I really like your organization improvements. One thing is for sure, buyers can purchase items from you and know they have been well looked after and are in good condition.
Hello Karen. You are so organized and efficient. I absolutely love your basement. Watching your channel inspires me so much. It was nice to see Roger...you two are a beautiful couple. Enjoy your day. 💜
Wow! Love it! First time I’ve seen Roger talk so much. Love it, want more. You too are so cute together. Maybe Roger will talk about his business sometime. Love you guys!, That brass piece goes on the straps of the leather of a horse harness for driving a wagon most likely. It is decoration or medallion for a horse harness.
Karen, On that brilliantly colored gorgeous Modcloth sweater: if it has a "pull" on the outside of the garment, it's a breeze to hide it by taking a small crochet hook and pulling the loose thread/yarn through the fabric to the wrong side of the garment... the "flaw" just disappears! (I still note it in the description, but it doesn't detract from the sweater's appearance since it's now on the inside and doesn't show on the outside.) Piece of cake!
Hi Karen, The video was so timely and appreciated. I am in the process of turning my hobby into a full time business and brainstorming layout and storage options for my basement. Thanks so much for sharing - you inspire me.
I love your organization system!! It looks so neat and tidy. I also love how you pre=package each clothing item. They look so much better and shows you care about your items! A big hooray to you!!!!
Great Video Karen. You are a champion. You deserve to wear that belt! Congratulations to you and your successful business. 👏 Love seeing you & Roger sharing your favorite interests together. Have a great new week.
Karen. Hello . The brass item you showed with the WC FIELDS type man, you thought was a bottle opener is actually British. 18th century horse tack decoration ( on halter and martingale attachment) used with draft horses for show. The one u have is collectable, but not very desirable. The silhouette is probably from the show producer. Most sought after are the heart ones. The bar actually attaches to a leather piece which attaches to a buckle. S
Just finished organizing my space. Sam’s Club sells Seville Classics Shelving with wheels (when they are not out of stock). Mine are 48” x 72” x 18” for $99 and they have five shelves. I have tall ceilings in my basement so I can load up tall items on the top. Thanks always for your inspiration you help me stay motivated 🥰🙌🏻
💕Karen how nice seeing Roger. He is HANDSOME. My goodness. You are a good looking couple. But most importantly you are a couple who are genuine & kind in this world! 💕
Not a lavender satchel, but a charcoal satchel- they absorb bad smells and moisture in homes and cars etc and to sanitize/recharge- you place in the sun for a day I believe ♥️
I recently found your channel am in absolute AWE of your organization and cleanliness! I am 59 and just starting in a very tiny way and can only IMAGINE pulling things together and having inventory packed in such an amazing manner!😮
Hi Karen!! I say that like I know you!! Lol I watch your videos all the time!! I will be listing and turn on your playlist!!! You keep me motivated!! I hope to be as organized as you one day!! Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!
Yes, if I had a home with a basement I would definitely love a reseller’s storage like yours. I like a very clean, organized area anywhere in my home. Your hard work shows. ♥️
I think you have the best set up for your products. I would absolutely love to have a full basement set up similar to yours. Thank you for sharing your organizational skills for unorganized people like me. :)
Your organization process is enviable. Thank you so much for sharing it all! It is sooooo helpful!! You’ve done a lot of hard work and have learned a lot, and I’m so grateful you share so openly. On a side note, I haven’t seen Roger before but you make a lovely couple!
Love your storage system. When we purchased our home 6 years ago, we looked until we found one perfect for reselling. Our basement has one room as laundry, one room family room and the rest is all our reselling inventory rooms. Similar to yours but at this moment not quite as organized because we moved items down from our attic while a new roof is being put on the house next week. The old owner (original owner and builder of the house) had a wood shop in the basement, when we walked in we knew it was perfect for what we were looking for. It is so nice to have everything right here and handy. I use an extra bedroom for my incoming items, especially since I often did clean-outs and have that almost all organized (slowed down when suddenly developed Inflammatory Rheumatoid Arthritis). I am going to look into the shelving units you buy, mine are very heavy even on wheels. Just started selling locally and get so many people asking for cell phone numbers and wanting codes, do you find that happening to you?
