If you watch Barry Sanders NFL run highlights, You'll notice he never broke some very long runs like Bo Jackson did. Barry was VERY quick but a lot of defensive backs could catch him from behind on a long run. Bo Jackson got caught from behind less times than you have fingers on your right hand. The famous 88yrd run where Bo Jackson got caught on the 1yrd line by Kansas city corner back Rod Jones was the rare exception. If you watch that run, Bo had cut back all the way across the field before breaking it open, So Bo probably ran more than 100 actual yards on that play. Bo said his "tank was on empty", he was exhausted at the 20yrd line and it's easy to believe it. Also remember Rod Jones was all American track star in college and had won national titles in track. All 3 listed in this video's title were once in a life time incredible athletes that we were very luck to see play. I wish we had gotten to see more of Bo Jackson play football.

You are delusional, Barry had more 50 yard runs than any running back and he was only caught from behind a couple of times, probably because he was so tired from trying to carry a terrible Detroit lion team, he also had 99 touchdowns most of them long runs. Bo was fast but Barry had the greatest cuts, acceleration and moves than any back
It's so funny. He's so small and unassuming. If the average person saw Barry Sanders on the street today, they would have doubts that Barry even played at the college level. Best rb of all time in my opinion.

Barry is such a good human being. The best Running Back ever. Played for an awful team all his career Bo Jackson, the best athlete to play Football and Baseball. Deion Sanders the best Cornerback and likely the second best athlete in the NFL ever.

Barry sanders was a human highlight film. Had he played on a good team he would of easily surpassed 20,000 yards rushing. The incredible thing about Barry is that he had to compile his yards in 3 quarters because his teams were playing catch up in the fourth quarters.
I saw an interview where a teammate of Bo's said after he was done with a baseball season, he just showed up on day in late October with no football type activity for nearly a year, and just cracked his neck, did a few stretches and went into a full contact practice in pads.........no problem. Anyone who's ever played any football knows that Bo was easily the best athlete.
Sad the old guys that remember him are mostly gone, none of the above. Legendary Jim brown nobody will ever come close, 9y yrs never missed a game never injured defenses actually feared the guy !. Average over 5yds a carry in a Era when everybody ran.
Of these three: Bo, Deion then Barry. But Herschel Walker and the GOAT Jim Thorpe are on another level. Jim Brown and Wilt are on that second tier too.
I am in no way qualified to say who out of the three superstars is the best athlete. However, I can type this fact: Barry Sanders at 5'8" dunked a basketball on an NBA regulation size rim with a back slam dunk! I saw it and there is a RUclips video of it. Just can't put links anymore on the comment section. But Barry ran like the wind, juked like a pinball, dunked like an NBA player, and had humble honor of a soldier! A very special athlete!!!
Bo Jackson is clearly the best athlete of modern times. The man was legit track, mlb nfl stud. When he played baseball he was both the fastest AND strongest man in baseball. If I could have anyone’s body it’d be Bo Jackson. No one else is even close.
This is beyond questioning. Bo Jackson is the greatest athlete, probably ever. He goes world class at whatever he does. Even archery. 4.1 speed at 6'2, 230 lbs is a demi-god number.
Barry was fast, he would make dbs with a head start look like they were standing still. But bo did it with an extra 30-40 pounds on him. I still think barry was the best rb to do it, but bo is the better athlete. He is a freak. They (His baseball peers and coaches) said, his baseball skill was PURE instinct and athleticism. If he had devoted himself to baseball and learned the nuances of the game, he would have been the next micky mantle. All that being said, the coolest moment in sports history is deon showing up to the nfl combine in a limo, wearing a fur coat, walked on the field, handed someone his coat and shades, went right to the line w no warm ups, ran a 4.2, got his shades and coat, and got back in the limo and left. 😎

I think Bo Jackson is what Deion Sanders would have been with 40 more pounds of muscle.
Greatest pure runner evever!!!!
All amazing athletes...but.its bo Jackson hands down
Sad the old guys that remember him are mostly gone, none of the above.
The 4.1 is a total myth.
All three are phenomenal but ya gotta go with Bo.
Sanders is such a humbled stand up guy. The best!
Jackson best athlete, Barry Sanders most elusive RB in NFL history, Deion Sanders one of the best CB's in NFL history.
All opions all were the greatest we may neber see athelets like this again and had the came along in todays time WOW GLAD I SAW AND MET THEM THEY ARE SPECIAL
My vote is on Bo - he was just a FREAK of NATURE !!!
Barry Sanders is the best RB I ever saw. Been waiting for a likeness, that’s not yet happened.
Barry was my favorite of all time amazing player. Dieon second in my opinion.
So true... he'll tell you how great he is
Love Barry Sanders, what a class act.
What a Humble all time Great. Too bad Barry never got a ring. A top 20 NFL player of all time.
Barry is the man and he knows Bo Jackson is the Greatest Athlete we've ever seen
Nobody in sports history was more gifted than BO JACKSON
Ali ?
My choice would be Deion Sanders. The guy could play so many positions and be great at any of them. He could run the ball. He could be an excellent receiver. He could play Tight End and he was a great defensive player. I never liked his personality, but he was a great player in his day.
