Incredible coverage of an incredible game. They probably didn't do a fantastic job marketing it, but most people when they play it themselves immediately feel how great it is. Immortal difficulty is no joke, the music is crazy, the story is fun and movement and combat are both unbelievably good. I'm in awe that we not only got a Prince of Persia game for the first time in fifteen years, _it's also actually really GOOD._ Really fun how both Vergil and Slave Knight Gael (kinda) are in here. v_v

I feel like I could parry a lot better somewhere like Sekiro because its a bumper parry and not a trigger. Im not ongbal level but im still better with it being bumper parry and not trigger
Yea, triggers ain't it for parrying. The triggers have too much travel in them to be fast in a parry heavy game like Sekiro. You'd have to have a Pro controller so you can set the travel distance and even then it wouldn't feel as good as bumpers do. Just my personal opinion, of course.

Yes, it's always a bummer when I see a no damage video and think "oh, I'm gonna see some really skilled gameplay!" and then it's either lame cheese tactics or some hyper-efficient set up and execution that's neat in principle but ends super fast. Ongbal knocks them down effortlessly while still keeping you glued to the screen. I keep hearing interesting things about this game, only watched the first boss of this video to avoid spoiling the fights if I do play it but it looks neat. I'll keep an eye on it to see if the popular consensus holds up over time.

I get excited when I think about Ongbal playing all these different games and slaying like he does best. Its like when you dream of certain games you play and do things you can't actually do irl lmao. But Ongbal makes these dreams visualized. Please give monster hunter a try in the future 🙏
the best part about ongbal's gameplay is his aggressive style. The moments where normal people would dodge and take time to gather their thoughts, he dodges but keeps attacking. Always making sure to use every attacking opportunity

This is a actually 'good' Ubisoft title after a very long time. The game design is great as a metroidvania genre, and the combat is also smooth. I think I can recommend it.
True. Fromsoft also needs to add boss revisits in other SoulsBorne games. DS2 and Sekiro already did this so why not in DS3, demon mid, Bloodborne, DS1 and Elden Ring?
@@YEY0806 I mean, if we don’t include Sekiro, which has the second best boss roster behind DS3 for me, then yeah it’s definitely true. The only boss I used bonfire aesthetic on was Fume Knight. I fought him 15 times and only quit when I was truly tired of dealing chip damage and always being oneshottable. He is the only truly good boss in the game. I did like Sir Alone forever, the darklurker and Ivory king, but the rest were just mid. Either too boring or too annoying. It’s such a crime that DS3 never got a boss rush. Why can’t I just refight Gael for eternity?

Watching you dodge Vahram instakill move made me go "I knew it!" Because I know I definitely dodged it, yet it still plays the scene, but I didn't get any damage and continued fighting him. Then I messed up the second time and died, but I still fight him with no HUD. Then, the third time, it actually finished me.
The one that was so helpful, was knowing that you can parry the balls that the giant snake boss uses in the fight, I always got damaged by it because I though it was unblockable
Ongbal, if you're ever in search of a game with cool parry and dodge-based instakill mechanics, check out the remaster of Onimusha Warlords: You can parry or dodge almost(?) anything and counter with a flashy instakill that can be chained to hit multiple enemies. You can easily beat the whole game with the starter weapon, if you play like this.
I had fun doing this no damage run the hardest boss for me for me was Menolias. It was so hard to avoid those stupid raining arrows. The last boss was kind of annoying as well but it was a fun challenge

That is 1 hp. I equiped an amulet that can get damage buff instead of draining the hp.
Evil-Eye Amulet. Bought for Xerxes Coins from the Scrapper in the Depths.
Reduces your HP to 1 permanently, but massively boosts your damage.