We use these same shelves in the 48” width. You can condense and buy extra shelves from the vendor. We use one less so once we put 5 units together we just buy 4 poles and we have a new shelving unit. I love organization and you are organized! Love your videos!
Hi Karen! Love love love your videos.Have you thought of having a small trolley down in the basement ,to place all the shipping you pull , rather than going back to the table with each individual item ? Just a thought !♥️
The walking back and forth is good exercise - not that you don't get in an abundance of steps during your thrifting trips! I don't think you are ever going to lack for exercise!
If it were possible to get more organized, you have.😊 An idea, get a small rolling basket/cart you can roll to each pull instead of going back and forth.🤷🏿♀️❤
You do an excellent job with the items you purchase and that is a plus! People really should be so well pleased with the care you take in the things you sell. I really like your new organization changes. Anything that makes it easier for you. You have a large inventory!! Ty for sharing. I so enjoyed Roger being on the video! He is such a gentleman!
OMG!! Always loved your fab organized basement!! Yep, if I had that huge room, I'd go big. Have no room, stuff is in boxes in my bathtub and stuffed in my overstuffed closet. Your basement has given you a re-seller's life! And you are awesome at it, educating us out here, too. So kind.
I live in Connecticut and our basements are just like where you live, they are as big as the house, love it🤗💕.. I’m in the process of cleaning out my basement so I can organize my inventory🤗
I love your videos and what you find. You explain your thought process and explain things very well. You and Roger are fun, I'm happy for you. You describe everthing so well, plus your organisation is amazing. I would love to have a storage basement too. Thank you for sharing your behind the scenes information. I live in Germany now, and although they don't have shops like Goodwill, I shop or hunt for treasures at flea markets in summer, or at social shops. Rarely a village will have a garage sale day. I would like to start an eBay business. It's not as easy to do things as it is in America. At the moment my house is so full of items, I really need a place to work and store in. Your basement is a clever idea. Wishing you well. Love from Germany. 💕
Hi Karen. Great video! The brass is an English horse brass. It depicts Tom Cobleigh from the Devon folk song "Widecombe Fair". I've just listed one exactly the same in my Etsy shop!
Hi Karen(: Love your videos! Thanks for sharing all your tips and taking us along with you on your adventures. I always think of you when I see all the, “Dolls trying to get off the top shelf” at my Goodwill (:
You said let you know if we would like a basement system like yours. WHO WOULDN'T???!!! I live in Florida where there are no basements. I have seriously considered moving back to Virginia, where I grew up and went to college, just to have a basement! I recently called the person who lives in my childhood home in Roanoke to see if she is considering selling anytime soon (she is 83). Ebay has taken over my house, garage and the "she shed" that I had built in 2016 in the back yard to get my house back, which I've since filled again. What you have is nothing short of FABULOUS!!! I can't even go thrifting any more until I sell a large quantity of what is here and that, for me, is the most fun part of being a reseller🙃
Karen your storage and organize skills are to be admired and copied! My 1 concern is setting up to be sure there is egress and having smoke detectors throughout. I notice that some of your shelves cover the windows. Have you asked your fire dept for best practices?
Grinder, minute mark 1:20 looks like a vintage wall mount coffee grinder for the kitchen. Looks to be missing the upper glass portion that holds the beans before grinding, but has the lower cup to receive the fresh grinds. The upper glass will usually have a metal lid/cap that commonly has the brand on it, such as Jewel Best Coffee.
No basements in Mississippi! I had a huge basement when I lived in IL but I have lived on the coast now for the last 13 years and obviously we don't get to have a basement here. I did convert my two car carport into my dedicated eBay space. So far I have around 1300 listed items and maybe 1,000 unlisted items. I am looking for ways to store more hardgood items that is my current dilemma. Thanks for the ideas. See you soon at FlipCon you are the one I'm most excited to meet LOL. Geez I sound like a stalker! Oh lord.
I would love to have that storage!! Have you considered hanging some of your coffee mugs from what you described as "wasted space" above the dishes, etc?
