are my #1
Farmers doing what farmers do- taking two halves and making a whole!
Thanks for the "blessing', please rejoice that many of us have returned a blessing your way.
Thanks for another great video Welkers.
It was so much interesting and informative and enjoyable to watch for sure.
About the time I think the Welkers have done all that can be done to fix something, then they come up with another even more amazing project. Like taking the bend out of a header for the combine. Now how many would attempt that-not many!!!! But then in walks the Welkers and well, we can fix that bend. Wow and wow.
I am totally impressed that you got the bend out of that header and knew what to bend where and then weld what needed welding to hold it in place.
You folks are awesome in fixing farm equipment and I doubt if too many that built it in the first place know how to do what you all just did!!!!!!!!! My compliments to each and every one of you- - you are absolutely awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You can all be on my team anytime!!!!!
When you get the fine points of that header fixed and or adjusted, you will have a close to new header!!!!!! Nice 👍.
Doing well with your sprayer until the hose broke. Scott did a quick hose fix and back to the field for more spraying. Very little down time on that one. Nice work.
Nick you did a good job trying to fix the heater core on the new truck. But too many leaks so will need a new part there. Some are just not fixable. Good try. The other cooler you were able to fix. Win one, lose one. Not bad.
Got the hood on and ready to go. Getting closer and closer to done all the time. Yeah!!!!!!
About it I believe. I am still blown away on you folks taking the bend out of that header. Not many would attempt that.
You three made it look easy, not a problem, can do!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do sincerely appreciate your talents and the investment you save by being able to fix these high dollar items. Wonderful!!!!!!!!
I don’t think you all really understand the importance of your talents and how much it means to the overall farm operation!!!!!!!!
I am amazed at you all. Be on my team anytime!!!!!!!!!
You all take care and be safe. Sending my prayers and blessings for some RAIN 🌧️ to help your crops!!!!!!!!!
Take care my dear friends!!!!
The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
😊👍👋🙏🙏✅🇺🇸🇺🇸
Always giving kudos......thank you much Steve👍
Your exploration of these heavy-duty machines and their capabilities is both fascinating and informative. By showcasing the comparison between a powerful pay loader and a massive combine header, you've provided valuable insights into industrial machinery and their applications. Your video is sure to captivate audiences interested in engineering, agriculture, and technology. Well done on delivering engaging content that educates and entertains!
Perfect example of farmer helping farmer/ neighbor helping neighbors!!!!!!!!!
Hope lots of 🎆🎇🎆 in the Big Sky tonight! Happy 4th 🇺🇸 Welker Farms family and be safe! Thank y'all for farmin', fixin' and feedin' 🇺🇸 !
Salute to the Welker family’s ingenuity! Have a Happy and Safe 4th!
I love it when a plan comes together!! Great work on the header! Wow! Twist it here, twist it there!
Such a good feeling to see your fields so healthy and green, such good people.
Love the way you guys always work together. Great video!😊
Nick that is called forward thinking angle adjustment. As soon as you said it was slightly forward I thought that just gives you a little room "if" you happen to gently hit something during harvest. Thanks for sharing. BTW as I was watching this my wife looked over when your dad was in the frame and said hey your wearing the same hat he is. LOL Remember you all have lots of support all over this beautiful country. Wishing you all a great growing season. Blessings
Hats 'on' to your wife noticing😊
Always enjoy Robert jumping in and getting his hands dirty.
My experience in fixing coolant leaks in radiators is extensive. It tells me that I will be fixing a leak in a different spot 9 months to a year and they come faster after that. I hope you have a better experience.
All I could think about
I bought your tumbler and it just got here, this thing is so cool
Awesome video guys. thank you
I love how you go by "when we bend it again...." instead of "if"!!! 😂 Hopefully, the skid plates that you are having fit will help to prevent that from happening again. I'm just wondering if you can get the skid plates modified so the leading edge lifts up like a ski so they can't dig into anything? 🤔 Definitely looking farward to seeing that truck working on your farm, it's looking great!!! 😊👍👍👍👍
Great video guys and another great fix!!!
Coming from a long time fisherman. I love your use of the equipment at hand. keep up the good work and God Bless
The brute force you applied to that header...I was holding my breath that nothing was going to bend on the feeder house.
Jerry rig fixes are always the most fun, especially when they work!
I've noticed the air chisel come into play a few times lately. I'm starting to think that it is an under-rated piece of kit and can shift tight stuff like nothing else. Great work guys 😁😁
After sitting I am not worried about the oil I do check to make sure it hasn’t leaked coolant or diesel into the oil pan
So great to see a video from the Welker farm I enjoy your videos so very much god bless you and your families
Another amazing piece of ingenuity!! Have a safe and happy 4th of July
Not wanting to be an armchair quarter back but if you would use a string line across the front of the header it would give you a good reference. Love you family tenacity while working. Stay safe !
Well done, carry on.
Yall are doing an amazing job on that truck. If you keep your eyes on the gauges that ol B model will run forever.
Hope you guys get some rain. We have certainly been blessed with abundant rain in Alabama, this year. Praying the Lord gives you a bountiful harvest.
