      @@924PHOTOGRAPHY when shooting outside Im usually doing run n gun solo without an assistant(s). So while I have 2 AD200's and quite enjoy them, I really wanna run around with 1 light if I can.
      Because I can strap a stand + modifier to my bag.. and throw a streaklight in the bag. At most.. I can rock a 2 light set up if Im traveling light. And throw a second light stand onto my backpack.
      Inside the bag I could store 2 s2 brackets with a streaklight & ad200.
      The xplor600 would be more for when I can drive to a location and use my wagon to drag my stuff around.
      But runnin around nyc with no car..

      Jose Guirola you should be able to get a trigger for the Flashpoint for 49. You’ll get the most benefit from using Flashpoint trigger. I love everything I have seen about this light. The only thing is no one ever speaks about the light settings and everyone says you can shoot HSS and the light just knows when you are going o shoot in it. But not one person has said that you have to have a camera that supports HSS in order to shoot HSS. I made that mistake but the SB700's thinking of the things I would be able to do outside in the day time. I was wrong as I didn't know at the time the D5000 Nikon doesn't support HSS.. Thanks great video...

      Thanks for the reply. Here is an answer I received from another photographer and his youtube channel. This is the answer that makes people buy and then go oh crap now I need a new camera.. lol Here is his reply - Hi, All cameras support HSS it's the trigger and flash that has to support HSS not the camera. HSS isn't a very common way of shooting as it's not very reliable. That's why we shoot in manual 99% of the time. I hope this helps!

    Hello! I would like to ask you a question about the Godox AD600BM. So from what I understand the manual strobes generally do not support the HSS as to have the HSS they must be TTL strobes. So how does the manual AD600BM get HSS?

    • @924PHOTOGRAPHY
      @924PHOTOGRAPHY  4 года назад +1

      PALU the manual ones will do HSS.

    Great video, but if I got it right, I only see the flashpoint 360 light? Did you use the flashpoint xplor600 but did just not show it? Thanks!

    • @924PHOTOGRAPHY
      @924PHOTOGRAPHY  7 лет назад +1

      tosvus thank you! The 600 was the main light the whole time and the 360 was just a backlight for a few images.

    Thinking about getting the flashpoint. Why the TTL versus non? thanks

    • @924PHOTOGRAPHY
      @924PHOTOGRAPHY  7 лет назад +1

      Robin Overacre the TTL Version helps when you're in a time crunch and it pretty accurate, but when I teach my workshops I teach in manual mode. I believe everyone should know how to use their system without relying on the auto. If you know it then it doesn't matter because you're good in any situation. So, when you don't have to think about all the tech aspects then ttl is your best friend