Thank you for sharing your experiences and sharing your beautifully organized basement. You’re amazing! I would love to see you show how you keep your records in preparation for taxes. I could be wrong but I thought that you do everything by hand in record keeping instead of using a computer generated spreadsheet. I might be thinking of someone else. No matter what I really look forward to your videos!!!👏👏👏👏👏😊
I am your subsriber and try not to miss any new video from you. I am on ebay for almost 3 years and i got a lot of useful information from you. I and think many other subsribers would like to watch your listing process and maybe some cleaning. THank you in advance!
I really like your organization improvements. One thing is for sure, buyers can purchase items from you and know they have been well looked after and are in good condition.
Well said!
The brass piece that looks like a can opener is a “horse brass”. I saw a lot of them in England in antique shops back in the 70’s.
Roger and that smile!!!!! OMG!! As Karen would say... SWOON!!!😂😂♥️♥️
Good morning Karen. I always make my mocha latte coffee and sit down on Sunday mornings to watch your videos. They’re so much fun!
I thought you were beautifully organized before, but your newly organized inventory is even better! Love it!
Hello Karen. You are so organized and efficient. I absolutely love your basement. Watching your channel inspires me so much. It was nice to see Roger...you two are a beautiful couple. Enjoy your day. 💜

Nice work on making your space work for you! Everything looks amazing and easy to search for sold items.
Great Video Karen.
You are a champion. You deserve to wear that belt! Congratulations to you and your successful business. 👏

Queen of organization! I really hope your daughters inherited that trait!
Roger is your best thrift store find!
I love your storage space keep doing the shipping videos and pulls from your stores. You are a fantastic and I'm a great fan

I don’t believe Sams club shelves are Seville Classic brand
@@lavenderclothesline Actually they do sell Seville Classic shelving.
I bought a few last month but they sure sell out quick!

I just love, love, love your organizational ways!! Of course I'd love a basement like that!!
You have your best thrift store find beside you! Roger! Love the two the two of you
You have an ideal space for storage. You are so clean and organized.
Hi Karen and Roger, enjoyed this fun video…stay well and happy…..XO….Thanks ❣️

Strawberry Shortcake sells really well.
Hi Karen, yes I have this fabulous basement in a 1940’s house. We are lucky to have it 🍀☺️. I am using your inspiration to set up mine like yours!
Your organization process is enviable. Thank you so much for sharing it all! It is sooooo helpful!! You’ve done a lot of hard work and have learned a lot, and I’m so grateful you share so openly.
On a side note, I haven’t seen Roger before but you make a lovely couple!
Love the FB Marketplace furniture sales!
You are a beast and I mean that in the best way possible. Your consistency is inspiring.
Such a cute couple! It’s such a great thing to have common interest.
It’s a good life! Love that you take such great care of yourself!
Hi Karen, in the beginning of your thrift you looked at a grinder with a jar. It’s an antique wall mounted coffee grinder.
Love your storage system. When we purchased our home 6 years ago, we looked until we found one perfect for reselling. Oh! Damage would be a great topic for a video. What does it mean, how you track it, how it impacts reducing taxes… etc… allot to that topic!
Thanks for the information on the shelves. I have learned so much from your videos. Your time management is amazing. Keep the videos coming.
I love to watch you pull items. It's inspiring!
You two have grown on me as a couple and look great together. You're going to have to get hitched!
If it were possible to get more organized, you have.😊 An idea, get a small rolling basket/cart you can roll to each pull instead of going back and forth.🤷🏿♀️❤
It's for the exercise!
Just a friendly suggestion for Karen.
I have one, too much work 😂
Thank you Roger! I like hearing about what you buy.
Quite Smitten By Roger. Can here it in your voice , so happy for you !
It’s a horse brass and they are usually on a black leather bridle, most people used to display them years ago
OMG!! Always loved your fab organized basement!! Yep, if I had that huge room, I'd go big. Have no room, stuff is in boxes in my bathtub and stuffed in my overstuffed closet. Your basement has given you a re-seller's life! And you are awesome at it, educating us out here, too. So kind.
What a great life the two of you have!
I would love to have that kind of storage. Reselling has taken over my craft room and that’s going to have to change.
