NASCAR has their go-to drivers to market: Chase Elliott, Bubba Wallace, Kyle Larson, and Ryan Blaney. They even recently launched a series on Netflix called NASCAR: Full Speed. But for 2025, NASCAR is considering starting a new program that would incentivize drivers to be more outgoing on social media, bringing attention to the sport. This sounds like something straight out of the WWE, and it's incredibly weird.
Its funny that to mention lack of emotions, i call Chase Elliott Mr. Potatohead, because his lack of emotion, like a potato.
Sponsors and people need to be less butt hurt when a driver gets upset or whatever.
Haha true
I used to watch Nascar (I'm not American) back about 15 years ago. I'd known most drivers through nr2003. I stopped watching around 2012 but I thought I'd start again last year but all my favourites were in the studio and were replaced by generic guys.
In this year's Bristol race we had Bowyer and Harvick and the banter between them brought back memories
I do like Harvick and Bowyer together even though Fox’s production is at a low point right now
NASCAR Full Speed is a BIG W for NASCAR 💛❤️💙
We’ll see!
NASCAR is always “weird” (putting it nicely) about anything.
Been like that for past 2 decades and 2 different administrations. Not shocking at all.
I love seeing race car drivers show true emotions in any form of racing. Just a shame that fans whine and cry about that and sponsors are so scared of “image” in terms of representing drivers.
True
This video needs more views.
Thank you.
The Netflix series should’ve featured Noah gragson or cindric 🤷🏽♂️ if u want young
Bubba isn’t even worth the hassle. He’s like a male Danica Patrick.
Bubba has won twice and made the playoffs
@@gsstopmotions Just stop. His avg start is 20.4 and avg finish is 20.5 but let's have a parade because he's won twice and made the playoffs.
@@vicariousjohnson9823 he’s better than most drivers ever
Yup.... going woke again basically... people can't be individuals or sat anything outside the box... they literally fired a kid for liking a meme.....
Well considering it was a stupid meme to like and he represents his team, I’m sure the team wouldn’t want people to see that their drivers like “memes” of that nature
@@josephhedderman9897 thank God for Stuart Hass.
@@anthonypforr6463 I’m glad he got a ride, but he was stupid to do it in the first place
@@josephhedderman9897this is wat the video is talking about. People LIKE YOU won’t let drivers be themselves. Glad you elected yourself to be an example.
@@KenC4242 bro what
Lot of truths in this
Thank you.
I wouldnt call bubba a star.
At least he made the playoffs last year, is consistent and in the top ten almost every race, and has 2 cup wins. Bet you don’t have any of that, do you?
@@piedmontrailfan81all he’s saying is his performances aren’t star worthy, stars are like Larson, Byron, Blaney, guys like that.
One of the most popular drivers
Doesnt mean anything. Being popular is all it means. @@gsstopmotions
@@gsstopmotions yes that was exactly my point.
Great observation, one of the best yet. Allow Women to compete. If you want controversy, rivalvery and drama with something we can actually enjoy then there is only one demographic that can add a growing fan base and would be nothing like WWE or a Netflix series. When I say 'allow" I mean to let them race instead of an all out as$ attack to the rear end just because you got passed by a Girl. I've seen a few Female drivers who respond well when they are roughed up and raced hard instead of just dumping them. Big difference between the two.
What a pile of in-cohesive nonsense
I @@waltersobchak8080realize this is tough for a certain amount of fans who will never except Women driving a race car. Notice nobody ever gives a reason why. Perhaps you can give us your take?
I don't see anywhere that I said women can't drive race cars, and they've been doing that across multiple series for decades. Stay delusional ✌@@stevereed8786
2:30 i think i speak for most F1 fans when i say we'd rather watch Max Verstappen dominate another season than watch 40 cars in a train turning left for 200 laps.
(Jk, I watch Nascar too, but it's just nowhere near as entertaining as F1. Sorry)
So coulda just said you’ve never watched a nascar race…
Nobody cares what you think. Move along.
NASCAR has up to 10x the amount of overtakes in a race compared to F1