The Peterbilt is looking cool with a fresh coat of paint and I like the colors on the Peterbilt and your other semi truck and what if both of your semi trucks went to a truck show which both of your semi trucks look awesome
Professional that's what you are professionals
Well y'all have done yourselves on this video it was pretty interesting at least I thought it was...
Nick still waiting on the update of your house so please do this for us viewers
Get yourself some "silver solder" or refrigeration solder to mend you copper tubing. It is stronger and makes nicer appearing patches.
On weekends we straighten car and truck frames. Very nicely done!
Well done with how y'all thought this out. I've always thought if it could be fixed rather than by a new one That was the way to go good job. 🙂🙏🙂
Once you get the frame straight, take some flat iron or rod and bridge it on that back bone your pushing on, It will add a lot of strength and prevent it from happening again. Im a retired farmer and used have a welding shop and have done this a lot of times. Your approaching this right with the equipment you have. Good job!!
All that open space and someone still managed to hit the header .🤣🤪
Even Montana has hilly country
Nice to see green crops in your videos this year compared to the last couple years
You Welker boys are pretty innovative. Way to go!!
well done on the header.🤩👍👍
Great video!
Hey guys, behind on videos. I just watched Scott paint the engine from couple weeks ago. I gotta say it’s first time I’ve seen an airless on mechanics type spraying & I painted over 30 years.
Can you guys do a crop tour soon? Curious to see how things are doing
I'm sure pulling for you guys to have great crops this year!
I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again, you guys are way too clever for your own good
Stay safe!
You guys are my favorite farmers ever you guys are so entertaining❤❤
Back to Farming!!!! Yay
Happy Fourth Welkers
Love your videos
B-Spine isn't leaking; he's marking his territory.😅
edit: "Beast-bine?"
Another good thing done, you boys know your stuff, should imagine dads well proud to.
Some times you win and sometimes lose, but you got to give it a try! Good work!
Most of those copper pipe repairs can be made with Sil-phos rod and something near a #4 brazing tip with oxy/acety. Be sure to control the heat so you don’t overheat other joints with either a heat trap product or a wet rag wrapped around joints you don’t want to liquify other joints…
15% silphos is great to work with…
Is there going to be a final video of hollywoods and legarm of the completed houses.
You had to go past its plane of bend. I believe it is the word you were thinking of nick. Great video guys!
Look pretty straight now = Good job guy's and of course GOD BLESS.....
Old F-4 II Shoe🇺🇸
I may have used a builders laser, but if Leg Arms says its ok, good enough for me.
Using machinery is the best way to get rid of dents. I’ve got a carry all which is very bent so anyway to get back in line we had to park heavy tractor on the carry all while I was pushing the 3 point linkage part with the other tractor. It did help a little but still a bit bent
That was interesting
I had a hand sprayer with round up break on me. Well that’s also going to result in some dead grass. Thankfully I’m just a small area. 😊⛳️
Did something similar to the corn planter. It’s been holding up well for 11 seasons.
All that work because Leg Arms lost his big pipe wrench! Excellent video and God bless you all!
cool fabricating🎉🎉
Enjoyed that lads😂😂😂😂❤
I sure would like to see some videos of the houses to see how they turned out.
Fix, fix,fix best way to save $$$! Crop report, Home report...? ✝😎👍
Gotta do what we can do with what we have.
Crop report coming soon, in a nutshell, it is so so 😔
House report will come eventually but lots to do before final reveal.
Thanks for watching!
Awesome video
You should talk to the Browns and get yourself a Power Ladder for the combines 😊
You should think about flex heads then. Maybe that will help when you need to cut it lower. Can always lock them rigid if need be.
they are mostly flat grounded, and flex headers are expensive, so i think that's why.
btw i guess you need trailer for flex header and it is one more complication...
@GreenWarfare why would you need a trailer for a flex header? I run a flex head and road it. The cutter bar can bounce up and down but it has limits. I just think a header that has give won't get messed up as easily because it can bounce over rocks and not ram into them.
Nice Vid!
Thanks I need to do the same to my fd 75
Not often, brute force is the answer, but in this case it sure was!
Them seeds are amazing
🔥great repair to header🔥👊🔥🔨⚙️🏍🚜
Interesting you added the dates day parts video
Month/ day / year
In the uk 🇬🇧
It’s
Day / month/ year
lol takes a second or two to figure out what day it was lol 😂
any updates on the new homes? Nick???
❤ from Norway
That truck will be soldering on for a long time!
Should be! Can't wait to get it on the road! More to come!
There’s probably a third combine coming soon
Thats a smart way of bending back a header but why didn't you heat the bend part up? And are ypu not worried to bend the feederhouse of the combine thats a lot of torque.
I'd pull the dip stick maybe not to check the oil but to check for antifreeze
Leg arms always tooting his own horn. 😂
very good
Just for the record you can braze copper. Built a copper exhaust for my dad’s four wheeler. He wanted it he got it
Actually seen a first today never seen on RUclips saw case header on a John Deere Combine doing wheat
Awesome video guys. Just curious, how wide is that header?
🚜🚜🚜
Nice video and god bless
You should try tuning flux it's acid based and would do a better job , Nick