Thank you for sharing your wonderful clean rows of stock in your basement. You are kind to share your experience with shelves, shipping info etc.
I live in Connecticut and our basements are just like where you live, they are as big as the house, love it🤗💕.. I’m in the process of cleaning out my basement so I can organize my inventory🤗
I'm wondering if the brass WC Fields piece is a bridle medallion. That's what comes to mind
Hi! I think the "buckle" think is a bridle Horse medallion.
I love your videos and what you find. You explain your thought process and explain things very well. You and Roger are fun, I'm happy for you. To quote you, 'how cute are they', certainly applies to you & your Fella.
Love your organization skills
Hi Karen. Great video! The brass is an English horse brass. It depicts Tom Cobleigh from the Devon folk song "Widecombe Fair". I've just listed one exactly the same in my Etsy shop!
Karen, as usual, you have made me so happy! Love, love the pulling videos. You are the best!
Your basement is fabulous. I would love a home like that.
If you weren’t a reseller, you could definitely be an expert organizer, thank you for an other great video 🌹🙏
So organized. 😍 I really try to use you as my inspiration!
First time seeing Roger! You make a beautiful couple!! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Karen(: Love your videos! Thanks for sharing all your tips and taking us along with you on your adventures. I always think of you when I see all the, “Dolls trying to get off the top shelf” at my Goodwill (:
Roger is such a sweet man and has such a beautiful smile so lovely to see him
The brass ornament is a horse brass. It was put on horse bridles as advertisement.
cool stuff, nice first store,, brass opener
He’s cute and funny love your content and now roger oh my😍
You and Roger are so stinkin cute together!! So happy for you! Great video!

The brass top-hat guy is a horse brass. Jewelry for horses. Not kidding.
😉 You and Roger in the car ! Cute.
Wow what an AWESOME system you have!
SO happy you have Roger…priceless❣️
Love The WC Fields 💯
Oh yes! I would love to find a new home with a basement for my business. Lovely video today!
that brass bottle opener is actually from a horse harness
I believe Seville sells extra shelves for their racks as well.
Another great show, keep it up.
Fun video, Karen, Thanks! I think the brass piece is a Horse Brass Medallion.
Your organization is super impressive! Love your videos ❤️
Maybe put the jeans on sale to get rid of them faster. You have a great set up. I don't sell nothing, I just shop. I just enjoy your video's.☺
W C Fields brass looks like a 'horses brass ' which I think was for decoration mainly on shire horse bridles.
The WC Fields brass piece is a bottle opener.
Karen your storage and organize skills are to be admired and copied! My 1 concern is setting up to be sure there is egress and having smoke detectors throughout. I notice that some of your shelves cover the windows. Have you asked your fire dept for best practices?
The brass piece is horse brass for decorating their leather harnesses
Grinder, minute mark 1:20 looks like a vintage wall mount coffee grinder for the kitchen. Looks to be missing the upper glass portion that holds the beans before grinding, but has the lower cup to receive the fresh grinds. Your organization is next level!! I need to take hints from you!
Karen the brass thing you bought is a horse bridle medallion/decoration.
No basements in Mississippi! I had a huge basement when I lived in IL but I have lived on the coast now for the last 13 years and obviously we don't get to have a basement here. I love your organization! Your shelves on wheels are such a great idea as well. Is Roger as organized as you?
One of the best decisions you made was to set your business up in your home. Renting a space is expensive.
Grinder for dried herbs. Peppercorns and nutmeg.
I actually think "coffee grinder"!
Looks great!!! you should add hooks to the top of the cup rack so you can hang some of the cups and make more room :)
Brass Medallion at Minute Mark 3 is a Vintage Brass Horse Bridle Harness Medallion. I believe that one is called "The Card" and only worth about $9.
I would love to have that storage!!
Have you considered hanging some of your coffee mugs from what you described as "wasted space" above the dishes, etc?
Lol he got the darts!!!
Thank you for sharing your experiences and sharing your beautifully organized basement. You’re amazing! I would love to see you show how you keep your records in preparation for taxes. I could be wrong but I thought that you do everything by hand in record keeping instead of using a computer generated spreadsheet.
