To everyone who whining this is a side-scroller, c'mon. It IS ORIGINALLY a side-scrolling game. Sometimes it is a good change of pace to revisit the classic style. If you want something that never change, go play FIFA instead.
"Change of pace" by literally downgrading the game, yes the original was a side-scroller, but every thing that came after it was 3d platformer with puzzle elements in it, if UBISHIT cared a little about the IP, then i assure you won't see this shit after what ten years from the last entry "forgotten sand".
There are benefits to having side-scrollers. You have a wider field of vision at places that would normally be your blind spots if played like 3D. The prince can maneuver very fast in tight spots now in the 2D scrolling game, which I dont think would have been possible in the 3d games

I've watched 3 separate "full game/all bosses/all cutscenes" videos from three different youtube channels and none of them include Radjen after the scene where Vahram tells the crew that Sargon betrayed them. I'm thinking maybe Radjen story is tied to a side mission or secret.

Yeah but they weren't full of enemies that you just spam the attack button on. They were much more challenging and they were more about figuring the traps and floor tiles, spikes and what not. This is just a hack n slash. I'm disappointed

Bro, that was the most unsatisfying conclusion ever. I know people are gon bring up 2008 but the thing is 2008 is hated by everyone so no need for that trash. But this is the major downgrade. For playing so many hours and tough challenges like these, we deserve a better ending and better rewards. The skins we unlock through unnecessary tough challenges are just different colors. When I saw the Warrior Within skin, I thought it's gonna be a unlockable but no. Right now, these early access dudes are giving it a good rating because they don't want these companies to not give them another title for free but 18th Jan onwards, we're gonna see the real deal.

The trilogy Sands of time, Warrior within, and Two thrones was way beyond its time. And looke at this shit game ubisoft making. Rogue prince and Lost crown both games are tight slap for whole prince of Persia series. Please do not release these games. Literally hurting in the chest 😢
The SoT trilogy was mainly linear, WW only had a couple path choices and in its linear path. At least the Lost Crown will be more open world like a Metroidvania.
Going from open world to side scrolling game is a major downgrade. The graphics r good a lil too cartoonish for my taste. I love the sands of time game, this game doesn't hold a candle to that game. Hopefully on the next time around they will make it the open world, free climbing greatness of the past titles.

If you watched the game and watched the cutscenes AND the beginning of the game, you’ll see that the Prince is not a black dude, the black dude you play as is an immortal, one of 7 who has to protect the Prince of Persia.
